MIXED-USE RESIDENTIAL ALBUQUERUQE, NEW MEXICO

This project is a mixed-use development located at San Mateo Blvd and Bell Ave in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The goal for this project is to create a mixed-use development that best serve the surrounding residential and commercial area. The building design is based off the circulation of the site and by then dividing up the shapes and shifting the modules. The design is to provide the residents with privacy by providing thresholds with adjustable entrance partitions and adjustable window panels. With these adjustable partitions and window panels, the residents have control over the amount of privacy. The goal of the project is to create a counterbalance between the public and private. The design of the mixed-use building met that goal by being open to the public for the local shops located on teh ground level, but still providing privacy that is controlled.
