San Jose State University Industrial Design | Completing my Junior Year, graduating 2017.

Window-ology - Design and Sales Aug `13 to now | Design and Sales of window coverings, including hard and soft treatments - emphasis on customer service. Also responsible for considerable IT work

San Jose State has given me a breadth of skills necessary for designers, such as Sketching and Modeling (3D and Physical). I have more than a year of experience throwing clay, and a semester of glass blowing. When I was in high-school I built a forge to cast aluminum, and I have done a bit of jewelry casting and manufacture as well. As well, I have experience with oxy/fuel welding, circuitry, and rubber molding.

Las Positas College, Livermore, CA / Chabot College, Hayward, CA AA Degree | Found a love for ceramics here, my business partner, and gateway courses to prepare me for Industrial Design. Valley Christian High School, Dublin, CA Tech-Club President for my Junior and Senior Year. Graduated 2007.

SoapWreck.com - Entrepreneur - Owner Craft Hobby turned business. I started Soap Wreck with a friend while at Las Positas. All recipes, molds, and equipment were made by me. I gained substantial research skills and business practice and management though this venture.

Absence leads the heart to wander Despite good intentions and earnest emotions, separation is quite literally that - becoming separate. The largest obstacle for couples is to overcome is a complete lack of physical intimacy.

Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing

Blinded with Science!

Who Wrote The Book of Love

Love is all in your head, communicated with Neurotransmitters.

The Five Love Languages by Gary D. Chapman gives insight into how people express feelings of love and affirmation of others.

Oxytocin: Generosity, social recognition and bonding, sexual arousal, and trust are reinforced with this chemical. Serotonin: Regulates mood, temperature, appetite, memory and sleep

Physical Touch, Words of Affirmation, Personal Time, Giving Gifts, and Acts of Service. The two of these missing from a long distance relationship? Physical Touch and Personal Time.

Endorphins: Release of these causes euphoria and inhibits pain signals.

A System for Harm Reduction - Independent Proposal

If abstinence education has taught us anything, it is that abstinence education does not work. After adopting Safer Sex Education, pregnancy rates dropped dramatically. Illicit drugs are part of our culture despite just saying no. Understanding their vilification, providing education and a means to it can be the difference between getting high or getting dead.

The past three years in design have been some of the most difficult times in my life; both at home and school. These three years have also been the strongest period of personal growth in my life. Your persistence has caused me to re-evaluate my judgements, eliminate preconceived notions, and develop empathy - something I sorely lacked. For those days when you wonder if what you do is worth it, know that it is.
