MEET THE ROBOT PUB GROUP We know hospitality is about the people, not the technology. And while our phones and social media play a big role in our lives, the hospitality sector is still about enjoying time face-to-face. rBar SELF SERVICE

TAPS ON TABLES plus iPad food and drink ordering For a full self-serve experience, rBar is the answer. Customers can order food or drink from the comfort of their table, without having to queue at the bar or get the attention of waiting staff. And by ordering what they want, when they want and with little to no waiting time, customers can enjoy more time with their friends and more flexibility. Your profits will soar too - as while rBar drives first time visits through its novelty value, customers order more frequently, stay longer and keep coming back as the barriers to the ordering process simply aren’t there.

Case Study | Revenue Up 78%* The Thirsty Bear, London The Stamford Arms was struggling to make ends meet from its regular customers and week time trade from nearby offices. Having made heavy losses for a number of years, the lease was bought by The Robot Pub Group as a pilot and showcase of the Robobar system. In January 2012, 15 tables with iPads were installed, with 12 of those linked to self-serve taps. The pub re-opened at the end of January as The Thirsty Bear, which was followed by a rapid jump in revenue. This continued to increase over the coming weeks and months and for the first time in years, the venue became profitable. *Comparing a 4 week priod in November pre-install to a 4 week period in March post-install

rBar FEATURES Food and drink ordering

Advertising

Via the easy to use and engaging iPad menu on their table, customers can order food or drink without leaving their seat. You’ll be offering table service but without the associated increase in staff costs, as customer’s orders are sent direct to the kitchen via the EPOS.

Each rBar iPad can scroll a series of adverts when not in use, or on the homepage. These can be used to advertise inhouse events or promotions, or the space can be sold to local businesses, or suppliers. By tapping an advert a customer can be taken to any web page, or even to the menu containing the advertised product, to order straight from your bar or kitchen.

By displaying a range of beers in a wall format, each with its own self-serve tap, it provides an immediate talking point both in and out of the venue. rPOS on the iPad is fully portable, enabling staff to take orders by the table side, or have an extra screen on hand for those rush periods. rPOS can also run on an iPad mini, the ideal size for your floor staff to carry with them.

Staff Messaging Keep your staff ultra-responsive with rStaff, the iPod messaging application. In addition to the messaging tab on rPOS, your staff can receive and acknowledge messages direct to their iPod when orders are ready, or when a customer requests help. • Ensure your staff never miss an order, wherever they are and whatever they are doing • Control which staff members get which messages

Cloud accounting integration

Have a permanent and accurate record of any cash variances, and be alerted to them the minute they arise with rPOS Cash Up. Instead of cashing up on a spreadsheet, which can be modified or deleted, your staff will enter their cash up on rPOS where once submitted, the values cannot be changed.

With rPOS Xero integration, all of your sales data and purchases entered at cash up are automatically posted to Xero cloud accounting.
