INCREDIBLE SATURDAY
2022 BELGIUM
MIRROR, MIRROR ON THE WALL... TOMORROWLAND REALLY HAS IT ALL
Saturdays at Tomorrowland are wonderful; your body bounces to the rhythm without fail and you’re no longer lost as you know where to find your favourite stages. There’s a bit of danger to feeling at ease, though: you may forget to think out of the box and miss opportunities to broaden your musical horizons! Go on and explore, and you’ll find some of the world’s greatest house DJs at the Mainstage today, including the ever-grooving Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano as well as Tiësto, who will no doubt blast his fiery new banger ‘Hot In It’. Another hot and steamy act are Duck Sauce, the funky supergroup formed by Armand van Helden and A-Trak. Techno lovers should head to Charlotte de Witte’s KNTXT stage, where you’ll find the incredible Indira Paganotto, who skillfully blends a little psytrance into her techno sets. From there it’s onwards to the ultimate nightcap, a banging set by the ‘Goddess of Hardcore’, Miss K8, at the Q-dance hosted Freedom stage.
PEOPLE OF TOMORROW,
REMEMBER TO HYDRATE! We are smack in the middle of hot summer weather, sweat evaporating off our bodies as fast as ice cubes melt. Drinking enough water is key to enjoying your time here as much as possible!

PEOPLE OF TOMORROW,
TICK, TOCK, TICK, TOCK... Only 48 more hours to dance like nobody’s watching, meet & mingle with new friends, enjoy dishes from all over the world and enjoy these festival grounds. Make sure not a moment goes to waste!
TODAY, WE LET LOVE REVERBERATE!
CAPTURE UNITY IN YOUR HEART The first rituals are done, friends. Your emotions captured; your unity proven; the City of Forever primed to amplify the love you brought here in your heart. And what magnificent events these rituals were. At once a spectacular show and a warm embrace in the open arms of the Mainstage, they went accompanied by a chorus of excited cheers – exclamations of energy, love and magic. But of course, this was not all that happened yesterday. You performed your own little rituals, as well. From your favourite dance moves, done in private in a dark corner of the Atmosphere stage, to sharing hugs

with people you’d never met before, these count. From running excitedly down that hill for a first good look at the Mainstage to that toast with your friends, which has to be done in exactly your own specific way, your rituals count. For it is through such rituals that we make connections between the love within our own heart and the love the people around us hold. Keep on doing what you do best, then, friends; explore, connect, and capture that unity within you. For it is exactly in this way that love reverberates, spreads, and grows – all to make its Reflection a grand success. 1

DAILY WISDOM Read the latest about what’s going on around Tomorrowland.
Dear Reader,
11
Besides magic, madness and unity, Tomorrowland stands for love. And although romantic letters might feel like a prehistoric practice in an age where we classify a 3 a.m. “you up?” text as ‘amour’, The Reflection of Love should be all about that eloquent prose professing a burning affection. And we are delighted to share the romance!
THE CITY OF FOREVER Some first impressions of the mind-boggling Mainstage.
To my one & only, I am composing a letter to you in this sleepless hour of night, A feeling that I no longer want to fight I just miss you in a quite simple desperate human way, As certain lovers from the past used to say

LOCKERS
FIRST AID
No one wants to carry a lot of stuff around on the dance floor and - of course - there is no need to. You will find lockers at several locations across both Tomorrowland and DreamVille.
Medical emergency? Look for the yellow flag with the black cross to find First Aid points. There is always a doctor with every team. To bring medication onto the grounds you will need a doctor’s certificate. 3

THE FIRST MORNING IN PARADISE
After a rather cold night, the sun’s first rays caress the fields again, slowly teasing campers out of their tents... And whether it was a good night of rest or a very brief one, it’s smiles all around, because this is everyone’s first morning in the best home one could dream of: DreamVille! A morning walk to the Marketplace, a freshly-brewed coffee and a freshly-squeezed fruit juice, a rinse at one of those wonderful outdoor showers, and you’ve deserved a little sit-down in front of your tent to prepare for a long day of dancing. Here’s how some of those shiny happy campers got into the groove for the magical Friday!
The routine of Iman, Ekber and Alex is to start the day with a serious game of chess. They find it hard to beat Iman, since he’s been playing chess since he was a child. Alex likes to read, as well: “I try to collect every day’s newspaper and bring home a pile of good memories”.
4
It’s not the best morning for everyone out of this group from France. While Lorraine is preparing for the first day of Tomorrowland, one of her friends did party a little too much last night. They decided that he needs some recovery time and a breakfast of champions to get ready for today.
THE REFLECTION OF LOVE
TOMORROWLAND TODAY

