Fayre Oaks High-Flyer Evening Sale As I said last year, both Catryn and I get excited at the prospect of searching through the entries to put together the High-Flyer Auction. This year we are even more excited on two fronts. Firstly, we are celebrating the 60th year of the Fayre Oaks Sale and, secondly, we believe that the quality of entries we have selected are some of the best that we have had in the eleven years of the High-Flyer. The High-Flyer Evening is now a well-established part of the Fayre Oaks weekend and, I hope, that the small celebration we have planned for the start of the High-Flyer will be of interest to you all. I also believe that, although we have been through some hard years, things are on the up. Both Catryn and I are looking forward to an exciting evening in the hope that trade will be an improvement on the last few years. Dinner, as usual on the evening, will be served on the balcony above the sales arena. Tables are still available and should you want to reserve your place and be part of this exciting atmosphere, share in our 60th celebrations, and take in the good food that is supplied by Ascaris’ Catering, then please contact the office for a booking form to reserve your place. At £35 a head I am sure you will not find better value anywhere. As in previous years, to start the evening event we have some very nice collectables. There is also a rare opportunity to purchase a complete set of stud books which we are selling on behalf of the Welsh Pony & Cob Society. The Evening Sale will commence at approximately 6:30pm following the conclusion of the Saturday Sale. Drinks will be served during the Sale with dinner following. Please note that only those who have booked tables will be allowed on the balcony. The usual Fayre Oaks party will take place at the end of the auction in and around the sales arena. We hope that you will all stay and enjoy the entertainment. Catryn and I, and all the staff at Brightwells are looking forward to be able to celebrate 60 years of Fayre Oaks with anticipation. We hope that we will be favoured with a large and appreciative audience.
