Before You Choose a Kitchen Sink As you design your kitchen and choose the style of your sink, there are several functionality and installation options you’ll want to consider, especially as they may impact your tap selection. We offer single, 1½ and double-bowl sinks to match the way you work – whether you use your dishwasher for dishes and just wash large pots in the sink or you hand wash your dishes and want to separate clean and dirty items. You’ll also find a variety of bowl sizes in our offering and may want to consider a sink with a wet work surface for food preparation i.e Stages™.
If you often wash large pots and pans yet want the functionality of a double-bowl sink, consider a Smart Divide® sink. The divider is uniquely developed to make it easier to clean large, bulky items while keeping clean and dirty items separate.
KOHLER® sinks are available in a range of configurations, including double-equal and 1½ bowl sinks. In addition our Icerock™, Modultop™ and Iron/Tones® range of sinks can be grouped to create customised configurations.

Under-Mount
Often called farmhouse sinks because they evoke images of traditional kitchens, KOHLER apron-front sinks have a stylish panel in front to take the wear and tear of everyday use. Our fresh approach to colour and materials includes apron-front options in enameled cast iron and stainless steel to suit any kitchen interior.
The easiest model to install and frequently used with laminate worksurfaces, the inset sink’s rim extends above the work top surface and supports the sink's weight. Clips and bolts under the counter hold the sink securely in place. Many of our sinks accommodate both under-mount and inset-mount applications.
These sinks mount beneath the worktop, and are most often used with solid worktop materials like granite, composites and timber. Many of our sinks accommodate both under-mount and inset-mount applications.

Under-Mount Sink Kit
Similar to inset, this method of installing a stainless steel sink with a slim rim, flush with the worktop is an uncreasingly popular look in contemporary kitchen design. KOHLER's most contemporary stainless steel sinks (Stages™, 8 Degree™, Poise™ & Vault™) can be installed in this way.
Many of our sinks come with custom accessories, including bottom bowl racks and cutting boards, to extend the longevity of the sink and enhance functionality. Basic accessories are available for all of our kitchen sinks. In addition, several sinks, like Stages and Indio®, come with accessories unique to their functionality.
This kit helps ensure quick, sturdy installation of KOHLER® under-mount sinks, eliminating the need to build a wood frame or drill into the worktop, saving you time, material and money.
Bar and Preparation Sinks Bar and Preparation sinks can be also installed as a complement to the main sink in the kitchen to help in food prep or cleanup or as a stand-alone sink in a family room, entertainment area or anywhere else you entertain guests.

Wall-Mount
Pull-Out Spray
Inset
If you like little to no clutter on your worktops, a wall-mount tap can help you achieve that clutter-free look. Several of our deck-mount taps, in traditional and contemporary styles, are available as wall-mount taps.
Offering the same functionality as pull-down taps, pullout taps generally have a larger section of the tap that pulls away. If you like a larger grip area, a pullout tap may be more comfortable for you to use.
A particularly easy model to install and a smart choice for laminate worktops, the inset-mount sink’s rim extends above the worktop surface and supports the sink's weight. Clips and bolts under the counter hold the sink securely in place. Many of our sinks accommodate both under-mount and inset-mount applications.

Apron-Front
A fresh interpretation of a classic tap design, bridge taps can be mounted on a sink deck or wall. Bridge taps feature a two-handled design with a generous swing spout and are available in traditional or contemporary styles.
Wonderfully convenient for the home cook, wall- or deck-mount pot fillers are installed next to or above a stovetop, giving you quick access to water without having to transfer pots back and forth to the sink.
Apron-front sinks are often referred to as farmhouse sinks because they can evoke period-style kitchens. These sinks have a stylish panel in front and are available as under-mount models.
Pull-Down Spray

Bar Sinks
If you prefer a clean sink deck without a sidespray or additional accessories, a pull-down tap may be the right solution. Pull-down taps typically feature a generous spout height as well as multiple spray options – aerated, spray and pause – for ease of use.
Many people prefer the familiarity and separate temperature controls of two-handle taps. We offer a wide range of two-handle taps with a variety of handle types, including lever, cross or wristblade handles that are easy to operate.
Bar sinks can be installed as a complement to the primary sink in the kitchen to help in food prep or cleanup or as a standalone in a family room, entertainment area or anywhere else you entertain guests.

Smart Divide
Bowl Count
The volume and temperature is controlled by one lever, located either on the tap or next to it, in Single-lever taps. If you prefer the simplicity of one control, check out our Single-Handle models, available in both traditional and contemporary styles.
If you use your sink mostly for washing large pots and pans, consider a Smart Divide Double-Bowl sink. The divider is half the height of conventional sinks, making it easier to clean large, bulky items.
We offer single- 1½ and double-bowl sinks to match the way you work. You’ll also find a variety of bowl sizes in our offering. Additionally, you may want to consider a sink with a wet work surface for food preparation.

In addition, several sinks, like Stages™ and Indio®, come with accessories unique to their design. Basic accessories are available for all of our kitchen sinks.
Flush-Mount This installation provides the ultimate sleek finish to your worktop. A popular trend in contemporary kitchens, the flush-mount application allows a level surface between the worktop and sink.
