Graffiti artist Ricardo Conde gives Betsye McDonald a hug. McDonald, who taught in Coweta County for years, now lives in Mexico where Conde has done paintings in honor of McDonald’s son.

Music and art combined in the Playa Del Carmen murals painted by Ricardo Conde as a tribute to Joshua Vazquez, who grew up in Coweta County.

Betsye McDonald smiles and places her hand on a concrete pillar with a mural of a stylized guitar that has the name of her favorite guitarist, her son Joshua, painted on it.
