Grady & Patty go to Mother Nature & she advises them that unless major changes occur the world as humans know it will be forever altered, as she will take control correcting any problems. Grady & Patty & Lucky are taken as terrorist after Grady & Patty send the President an email stating that unless the world including the USA will be blacked out as all lights will stay out until some major effort is made to convert all light technology to LED lighting. In the end, President Obama does not listen and all lights go out. Grady wakes up on the plane home from Minneapolis realizing his adventure was all a dream.

Falling Through Ice is gripping narrative non-fiction that will make an impact on everyone who reads it. The writing is flawless, and based on my twenty years of experience in child welfare, I can say with assurance that the author's narrative rings true. This is one of the most inspirational reads I've come across in years because it was so gut-wrenchingly honest. It was not sanitized to protect the reader, and as a result this book has the potential to truly change lives. The authors bring the reader through the valley and showed how God used everything that happened for the greater good. Because Carolyn dealt with her painful past rather than denying it or stuffing her problems, she was able to truly heal over time. This is a very healthy and Biblical approach to healing. I found this a wonderful story. The character's of the demon Ra and Etta, Etta's parents, the demon Alastor, and the arch angels were well written. Ra did some truly horrific things, but the author handled the writing of him in such a way that the reader is empathetic and interested instead of repulsed. Etta might have the appearance of a teen girl, but she's as strong and good as they come. Is she strong enough to convince Ra that there is good in him? The angel/demon world that Heaven Eldeen created was fascinating. The intricacies were revealed a little at a time so as not to be pedantic reading. Her exploration into the demon side of things before later showing us the angelic side was very much part of the unraveling of the plot. The plot was very well written with the mystery of why Etta was drawing demonic attention, why Ra had no memories beyond being left alone on earth, and lastly what the antagonism beyond the obvious was between he and Michael the angel. The final great battle was thrilling and the denouement was fitting.