This daily routine is not recommended for everyone at DreamVille! Henrik, Marvin and Andrea are visiting Tomorrowland with a big group of 18 friends. They start their day with a competition: they mark the amount of beers they’ve had on the arm. So far, Andrea’s ahead at 13!
Mikaela’s group ordered breakfast to pick up at the Farmhouse, but they are still too tired to make the long journey. Since Mikaela doesn’t want to waste any food she made the effort, but it takes quite some skill to bring everything back to the tent. “No help needed, I’m a festival pro.”
THE FRESHEST BREAKFAST At the Farmhouse, you’ll find all you need for a fresh start to the day, from a hearty breakfast to freshly brewed barista coffee. Open every day from 08h00-14h00, you can make a reservation at a time that suits you, whether you’re an early bird or a late riser, and enjoy breakfast at your own leisure.
Jon, Diego and Carlos come from Spain and are all surgeons, so they know how important it is to start with a proper meal in the morning. “The Farmhouse has so many options, we really had to take some time to choose – now we’re super hungry!”
David from France arrived by himself at DreamVille. Although he didn’t bring his party squad, he was sure to find new friends at the campsite. Using an online platform, he found a big group of friends from Lausanne to tag along with and experience the magic of Tomorrowland.
THE REFLECTION OF LOVE
Tomorrowland veteran Katharina is baking eggs for rookie Yamy from Austria – and she’s even prepared herb mixes to spice up the omelette! Here is her recipe, in case you’d like to try it out yourself; stir 4 eggs, cut bell pepper and tomatoes into small pieces, add herbs and fry in coconut oil.

April from Wales has a well-defined morning ritual: “Wake up. Drink some water. Read the newspaper to catch up on the hottest gossip. Those are the morning essentials. Oh, and maybe start fantasizing about the Tomorrowland Winter edition…”
“We just got married last weekend and we’re here on our honeymoon,” say Jen & Josh from Australia. “Our friends are super jealous. If your friends ever come here after their wedding, get them a couples’ costume as a wedding present!”
Something for your mind, your body and your soul
A healthy start to the day Surrounded by colourful fields full of tents, Alpro hosts the breakfast bar at DreamVille. At this bar, there’s smoothies and bowls rather than cocktails and bites. The iced coffees, cups with pink smoothies and breakfast bowls are a feast for the eyes as well as the tastebuds… and moreover, they’ll help you rise and shine before another long day at the festival. This is just the start of the day Anna from Poland needed after the Gathering. “My sister in Germany is a big fan of Alpro, so I needed to try their stuff,” she explains. “The pancakes are just to die for! Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day for me. I’ll probably be here every morning now.” If you want to try a pick-me-up like this too, you can find Alpro at the Farmhouse.

“There’s no reason to be shy around here.” Nasti from Serbia is clearly proud of herself and showing it. “Be different and love yourself for it. Oh, and try to bring some glamour to the party as well. Let’s see if this makeup I did works out in that regard…”
REFLECT THE LOVE, RETURN THE SHOT
There’s no better way to wake up than a friendly sports match against your friends – and this year, there’s the entirely new option to play padel at DreamVille’s Chillout area. For 24 Pearls per hour, you can play a 2v2 match with your friends on one of the seven regular courts – or on the newly built Tomorrowland-themed court. During and after Tomorrowland, the Tomorrowland Foundation will donate 1 euro per player per hour to Pegode, a local organisation that runs assisted living homes. A splendid way to have some healthy fun and help out fellow humans in need, in short.
Aashish and Steven are here from the US and think there is no such thing as too much liquid breakfast. “Our morning routine: Two Vodka Sprite for the energy, and a quick jump in the pool for some refreshment. Live a little!”
THE REFLECTION OF LOVE
Emil and Ole from Sweden are masters of the kitchen as well as the gym. “We forgot to bring spoons, so we have to spread our Nutella with a banana. It looks dumb… but it works! Still, it takes forever, so you can get a few reps of pushups in from time to time.”
“I know I’ll get to see my favorite artists today,” Hanna from Sweden excitedly says. And she plans to make appropriate arrangements: “I have to make this day just perfect. And of course every perfect day starts with a nice glass of bubbles for breakfast!”

