TU’s Diane Kidd Gallery to Host Annual Columbian High School Show, “Art is Forever” Opening Reception December 7 is Free to the Public TU’s Diane Kidd Gallery of Art will host the annual Columbian High School Student Artists Exhibition, “Art is Forever,” with a special opening reception on Saturday, December 7, 2013. The reception will begin at 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at the gallery, located inside the Hayes Center for the Arts on the TU campus. The reception is free, and the public is encouraged to attend. The show will continue through December 21. “The Senior Portfolio and Art Investigations classes at Columbian High School are presenting art works dealing with many media areas such as oil painting, printmaking, drawing and computer graphic,” said Robert Johnston, Art Teacher. “Themes are often used by these high level students. Emotional issues such as relationships or world events really inspire my students. Many of these works will be entered in regional and state competition.”

Osadolor had a stellar season at defender for Tiffin, finishing second on the team with 6 goals and 15 points. He helped lead the Dragons to a share of the GLIAC regular season championship while also guiding the Dragons to their first ever NCAA Regional appearance. Overall TU finished the season ranked second in the Midwest Region.

McQuade earned second team honors for the fourth time in her career. She averaged 3.89 kills and 3.30 digs over 100 sets while hitting .268. McQuade had 22 matches with double figure kills, 24 matches with double-figure digs and tallied 19 doubledoubles for the season. She finished her career with 1449 kills (2nd best in TU history) and 1128 digs (top 10 in school history).

WHAT IS TAILOR MADE SWAGG? Tailor Made Swagg began in the fall of 2011 when four students that included Elisha Owens and Sheldon James, decided to start an organization that was based on fashion and how important it was for students to feel comfortable wearing whatever they wanted.
