What is the secret to your success as a bartender? I like to have fun! When people come into the bar to have a drink, they’re there to have fun. So, I try to sing, laugh, dance. Tell jokes, make sure they have a good time. I also try to treat people the way I want to be treated. I also love to have fun making drinks. And of course, shot shot shots!

I honestly believe sitting at home for 3 months changed a lot of people. But for the most part the people that like to go out and be social and have a social cocktail with other people. I think those people are getting back to normal and it’s kind of hard to say “normal” because what the hell is “normal”?

Do you have a passion project or non-profit that you admire or are involved with? And why? Well, we’ve been in the area for 3 years now and I haven’t gotten too much involved in the past. When I came from Brandon, I was involved with the Brandon Foundation. Here I’ve been getting involved with the Culpepper’s Cardiac Foundation. Try to support and go to the events that Melanie Brown Culpepper hosts for the Culpepper’s Cardiac Foundation and then I’ve also tried to support and help fundraising for the Leopard Legacy in honor of Tim “Timmers” Leopard. I believe that they’re two great organizations in our community to get involved with. Melanie raises money and actually helps people get into the medical field through scholarships and also supplies different businesses with defibrillator machines.
What’s your zodiac sign? Is your personality type defined by this character? I’m a Leo but I really don’t follow much into the horoscopes. Occasionally when I read things that I see on Facebook about Leos I’ll say yes, it kind of matches my personality and sometimes it doesn’t.
Do you believe in psychics? Have you ever had a reading? If so, what was the takeaway? I went one time for a psychic reading. I was pregnant with my second daughter and had already signed the papers for my tubal to be done after my daughter was born. The psychic told me and my mom that I was going to have three children and I laughed in the psychic’s face because I said I’ve already had the paper signed to have my tubal when this baby is born. Well, when my daughter was born the hospital between my doctor and the hospital they lost my paperwork so they wouldn’t give me my tubal. Three years later I had my third daughter and then I had my tubal. Yes, I do believe in psychics and mediums and I do believe in ghosts and all that paranormal stuff!