WISDOM READY, SET, CURATE!
FEELING GOOD, LOOKING BETTER
Imagine this: you build your own ultimate Tomorrowland setlist, One World Radio plays it for five entire months, and you win a meet & greet with Martin Garrix to learn how he creates his own tracklists! This became a possibility at LEAF by JBL, in their competition which was won by Kim from Germany. Should you still want to try your hand at playlist curation, one of Martin’s greatest tips is to see your playlist as a soundtrack to your life. And in order to create the perfect place to dance to these soundtracks, JBL is again hosting their own stage at Tomorrowland. Floating in one of the ponds around the site, it has an enchanting, bohemian vibe to it: bright, colourful and airy. It is also where we find Patrick from the United States and Annie from Germany. Of course, we had to ask which track is the absolute highlight of the soundtrack to their (love) life. “Ok, here it comes,” Patrick says. “Don’t laugh, but it’s actually a Martin Garrix song.” Annie adds: “That’s true! Martin Garrix played ‘Animals’ at Coachella a couple of years ago. It was our first festival together and that’s how we found out we have the same music taste. That’s really a love language to us!”
SOLO VIDA RESERVA Do you want to try the new Solo Vida Reserva sparkling wine? You can buy it at the Solo Vida Fountainbar in the Mesa Garden. Or... send your best picture of yourself enjoying drinks with your friends to today@tomorrowland.com for a chance to win a bottle. Celebrating beautiful moments together with friends is what Solo Vida is all about, after all!
Three years of living apart never felt like not-together. It is a special connection that the People of Tomorrow share. More than meeting at the Holy Grounds, they are united in their love of music, their wild freedom and unstoppable positivity. All these elements come together in the TML by Tomorrowland collections, which luckily remained available all over the globe. Even when distance felt far and wide at times, in all corners of the world, you remained visibly part of this unique tribe through your choice of apparel. This weekend, finally, you got to see it with your own two eyes: you all remained united, forever. In case you missed your chance at the festival, extend the magic and buy your own gear at store.tomorrowland.com.
SWITCH FOR TOMORROW DRIVING YOUR DREAMS Ever wanted the chance to share your message of joy with the entire world? At the Magical Forest of Joy by BMW, behind the Mainstage, you can submit your dearest wish for a chance to win a dream drive by BMW to the Garden of Madness event at Sportpaleis Antwerp this December. “I’ve kind of always wanted to write on a car,” visitor Ann-Sophie from Belgium giggles. Together with her friends Dorine, Julie, Charlotte and Kathleen, she’s drafting a very clear message on the tablet. When we ask her if she wants to share that statement with us, she responds: “Of course! It’s a quote I read a while ago abroad, and it has become our group motto ever since. ‘We cannot cure the world of sorrows, but we can choose to live in joy’. Hopefully others will find this quote just as inspiring, so that we win the prize.” If you have a message of your own that you think everyone should see, you can submit your quote all weekend long at the stand, and you might win the Exclusive Experience with BMW for BMW Friends Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s stadium show this winter. And whether you win or not, the enchanting fairies of the Magical Forest will be there guide you along the way. THE REFLECTION OF LOVE
If only the whole world were as positive, colourful and connected as this magical place right here, you may have already found yourself thinking. Nothing is impossible, and it all starts with consciousness. With every choice you make, think of the bigger picture. With that in mind, chances are you will choose positive change. You will switch for Tomorrow! To set this change in motion, enter the soul-cleansing Tunnel of Mist at the food area behind the Mainstage. Entering this tunnel signifies a positive attitude change. From here on, you will be more mindful of all the greatness that surrounds you. Passing a person with the most vibrant smile? Return it! Mesmerised by another’s dance moves? Tell them! See someone cleaning up litter? Applaud and help them! Enchanted by the energy here? Connect with your fellow People of Tomorrow and join the free hug-movement. At the Tunnel of Mist, you can also get your photo taken for charity; every #switchfortomorrow photo means a direct donation to the Tomorrowland Foundation. This way, you get to take home a souvenir while topping up your karma points. And good karma is surely on the way for this beautiful couple! 9

