it is built to exploit creativity. It gives to the photographers (professionals and amateurs) the needed tools and a place where they can act freely. It is founded on the social and cooperative views the net brings within it. While the existing sites address mainly one problem by giving the right tools (for example flickr.com address the need to share images between friends by giving the tools to upload and share them), Wastd aims to create a new “world” with many different meanings and possibilities. Someone could call it a social network, someone else a marketplace, and someone else a sharing tool, it is actually any of these and more. Wastd will evolve following the users' suggestions. It will gives the users the most creative place where to share their work. It gives them all the tools needed. It creates many new ways to let them gain from their work and creativity.
