Breathing and Grip Tension

Holding the racquet too tightly during a match can lead to many problems and having no pace, spin, or depth can put you on the defense early. To help with this, make sure you are breathing out when you hit the ball. Breathing properly allows you to be relaxed and not feel out of breath during point play.

A Word from The Pros

The tennis staff hopes you and your families had a wonderful summer. As we move into fall, it is exciting to see the tennis and pickleball courts filled and everyone having fun!

The 2023-24 league season will begin in a few weeks. If anyone is interested in playing on a team, please contact the Pro Shop, and we will find a spot for you. Additionally, please let us know if we can do anything to make your experience on the courts more enjoyable.

Flex Schedule Beginning September 1

Do you want to be the best? Join a group of TCC’s best men and women of all levels to battle it out, singles style! The Singles Club Championship will operate on a flexible schedule throughout the month of September, pairing you against your opponent at a time and date convenient for you.

2023 Member-Guest Club Championship

November 8–11 | Thur 5:00 pm–Sun 9:30 am

Team up with the guest of your choice for the last major event of the year! The 2023 Member-Guest will feature men and women, doubles levels 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and above. Enjoy a Wednesday night exhibition, Thursday and Friday night cocktail socials with music, player gifts, and awards, and a Saturday lunch. Beer and wine will be served throughout the event. Cocktails by signature.

Cost: $225 per person. Registration closes Friday, October 27. On Monday, October 30, 50% of the registration fee will be billed and is non-refundable. The remaining fee will be billed on Thursday, November 9. To register, visit bit.ly/2023MG.

Tennis Bingo

Beginning Tuesday, September 5

Be one of the first two people to successfully call bingo and win a $100 TCC gift card! Bingo cards will be completed on an honor system.
