•Thereare12“official”Disneyprincesses, rangingindatefrom1937to2016.Thefirst princesswas,ofcourse,SnowWhite,inthe classicfilmreleasedmorethan85yearsago. WaltDisneyhired750artiststodrawnearly 2millionsketchesforthemovie,aproject thattookthreeyearstocomplete.Theinitial estimatedbudgetwas$250,000,butas productionprogressed,itswelledto$1.5 million,requiringDisneytotakeouta mortgageonhishome.While25songswere composedforthemovie,onlysevenwere actuallyused.
