SOS TOUR COST:   

$2750 (1 month & 8 shows) $5000 (2month & 16 shows) (including HBCU dates) $6500 (3 month & 24 shows) (including HBCU dates- funds must be paid in full)

1. Deposit - $2750 (50% deposit) deadline - 2 weeks before show 1 2. SOS TOUR 2014 SOS TOUR 2014 INFO LINE 404.680.7271 The 2014 Showcase of the South tour is now in its twenty first year and is one of the most prominent showcases in the music industry, allowing independent artists to showcase their talent to A&R’s from around the country in a multitude of arenas. Myrtrell Records, Taylord Music Group, No Losing, Stop The Bullying and Universal Music Group have joined together to power the 2014 SOS TOUR beginning January 16th, 2014 and embarking on 24 cities throughout the south & southeast. The tour will be headlined by SCOTTY ATL and consist of independent artists of all music genres stopping in 4 cities per weekend performing at local area clubs, and conducting middle school “Stop the Bullying” rallies.

Myrtrell Records’ Cappriccieo M. Scates, also known as “Capp,” is an American record industry executive. He is President/CEO of Mytrell records a newly formed label distributed by INgrooves Fontana-Universal. While serving as the Executive General Manager at Arrow/Universal Records, he was responsible for signing Grammy and Stellar Award winners Ann Nesby and Kim Burrell As former Senior Director of Writer/Publisher Relations for SESAC, his direct signings include: Day 26, RichGirl, Bone Crusher, Jacob Latimore, Q Parker of 112, Nikeshia Briscoe, Rico Love, Jay Fenix, The Platinum Brothers, BXC, Atozzio Towns, Eric Sire, Miykal Snoody, Nas Star, Travis Greene, Jamie Grace and London to name a few.

Moreover, Capp is a former member of The Georgia Music Industry Task Force, which served to consult Georgia Governor Sunny Purdue on the economic impact of music, film and entertainment during his last term in office. Capp holds a Masters in Business Administration from Averett University where he was selected to the National Dean’s List. In 2011, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed presented Capp with the Phoenix Award, which replaced the “Key to the City” that was awarded by previous Mayor’s. Within the public schools systems, we host engaging pep-rallies, speaking engagements and artist performances to bring awareness to these two very important topics.
