Design straightedge: New Orleans city had suffered a very big disaster, Katrina Hurricane and Flooding in 2008. I hope create a science museum to help people to memorize the events, and educated people to familiar with nature disaster. Using the building shape and structure form of the building, when they visit this museum, they could image people who suffering the flooding causing by Katrina Hurricane. The whole building shape combining with white cubes (Thematic exhibition rooms) and blue curtain walls (the connection space) is representing a relationship between building and flooding water. The visitors can feel a sense of serenity and coverage , and image some victims suffering the flooding disaster in the water. Sometimes, coming daylight from the blue curtain walls may make people feel hopeful, and rectangle exhibition space with solid walls may make people feel hopeless. Visiting every rectangle space (Thematic exhibition rooms) and pass through the blue-glass space (the connection space) will create an experience which simulates exploring the world under the sea or water.
