Classes at Chapel Cottage Studio: Since the pandemic, more and more of our activities have shifted online and this includes our learning. While digital learning is an undeniably valuable asset and online education certainly has its merits, we feel there are many benefits to “face to face” classes that you just won’t get with online learning:

🎨 🎨 🎨 🎨 🎨 🎨

Less distraction = better concentration. There is always a job to be done at home! You are more likely to complete your lessons in a face to face class compared to online. A change of scenery and the chance to meet new people is good for the soul! You will get a better understanding of your subject thanks to: discussions with teachers and class mates ; watching demonstrations in person ; being able to ask questions ; face to face communication [such as body language and tone]. Your teacher will be able to help you as you work, spotting any mistakes and giving one to -one, individual, tailored tuition. You may find learning easier in a classroom setting compared to online, this is especially true if you are not particularly tech-savvy!

Classes at CCS are a lot of fun and can help you to form new friendships. At CCS we always aim for a friendly atmosphere where students are encouraged to have a cuppa and a chat! ,

The return of Studio Lunches: We are thrilled to be collaborating with the wonderful Cwtch Cafe in Abergavenny to offer a delicious range of lunches for students attending full day or multiple day classes here at CCS! Choose from a tempting selection of lunch options including sandwiches, quiches and salads plus a slice of home made cake and a cold drink as well! Lunches will be available for pre-order. £15 per person including delivery. Full details available on booking.

Visitors are still encouraged to take regular Covid tests and anyone who is symptomatic, has tested positive, is awaiting a result or who has been asked to self-isolate is not permitted to enter CCS.
