•OnespeciesofCentralAmericanmothis denselycoveredwithlongstiffhairswhen it’sinthecaterpillarstage.Whenit’sready topupate,itpullsoutitshairsonebyone withitsjawsandthenattachesthehairsto thestemofaplantusingsilkextrudedfrom itsmouth.Thenitbuildsitscocoonin betweenrowsofthesespikeybarriers, incorporatingthelastfewhairstostrengthen thewallofthecocoon.Inthiswayit’s protectedfrompredatorswhileitturnsintoa moth.(cont)

ANorwegianuniversityhasreleasedtheresults ofareportonmaintainingbrainhealthand preventingcognitivedecline.They've concluded,afterreviewing101otherstudies, thatsocialactivityisimportant,alongwith physicalexerciseandinterestinghobbies.
OnestudypraisedusforfollowingtheCovid rulesandstayinghomeandnothavingface-tofacesocialactivity,sayingwementally weatheredourisolationbetterthananyotherage group.Anotherstudysaidthatwedidn'tdowell, thatwesufferedfromsleepdisturbances, depressionandanxiety.
