Personal Profile I am ambitious, always willing to learn and develop, and dedicated to everything I do. Being hard working and committed, I am prepared to take on any task and work in challenging environments. My open, friendly manner and good communication skills allow me to work well with a team to achieve success. My fascination with architecture was born from an early and deep interest in history and the idea of buildings as relics. This then developed as I began to see architecture as an exercise of high-stakes problem solving that will leave a net positive and lasting impact.

Interests Photography: I have always been interested in capturing the world and its fine details through photography. I focus on the city, architectural details, materiality. I’m transitioning away from seeing buildings as interesting sculptures but rather looking at the way people interact and move through the build environment which informs my design process. Linocut Printmaking:

All prints are based on my observations, most focus on architecture and the built environment. Carving and printing have been a great pastime, meditative and creative, allowing me to work with my hands.

Sport: I have played a number of team games and enjoyed the camaraderie but I particularly like the self-reliance that playing tennis teaches whilst pitting yourself against an opponent. Cocktail Mixology: Most recently, I have been captivated by cocktail mixology. I find the processes of developing (or ‘designing’) a new recipe then creating/ ‘building’ the drink for a customer (or ‘client’) to be a microcosm of the design and construction process. Creating an experience, a delight, for a customer is exciting in itself no matter the product.
