ESQUIMALT FARMERS MARKET

Starting April 4 — 4:30pm - 7:30PM

(Thursdays) Memorial Park Locally crafted goods, fresh vegetables, crafts and a variety of treats - the indoor market has lots to offer.

The Bottle Drive will be raising funds for the Lions Christmas Food Hampers.

Gorge Park Join the Esquimalt Lions Club at Gorge Park, by the Nature House and playground, for a variety of family-friendly activities.

Come watch the Professional Firefighters of Greater Victoria face off for the second annual tournament.

Eight local fire departments will be playing for their charities of choice in this all-day event. Come join the fun! Entrance is free. There will be a pancake breakfast in the morning, hot

April 13 — 9AM

Archie Browning Sports Arena

Esquimalt is hosting its annual 5k and Kids 1K Fun Run! Join the community for one of the most scenic runs in the region. The route will take you to Saxe Point Park, through Macaulay Park, through peaceful neighbourhoods.

EARTH DAY CELEBRATIONS

April 17 — 10AM - 2PM

Highrock Carin Park Township staff are working with local schools and community members to help raise awareness about keeping our local parks and urban forests safe and healthy. Activities include invasive species removal, planting, trail building, and environmental stewardship. Come check it out!

Learn about our local history! The interpretive tour will take place at 10:30am led by local historian, Jack Bates. The event will also feature members of the Victoria-Esquimalt Military Re-enactors Association with their encampment, the Esquimalt Archives, and others.

ecently, a Welcome Pole was revealed in the Township Community Arts Council’s gallery area of the Esquimalt Town Square. The Carver of the Welcome Pole is Rupert Jeffry. Rupert is a descendant of the Gitxan Nation located in Northwestern B.C.
