TRINITY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL HONORS NIGHT AND GRADUATION
From Our Valedictorian By Daniel Luehm Trinity Christian School Valedictorian Graduates, faculty, parents, relatives, friends, and people that just come to these things, good evening, and congratulations to the Trinity Christian School class of 2014. Today, you have achieved something special. Something only 92 percent of Americans your age will ever know – a high school diploma. That’s right, with your high school diploma; you now have a crushing advantage over 8 percent of the workforce. Now, I’m not very good at inspirational speeches, but it is my honor to address my fellow classmates. Although we may be with a majority of teenagers who are graduating from high school, we will be in the minority later when we graduate from college. Our class is filled with scholars who will succeed because of their great foundation. That foundation is Trinity Christian School. I want to thank this school and all it has to offer for being that foundation for all of us. The amazing staff, intelligent teachers, competitive students and supportive parents have all helped shape us into who we are today. Their influence, instruction, guidance and friendship will continue to fuel us in our future endeavors.
2014 Trinity Christian School Valedictorian and Salutatorians recognized at honors night May 8 are, from left, Co-Salutatorian Luke Hammock, Valedictorian Daniel Luehm, and Co-Salutatorian Brandon Lawson.
As I close I do have a few fun facts for you: We went to the moon before we thought to put wheels on suitcases. We invented Jell-O before the zipper. You can live for the entire rest of your life without breathing. And finally, the national anthem of Greece has 158 verses. I’d like to read them to you. … I’m kidding, I’m kidding. In all seriousness though, Class of 2014, let’s go make a difference because a difference was made in us. Good night!
Daniel Luehm Brandon Lawson

And to work s tireles their for and l, schoo the they have for ers of the board who memb the and rs thank you to all the teachers administrato le. possib make that vision Thank you all and good night!
From Our Co-salutatorian By Luke Hammock Trinity Christian School Co-Salutatorian A visitor to Trinity Christian School may hear the bustle of student s late to class, may see teams hard at work on the field, and may smell various odors from the chemistry room. But everyone knows of the great achievement this school has experienced. Yes this year we had a third straight championship in volleyball, an undefeated middle school basketball team, a second-place finish at both the GISA Regional Literary meet and in our region at a statewide math competition, and our first football and baseball games at Trinity’s campus. And we were wowed by the incredible talent displayed at Trinity’s musical, “Beauty and the Beast.” You see, Trinity not only has potential to achieve, it is achieving. I can remember being at this school in third grade. We didn’t have a gym, nor a high school. Trinity was a work in progress. But the Lord has blessed this school with a capable staff, willing volunteers, a lively student body, and a Godly man leading this school, Mr. Dean Demos. Suited for success, Trinity continues to produce. The Class of 2014 is no exception. This year, our class has accepte d a leadership role, demonstrating commitment to this school, to each other, and to this community. Now we leave here prepared for life: natural, spiritual, and eternal . The question is not “Are we ready?” The question is “How will we respond to adversi ty.” Isaiah 40:31 says,” we will grow tired and weary. We will stumble and fall. But if we place our hope in the Lord, He will renew our strength. We will soar on wings like eagles. We will run and not grow weary. We will walk and not be faint.” Class of 2014, I encourage you to look forward to God’s amazing plan to give you a fulfilling life. Be forever thankful for the opportunities and memor ies afforded to you at Trinity.

Congratulations, Students! To all graduates in our service area, we congratulate you for your accomplishments and encourage you in your future endeavors. We take education very seriously here at Coweta-Fayette EMC, and we think it’s among our corporate responsibilities to support local students and the educational systems within our service area. That’s why we established the Melissa Segars Memorial Scholarship, which is funded through the EMC’s Operation Round-Up program. So, thanks to participating EMC members who contribute to the fund monthly by allowing us to “round up” their electric bill to the next highest dollar, 23 outstanding students will receive assistance to further their education! Call Coweta-Fayette EMC today to find out more about how your small change adds up to benefit your community.