THE REFLECTION OF LOVE
TOMORROWLAND TODAY
BELGIUM 2022
FIRST REFLECTIONS A secret for years, now finally unveiled: the place where the Reflection of Love unfolds, where the energy of thousands upon thousands of People of Tomorrow is harnessed to create an eternal beacon of love in the heavens – the City of Forever. The extravagant splendour of the Mainstage is a sight to behold each year, but this year it is more enveloping and overwhelming than ever, all gleaming white-and-gold luster. So how did people feel when they first stepped across the crest of the Mainstage amphitheatre, looking down over the Stairway to Unity upon the City’s exquisitely shaped curves? We collected some first reactions to gauge the mood on the first day of this second weekend.
STEFANIE, FRANCE
JENNIFER & TONI, GERMANY
BART & HEIDY, BELGIUM
Stefanie can’t believe what’s unfolding before her eyes as she’s looking at the stage from the front row. She can’t keep her eyes from it and has been here for hours. “This is my first time visiting Tomorrowland and I’m going in with a bang.”
Jennifer and Toni switch between gazing at the Reflection of Love and enjoying each other’s company. “We love how big the Mainstage is this year. The colour combination – white and gold – is very playful, and it’s a perfect match for our looks today too.”
Bart from Flanders has seen about fifteen Tomorrowland Mainstages in his life, although he wouldn’t ever brag about it. “The Mainstage never fails to blow me away, time and time again. The Reflection of Love is nothing short of a city, this is beyond a stage!”
REEM, EGYPT & ANDREAS, MALTA
ARI & CHRIS, USA
THE PINK FLAMINGOS, PUERTO RICO
Reem and Andreas met at DreamVille yesterday, and look at them now! Is this friendship at first sight or what? “This stage is the slickest of them all,” says Andreas. “I love how the sonic development of Tomorrowland towards the harder styles is visually reflected in it.”
Ari from New York City and Chris from Seattle met at Tomorrowland in 2018 and are now best friends. Chris thinks the Reflection of Love stage resembles a church and it all makes sense to him. “EDM is like a religion, that’s why we’re here.”
The Pink Flamingos are clearly madly in love with Tomorrowland. “We met exactly at this spot back in 2019, and we figured this is a place where everything is always bigger than before, with always something new to discover. That’s why we’re here again in 2022.”

