Kelly Dorius:
Born and raised in Roseburg, OR, Kelly Dorius graduated from Roseburg High School in 2007. She was Central Douglas County's Jr. Miss in 2007 and Finalist at Oregon's Jr. Miss. She acquired additional scholarship money by competing in the Miss America Program and held the titles of Miss University of Oregon, Miss Douglas County, and Miss Three Rivers. A three-time competitor at the Miss Oregon state competition, she finished in the Top 10 twice and as Second Runner-up in 2009. She was also a preliminary talent winner with her talent, and longtime passion, of piano. Since "retiring" from pageant life, Kelly has fulfilled her lifelong dream of being a business owner. owne In 2012, she and her boyfriend opened a shoe store together in Portland, Oregon (where she currently resides). On top of being a business owner, Kelly also volunteers at the Oregon Humane Society, is a member of the Oregon Women's Sailing
Janet Richardson:
Was a Miss Douglas County Hostess for 2 years, she is a casa board member, relief nursery board member, and a junior league member. She has had 3 dogs and a cat, none of which she choose, they all just needed a home for whatever reason at the time!!
Marilyn Reischke:
Graduated from Biola University in LaMirada CA with a Bachelor's degree in piano performance. She has been a piano teacher and member of Music Teachers National Association and Oregon Music Teachers Association since 1974. Married to Steve Reischke and have two children and two grandchildren. She is currently organist and accompanist at First Christian Church in Salem OR and has a private piano studio. While living in Sitka Alaska , she was on the faculty of the Sitka Fine Arts HS Camp for 3 summers teaching keyboard classes and accompanying choirs. Sit High School and accompanied students and choirs there. She She also volunteered at Sitka enjoys travel, reading, hiking, and gardening. From 8th grade until she was old enough to get a real job she picked strawberries and beans every summer and bought her own school clothes. And Lastly She lived in Congo from the age of 3 to 12 and her husband Steve always said she swung a mean grapevine! always said she swung a mean grapevine!
Dr. Shahrzad Sheibani
lives in Ashland, Oregon. She is currently working as the office manager at Oregon Retina Specialists. Dr. Shahrzad attended University of Illinois where she received a degree in Biology Honors. She then attended Ohio State University School of Medicine and decided to become an Internal Medicine physician. Her training for Internal Medicine took place at University of California, Irvine. Following her training, she married a fellow resident and moved to New York where she joined the teaching faculty at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital for one year. The following year, they moved to Birmingha Alabama where she accepted a faculty position at University of Alabama, Birmingham, Birmingham. In 2002, she moved to Ashland, Oregon where she decided to raise a family with her husband.
Dr. Yujen Wang
lives in Ashland, Oregon. He is an Ophthalmologist. Dr. Wang earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of California, Irvine. He attended and graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. After medical school, he returned to the west coast for his internship at the University of California, Irvine and Long Beach VA Medical Center. Dr. Wang attended the residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York followed by a fellowship in retina surgery and ocular trauma at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. He moved to Ashland in 2002. D Dr. Wang was born in Taiwan and moved to Dominican Republic when he was 9 and to California at age 11. Dr. Wang sees patients free of charge through VOLPACT (Volunteers for Patient Access to Care and Treatment) or La Clinica. Together Dr. Sheibani and Dr. Wang have a giant Labradoodle named Caspian who ate all the decorations they had out for Persian New Year. They like shots of algae in their orange juice.
