Nwines by NCampelo invites you to discover new emotions with a carefully selection of the best wines of Portugal. From the freshest Vinho Verde wines to the richest reds of Alentejo. Portugal has over 3000 years history in wine making. Ours is a story of love for its impressive diversity, signed by Nuno Campelo, the third generation of a winemaking family. Who renovated the old family wine production, starting this very special project. Here each wine is a unique experience in time and space. Enjoy!


OUR JOURNEY STARTS IN THE MINHO REGION, WITH ITS UNIQUE VINHO VERDE WINES…


In the Minho valleys, bathed by streams of the river Lima, blooms the noble "Loureiro" grape variety, with all the features of the land and the people that dwell therein. The crib of unique and refreshing Vinho Verde wines. “Verde is Portuguese for 'green' and all these wines demonstrate the green sap of youth� - Jancis Robinson.

VALINHAS ALVARINHO & TRAJADURA Vinho Verde D.O.C. Feel the freshness of the region in this dry white wine made from Alvarinho and Trajadura grapes, handpicked. With notes of grapefruit and pineapple, it combines complexity with a lively acidity. Perfect companion for fish dishes, grilled, Asian food and salads. Or just as an appetizer.

Feel a joyful region in this dry white wine made from handpicked Loureiro grapes. Crystal clear, with intense aromas of tropical fruits and floral notes. With lively acidity and long after taste, it’s an ideal match for fish dishes, grilled poultry, Asian food and salads. Or just as an appetizer.

Feel the harmony of the region in this dry white wine made from from Loureiro, Arinto and Trajadura handpicked grapes. Very balanced, with a pleasant bouquet and light minerality, it is perfect for every occasion, be it a picnic or a summer cocktail, pairing with seafood dishes, salads and poultry. Fantastic with Asian food.

Feel the elegance of the region in this Rosé wine, made from handpicked Espadeiro grapes. With raspberry hues and fresh aromas of strawberry and raspberry. Creamy and smooth, with long after taste, it pairs with delicate fish dishes, poultry, grilled and salads. Perfect for a sushi meal or as an appetizer.


HEADING SOUTH TO SUNNY ALENTEJO’S PLAINS, TO TASTE ITS RIPE RICH WINES


In the south of Portugal, Alentejo plains make Portugal’s largest wine region, with a winemaking tradition dating back to roman times. The region is known as the “bread basket” of Portugal due to its vast wheat fields. The region boasts 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, so the wines are ripe, rich, intense. An array of soils, from schist, granite and limestone to marble results in really interesting and exciting wines.

Feel the intense character of the Alentejano plains in this red wine made from Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional and Syrah grapes harvested by night. After 8 months aging in French oak barrels it shows in deep ruby colours. With rich aromas of spices, nuts, jam and chocolate. Full and complex in the mouth, with a long elegant after taste. A great pairing for meat dishes, smoked meats and cheese. Or to enjoy simply, with a good company.

Experience the Alentejano warmth in this red wine made from Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Aragonez and Trincadeira grapes, handpicked. After aging 4 months in French oak barrels, it shows in live ruby colour, with rich aromas of spices and ripe red fruits. With soft tannins and a long and elegant finish. Perfect for meat dishes, sausages and cheeses. Or to taste alone, with a good company.

Experience the Alentejano breeze in this dry white wine made from AntĂŁo Vaz and Roupeiro grape varieties. Citrine coloured, with a pleasant fruity aroma and floral notes. Smooth in the mouth, with a refreshing acidity. Harmonizes seamlessly with various fish dishes, poultry, grilled and barbecued, Asian food or a fresh salad. Perfect as an appetizer.
