Will was traveling to kashmir to visit his mom and dad. his mom and dad were in the army, at a secret base in kashmir. he flew to iraq then had to travel on foot. he walked over to a store near the airport and bought supplies for his journey across the desert. he bought a sleeping bag, 2 gallons of water, a tent, some warm and cold clothes, dry food, and a flashlight. He said “ Thank You�, and was on his way.
He had to travel across a small city with limestone sidewalks to get there. a few hours later He got very tired and he sat down on a thin piece of sandstone, and fell into a dark chamber. He got up and looked around. he saw that the hole was way too high to get to, so he grabbed his flashlight and walked around. He walked past some pretty weird paintings on the wall. he finally walked into a room with lots of gold things, when everything went dark.
When the sack was off his head, he saw 2 men in robes with guns. They yelled right off the bat “ How did you find our base! it has been hidden for years! And now YOU just stumble right into it!” “Please, I didn’t know it was a base,” said Will to buy himself some time. Then the robed men said,” I will now have to kill you, so you don’t tell anybody about it.”
Will then said cleverly,”What’s That!” They looked and Will sped off. He flew through the room like a fish running from a shark! He ran into a room, sat down, and called his parents. His parents heard and came faster than anything. tracking his phone, they knew exactly where he was. They jumped in a jeep and drove to him.
They drove through the city, and drove right through a wall! In the building they saw a flight of stairs. the ran down with weapons ready. Then they saw the worst thing, Will on the floor with a gun at his head. Dad shot at the man, but he missed. The man said “Ha ha, you miss...� Then he fell to the floor.
Will’s dad said “Looks like the bullet bounced off that coffin. The other man yelled as he through will to the side “You killed Phil! I will now kill you!”
Will’s parents quickly grabbed the man and tied him up. They took will and the man in the jeep drove and away to the base. Once at the base, they interrogated Frank (they found out his name was Frank) and threw him in jail. Will told an archaeologist about the tomb, so they went back to it and figured out that it was the tomb of Ur. They then decided to go back to the states.
At school, years later, they were learning about the tombs of Ur. As the teacher rambled on, Will mumbled to himself, “I found that.”
