GRACE/PRO
GRACEÂ PROÂ RACE Our race frame is designed for fast road cycling and race tracks. The two most important features are the aerodynamic efficiency of the riders position, and the compact geometry for quick handling and response. The handlebars are positioned lower than the saddle to ensure a more aerodynamic posture and positioning of the rider. Even though we love the clean design of the race frame, it will not be included in our series production. However, we can custom produce this frame at your request. *Image shows old fork model

GRACE/PRO GRACEÂ PRO CITY *Image shows old fork model
GRACEÂ PRO UNIVERSAL Our universal frame is designed for more practical use, as opposed to our sport version. The universal version can be used for short-distance commuting, shopping, etc. With a sloping top tube, it is also more suitable for our female clients. The handlebar is positioned higher than the saddle so the rider is in a relaxed and upright position.
6
For daily riding in the city, we recommend the city frame. We believe this is the best option for the majority of our clients as it offers a nice look and a less extreme riding position compared to the race frame.

GRACE/ONE
GRACEÂ ONE GRACE One is our answer to many potential clients asking for a more affordable version of the GRACE e-motorbike. Identical in physical strength, core design and core technologies, we can offer an industrially produced bike starting in Q1-2011. With a specially developed fork, a slightly smaller and lighter engine, forged aluminium parts and one standard color, many more people will get the chance to FLY WITH GRACE in the future.

Important: You as a customer have the choice under what legal classifaction you will run your GRACE. Every GRACE Bike is upwards compatible. The two Pedelec model are equipped with a pedal sensor to operate the motor. The E-Motorbike has a half twist gas throttle for acceleration independent from pedalling.

Electric Motor First of all, the motor is incased in two massive CNC machined side covers for maximum stability on the axis, the 204 mm disk mountings, and the SRAM compatible freewheel. Very low maintenance is required on any of the motor systems as no oil changes are required and the wheel is directly connected to the electric motor. A hub motor is mounted by its axle, which allows the case to spin. With this, the efficiency factor losses in the transmission of power to the wheels are eliminated. Mudguards and pannier rack (Optional) Mudguards are there to keep your clothes clean. A kickstand for easy parking is standard for legality reasons. We also offer a pannier rack to carry personal belongings, as an option via our online shop to be pre-ordered before manufacturing. You can even add a child seat, or a trailer. CNC Stem Machined out of a solid black of aluminium; our CNC machines require more than one hour to produce this masterpiece. This unit is the skull of the bikes brain, and the centre of its nervous system. The handlebars are machined out of full aluminium tubes, to give maximum stability at higher speeds. The stem houses four switches for light and controller steering. The throttle is found on the left side of the handlebars so you can use your right hand for rapid gear shifts. Lights There is a significant difference between the legal requirements of an e-bike and an E-Motorbike. From dimmed headlamps, long distance headlamps, backlights, brake lights, the horn, switches, cables and etc, each individual part all have met different legal requirements. To put all of that into a diamond bike frame was the toughest part in developing the GRACE driving machine. To provide all these functions while maintaining a simple and basic look and feel was our main goal. We believe we have succeeded in our task, as reducing it even more would seem impossible.
Brakelight One of our favourite features is the brakelight. This full brakelight system with an E1 legal tag on a bicycle is also making its world debut. It looks super cool at night, extremely luminous, and street legal even for motorcycles capable reaching 300 km/h. It is directly connected to the front and rear of the system via two hyraulic switches inside the pipes of the brakes. In fast night city rides, this is an absolute must. Computer While riding, the computer of the E-Motorbike provides you with all the information you would need. Controlled via two of the four anodized aluminium switches on the bikes head, you will have all the information you need at your disposal. The computer will inform you of the speed of travel, how many amps of energy are currently running through the system, the wattage used by the motor by the second, and the charge level of the lithium cells. The computer’s display is green with black lettering. Controller Our patent pending controller housing is one of the core features of the GRACE E-Motorbike. It houses the 48v-12v DC/DC converter, charger plug, lock, fuses, plugs, and is CNC machined out of one single block of aluminium. The cooling fins keep the controller and the converter in safe temperature parameters. Also, the housing gives physical stability for the down tube of the bike frame. The complete unit is water-resistant. Travelcharger This standard charger is very compact, roughly the size of a 3.5” external computer hard disk drive. You can carry it easily in your backpack. It takes about 5 hours to charge your GRACE with this option. For the most usages it is probably enough, such as in the office or through the night, 5 hours is more than ample time. Also slower charging speeds result in a longer lifetime of the lithiumion packs. It plugs directly into any standard 220v socket.
Speed Charger Our speed charger is much faster and charges your GRACE in about 1.5 hours charging time. You can carry it in your backpack, but it is larger and more heavy than the travelcharger. For daily commuting we would advice to buy two chargers, one for the office and one for your home. It plugs directly into any standard 220v socket. Lithium ion cells Our energy storage system contains packs of 12 cells each, connected in parallel. The so called 18650 cells stores 1.3AH per unit. This type of form factor can also found in most laptop computer batteries. These cells will be produced for a long time to come. A full recharge of the battery system requires about one hour using the speed charger. In optimal conditions about 1,000 charging cycles should be possible. Please check the frame and distance charts for further information. E-mobility terms E-bike is a term that has become most common. The term generally refers to an electric bicycle with a throttle lever (<250 Watt/25km/h). Pedelecs use an accelerator pedal to regulate speed (<250 Watt/25km/h). S-Pedelecs have a similar but more powerful technology (<500 Watt/45km/h) The term E-Motorbike is used to describe more powerful models which attain up to 45 km/h (<4000 Watt) and still have the design of a bicycle. E-Motorcycles usually have no pedals, are more powerful, and look like motorcycles, with the fuel tank and engine replaced by batteries, controllers and electric motors. The term E-Scooter is self-explanatory. E-Motorbike E-Motorbikes do require certified electric engines, E1 proofed headlights, backlight, brake light and horn as well as certified brakes and tires, and the driver must wear a helmet. The frame has the physical stability to endure higher speeds. The mandatory specifications for E-Motorbikes are tougher than for E-Bikes.

GRACE/COLORS GRACE PRO
Powder Coating Every GRACE Pro bike is custom made for you in each and every way. It will be built to your size, and to suit your particular taste. There are 64 different powder coating color options. There is also the additional option to anodize the four main GRACE components (the controller box, stem, seat clamp, and motor top) a second color. The standard colour for these parts is black. GRACE One is only available in bright-white with black anodized parts. Anodizing Anodizing is an electrochemical process which coats the frame with a dyed oxide layer. The advantages of this is the light weight, hard and scratchresistant surface, with an very clean and quality aesthetic. Unfortunately, there are also some disadvantages to this process. The color is affected by the different alloys used and also influenced by different heat zoes of the frame material from the welding process. This can lead to slight variations in the finish between different frame parts. For those costumers who decide on an anodized frame should be aware of these risks.
