THE TYPE FAMILY There are three fonts that make up the basic components of this style: ▶ Minion Pro is used for headlines, decks and text. ▶ Myriad Pro is used for secondary elements, such as captions, bylines and special headlines. ▶ Chaparral Pro is used for display and labeling.

Minion Pro Minion Pro is an Adobe typeface designed by Robert Slimbach and was first released in 1990. Minion Pro is highly readable and functionable, yielding flexibility and typographic control for lengthy text or display settings. Minion Pro is ideal for uses ranging from limited-edition books to newsletters to packaging because it has many ligatures, small caps, oldstyle figures, swashes, and other added glyphs.

Myriad Pro Myriad Pro is a sans-serif font designed

by Robert Slimbach and Carol Twombly for Adobe in 1992. The typeface is bestknown for its usage by Apple. Myriad Pro originally included thirty fonts in three widths and five weights each, with complementary italics. This humanist font is widely used by corporations, universities and organizations for marketing and publication purposes.

Chaparral Pro Chaparral Pro was designed for Adobe

by Carol Twombly, and combines the legibility of slab serif designs popularized in the 19th century with 16th-century roman book lettering.The result is a versatile, hybrid slab-serif design. Chaparral has varying letter proportions that give it an accessible and friendly appearance in all weights from light to bold. Chaparral is widely used in printing and classical typesetting.

The name will not be bold unless provided with a caption, in which case it will be bold with a Myriad Pro regular font to follow. ▶ Summary heads: Myriad Pro regular will be the main summary head.
