CONSCIOUS
The term mind power and the subconscious mind power are described in many different ways. In the psychosomatic sense mind power is labeled as ability to have emotions, imagination, memory, and will; and subconscious mind power is labeled as part of the normal individual’s personality in which mental processes function without consciousness under normal waking conditions.

Here is a story that demonstrates the power of the mind. It was the Good Friday, April 9 1982 in Lawrenceville, Georgia and Anthony Vincent Cavallo, a teenager at that time, has jacked up his 1964 Chevy Impala in the driveway to work on its suspension. After he removed the rear suspension spring, the jack slipped away leaving Anthony clamped between the top of the rear wheel and the top of the fender of a 3,340 - 3,895 pound car. His mother Angela, who described herself as “5-foot-8, large framed and strong” was in the kitchen when a neighbor kid ran in and told that Anthony had an accident. She ran out and lifted the corner of the car just a few inches so it doesn’t keep pressing the passed-out Anthony while the kid went to get help. She estimates that she held the corner of the car for about 5 minutes until the help came and pulled Anthony out.

For example, studies have found that the color and size of the placebo pill makes a difference, with “hot-colored” pills working better as stimulants while “cool” colored pills work better as depressants. Capsules rather than tablets seem to be more effective, and size can make a difference. One researcher has found that big pills increase the effect while another has argued that the effect is dependent upon cultural background. More pills, branding, past experience, and high price increase the effect of placebo pills. Injection and acupuncture have larger effect than pills.

Just a few weeks into the clinical trial, Park’s depression started to lift. He began to feel less anxious and sad. So when Park learned he’d been taking a placebo all along, it was a surprise. “I was fully expecting to receive the real drug even though I knew that the placebo was a possibility,” remembers Park of Culver City, Calif. “I guess I wanted it to work — and in a way, it really did. Use your mind to produce altered sensations, such as heat, cold, anesthetic, in a nonpainful hand, and then place the hand on the painful area. Envision transferring this pleasant, altered sensation into the painful area. Pain Movement
Mentally move your pain from one area of your body to another, anywhere you think the pain will be easier for you to handle. If you can’t take another minute of your leg pain, for example, mentally move the pain up from your leg and into your low back. If you want, then more your pain out of your body and into the air.
Some of these techniques are probably best learned with the help of a professional, and it usually takes practice for these techniques to become effective in helping alleviate chronic pain. It is often advisable to work on pain coping strategies for about 30
