HANGING GARDENS OF BABYLON FINALLY DISCOVERED

“Finally I'm here.� Nick said with a sigh of relief. Looking out the window Nick saw mountains,trees,and rivers through the side of his plane window. Nick and his family were driving to their hotel.
“Mom can we go look for the Hanging Gardens of Babylon” Nick said. “Are you crazy!” Nick’s mom screamed. She realized that was not the right thing to say. Nick’s mom was tired from the long trip. “Maybe, I’ll have to think about it.”Nick’s mom said.
They arrived at their hotel. It was huge and had a big pool. All of the excitement made Nick realized just how tired he was. Once they were in their room he quickly fell asleep. He had a great dream about going on the tour.
Early the next morning, the sun woke him up. Nick's parents told him and his sister that they were going on The Hanging Gardens of Babylon tour. “Whoopy!� Nick screamed with excitement. Nick got ready so fast and they were quickly out the door.
Nick and his family needed to drive to the bus station to join a group for the Hanging Gardens of Babylon tour. They were talking about how fun the journey would be. Once they got on the bus the tour guide went over a couple of rules and instructions.
They were parked along a long flowing river. The place was beautiful. The people on the tour had some time to just look around. Nick noticed a stump sticking out of the dirt and quickly ran to it. “Its just a rock!” he screamed. “Remember the rules. The tour guide told us to stay close” His mom said. “Fine” Nick said.
He was a little bored. “Mom can we go back to our hotel now?” Nick asked. I have seen so many rocks now and none of them were pieces of the gardens. The tour seemed to drag on and on. “Sure. I guess we saw enough today,” Nick’s mom said.
On the way back to the bus Nick tripped on something. He got up and his foot was aching. Nick’s mom was looking to see what it was that hurt him. She pulled out a big piece of wood.
“I found something” Nick’s mom said to the tour guide. The tour guide walked over to take a look. “Do you know what you have just found!” the tour guide exclaimed.He looked very thrilled and out of breath. The “Hanging Gardens of Babylon?” she said excited and confused. “Yes!” the tour guide screamed.
Everybody on the tour got shovels from the back of the bus and started digging. They began to find many broken pieces. Nick and his family got to keep most of them.This is a day he would remember forever
Nick’s family returned back to the hotel and headed to the airport. The ride from Iraq to Philadelphia was a long 17 hours. It was very late when Nick got home. He was happy to finally be in his own bed. He fell right asleep.
The next day he went back to his school. He couldn’t wait to tell all of his friends about his wonderful trip. Nick showed them the treasures he found on the tour. All of his friends were so excited to see them. Nick was proud his family went so far and found so many wonderful things on their trip.
