Fayre Oaks High-Flyer Evening Sale Every year I get excited when I sit down with Catryn and search through the many requests we receive for the High-Flyer auction. This is the 10th anniversary of the introduction of the High-Flyer at Fayre Oaks and what a joy it has been, over those 10 years, to be able to offer such an exciting array of ponies. In the past we have made it a rule not to accept entries for the High-Flyer which have already been through the sale ring at the evening event. However, this year, because we have the opportunity of offering two exceptional ponies with tremendous show records, I have broken the mould. I do hope when you study the entries for the High-Flyer you will agree with me that this was the right decision. This year again Catryn and I, unfortunately, disappointed a number of our clients by not including their ponies in the High-Flyer. I am glad to say that the majority of these still remain in the main catalogue either on the Saturday or Sunday. The High-Flyer Evening is now well established as part of the Fayre Oaks weekend and, as always, dinner will be served on the balcony of the sales arena. Tables are still available. If you would like to reserve your place, to be part of the exciting atmosphere and the good food that is supplied by Ascari’s Catering on the balcony, then please contact the office for a booking form and reserve your spot. We have managed to keep the cost at £30 per head. As in previous years we have three or four collectable items at the start of the catalogue, before the sale of ponies, and again this year I think these are quite exciting lots. The Evening Sale will commence at approximately 6:30pm following the conclusion of the Saturday Sale, with dinner being served at the conclusion of the High-Flyer Sale. Drinks will be available during the Sale and served at your tables. Please note that only those who have booked tables will be allowed on the balcony that evening. The usual Fayre Oaks party will take place at the end of the auction in and around the sales arena and we hope that you will all stay on and enjoy the entertainment. Catryn and I, and all the staff at Brightwells are already getting excited in anticipation of the autumn events and we shall all look forward to seeing you at Fayre Oaks.