LOST FREQUENCIES
LIVE One of the hottest names in electronic music, Felix de Laet aka Lost Frequencies is the talk of town. Anyone who’s made new friends at Tomorrowland will know by now: Lost Frequencies is
one of the artists people from all over the world are most excited to see here in Boom. Felix’ fans are in luck this weekend, as they get to see him twice – with a full live band yesterday and once again today, when he is playing a DJ set. Ahead of his performance on Friday, Belgium’s electronic boy wonder shared some thoughts about love, livesets and music for you to enjoy.
ELECTRONIC DRUM KIT Dance music needs a kickdrum, obviously. But Lost Frequencies uses his drum set for much more than that. As this is an electronic drum kit, any desired sound can come out of the speaker when the drummer hits a pad.
12
GUITAR Lost Frequencies is not essentially a guitar player like, say, John Mayer, but his music is jam-packed with melodies. This is why he not only plays the guitar himself during his sets, but also brings a dedicated guitarist who does nothing but shred those strings.
Felix, first things first, how do you reflect on this year’s Tomorrowland theme, the Reflection of Love? “It’s really arrived at the right moment, hasn’t it? A true Reflection of Love is very much needed after most of us have been spending so much time at home. This year at Tomorrowland, we celebrate our love for the people around us, for the food, for everything. Visually, Tomorrowland has done an amazing job. The Mainstage is very stylish and clean. It radiates a certain serenity and calmth. The Reflection of Love vibe really is my thing.” You’re very closely connected with Tomorrowland. How does it feel to finally be back at the festival? “To be honest, due to regulations varying so much globally, I have actually been able to tour for the past year and a half, so in that sense it’s not so much of a shock to be playing out again. But then obviously Tomorrowland is something really special. Some people who have seen me play elsewhere want to see me again here at Tomorrowland. I guess it’s due to the footage of the shows you can find online – people can tell how special the vibe is here.”
THE REFLECTION OF LOVE
TOMORROWLAND TODAY
BELGIUM 2022
You’re one of the few artists to play the Mainstage no less than three times. What’s that like for you? “I really like it. Normally if I’d play a show late on Sunday night here at Tomorrowland, I’d be sad afterward, knowing that I would have to return to normal life again. Now that’s all different, as by the end of last weekend, I knew I had two more amazing festival weekends to go!” You will play a live set as well as a DJ set. What do you like the most about playing each type of set? “I love playing live shows with a full band as it’s a challenge. It takes me out of my comfort zone. It’s a real showcase of what I’m capable of as an artist. There are also big dangers to playing live, as so many technical things can go wrong. Last week, for example, my keytar wouldn’t connect with my laptop properly. DJ’ing on, the other hand, is actually relaxing for me. I get to play other people’s music besides my own, and I can have a few more beers, as not much can go wrong!”
MOOG SUB 37
ROLAND AX-EDGE KEYTAR
Essentially an electronic musician, naturally Lost Frequencies knows how to play what may well be the most famous of all synthesizers: the legendary Moog. Felix plays the Sub 37 type, one of the world’s most critically acclaimed analogue electronic instruments.
Regular guitars obviously aren’t enough for a full-on electronic live performance, and that’s where the synth-guitar crossover instrument we’ve come to call keytar comes in. Popular since the ‘80s, it is also a visual trademark of a Lost Frequencies live show.
“What I love the most about dance music is sound design. I’m a sucker for productions that sound massive.” You do a lot of remixes – most recently, The Weeknd – and also a lot of collabs. Is there a key difference for you between the two? “With remixing you’re given carte blanche, and then I know I can go as crazy as I want. If the artist who commissioned me to do the job doesn’t like it, I don’t care. With collaborations I really listen to the feedback I get from the songwriter; you really make a song together.” So many hits, so many collabs. What does it do to you? Do you feel under pressure? And how do you deal with it? “I certainly do feel the pressure from the label and there are certain expectations from everyone who follows me, but I have a great team whom I fully trust. Talking to them really helps me a lot. Sometimes I really feel like brainstorming with them and then afterwards I return to the studio with fresh ideas and full of confidence.” Can you tell us something about the Deluxe remixes you make of your own tracks? “I make the Deluxe tracks especially for my bigger slots at festivals. I sometimes feel that for a massive dancefloor, a track might need a bigger push, a different arrangement or a more massive synth sound. That’s why I create a Deluxe version for nearly every single track, to make my sets really energetic. What I love the most about dance music is sound design. For me a melody isn’t the most important thing, I’m a sucker for massive-sounding productions.” We’ve spoken to many people over the course of the weekend and a lot of them mention you straight away when asked about their favourite artists. How does that make you feel? “It’s just so humbling, and it makes me feel really happy to be able to play the Mainstage during all three weekends!”

