Casale Gabbro

An Ode to Tuscan History

The very first restored farmhome on the estate, Gabbro features several pieces of furniture that are an ode to Tuscan history: a wood stove formerly owned by the Visconti family and several pieces that were formerly located in the Villa Querceto, or the estate’s castle.

Tuscan history is represented in every inch of the home; the majestic hall leading to the first floor has a well where farmers used to store grain and bake bread during the winter. Guests also find an incredible chandelier from Murano above the hall and stairs — a piece that was created by a master glassblower has been placed in special events all over the world.

Gabbro is well suited for all guests, from families to couples or groups of friends. Beyond the home’s unique links to the past, it also features modern amenities and spaces perfect for entertaining, including a large and convivial kitchen and a patio with a wood-burning oven.