BELGIUM 2022
AWITHIN DREAM A DREAM When getting lost amongst the crowds, it’s easy to eavesdrop on others for a second or two. Sometimes all you’ll find out is some artist’s set-time, or where you can get the best fries. But if you really listen closely, from time to time, you’ll pick up on the best-kept secrets and most mysterious rumors. And yesterday, we heard something we couldn’t believe. Talks of a secret stage were popping up here and there. Could it be? And what does this have to do with this craze about NFTs? We couldn’t help but investigate… When you end up at the top of the stairs to the CORE stage, it is easy to be drawn straight to it, thanks to its mesmerizing gaze and all the beautiful dancers in front of it. So it’s no wonder that only few have spotted the tiny, quaint gate to the left of the staircase. Here, you’ll quickly learn that the entrance is reserved for those who have explored the Holy Grounds better than most – and found the FTX stand. There, with a bit of luck, you’ll become the proud owner of a bracelet – or even an NFT – which will grant you access to one of the most secretive places Tomorrowland has to offer: The Hill by FTX.
Once you’ve passed the aforementioned gate, you’ll feel like you’re walking straight up to the heavens, with only the blue sky visible at the top of a new set of stairs you have to climb. We can promise you though: it’s worth the effort, as what you’ll find at the peak of The Hill will draw you in unlike anything else. In the middle of a beautiful clearing, a big wooden statue of a friendly troll – one of Thomas Dambo’s creations – awaits all those that have found out about this secret, and invites them to dance their way into the future.
On Friday afternoon around 18h00, a DJ with a mask that’ll look very familiar to those interested in the new field of NFTs is playing beats here, and people just can’t help but move their feet. In the intimate little clearing, gratitude can be felt as a cool breeze rushes from the mountaintop and blasts the crowd’s worries of yesterday away as if they were nothing but dust. The Hill feels like another dream inside the beautiful dream that being at Tomorrowland already is. We can only hope we’ve given you enough clues on how to dream it together with all those others who dare to go out and discover. Oh, and by the way… did we mention there might be a few free beers and shots waiting for you as well? THE REFLECTION OF LOVE

THE TASTE OF HARMONY
SOLO VIDA – PREMIUM SPARKLING WINE
As this wine was created by Vallformosa & Tomorrowland themselves, this is the obvious way to start your wine journey. Its inviting aromas of brioche, white apricot and citrus go beautifully with food offerings like Oysters and Lobster Rolls – luxurious, isn’t it? If you’d like to go for something less fancy to pair it with, Chef Xavier recommends a simple Chicken Burger. We couldn’t believe it, but it works so well!
By now you’ve surely noticed that Tomorrowland is full of a wide variety of great foods, from simple but delicious Belgian fries to proper gastronomic offerings at the various restaurants. If you know where to look, however, you’ll also find a selection of fine wines – which are not just delicious drinks in and of themselves, but will also harmonize beautifully with various dishes found around the grounds. Xavier Van Hecke, chef at Tomorrowland’s own Mesa restaurant in Antwerp, went with us on a tour of some of the wines available at the festival, explaining a thing or two about how they taste and what to pair them with. Having never cooked at Tomorrowland himself, what he encountered was as much a surprise to Xavier as it was to us – but happily so, as he encountered some fantastic flavours!

MESA GARDEN Discover the world one bite at a time in Mesa Garden. Here, you’ll find restaurants and small stands where culinary masterminds prepare and combine bites, dips, cocktails and wines. They’ll let you taste all that this beautiful planet has to offer. Dig in!
2 ANVERS KINGSWAY CHARDONNAY Made by adventurous Belgians who’ve settled in Australia’s Adelaide Hills, this stunning Chardonnay has it all. Its fine texture and layers of aromas of yuzu, pears, roasted hazelnuts and sage will almost draw you into the glass. Since the wine’s creaminess highlights the rice and spice of chef Bart de Pooter’s sushi, Xavier says these two simply must go together. Good thing they’re available at adjacent stands at the Mesa Garden!

WHISPERING ANGEL ROSÉ
C
Summer wouldn’t be complete without Rosé! Hailing from the Provence, the Whispering Angel Rosé really is the perfect wine to relax in the sun with. Offering an abundance of red, juicy strawberries and luscious flowers, its freshness pairs well with the Porchetta Flatbread with cilantro and mustard seeds available at Brasa. If you want to gather some friends – large bottles up to 6 litres are available…

4 WATERKLOOF CIRCLE OF LIFE Take a step back and let your senses travel to a land of sunshine and great wine – South Africa. This sophisticated offering from Stellenbosch will certainly make you think about the circle of life – and crave one of the Tomahawk Steaks prepared by Luc de Leat from Resto Maven, which you can also find at Brasa. The black cherries, dried plums and hints of vanilla in the wine will elevate that into an amazing experience for sure. Let’s feast!
ABOUT TASTING & PAIRING Have you ever listened to your new favourite song and thought to yourself, “Oh, this would be way more fun with my best friend?” Of course you have. We all love to find new ways to enhance life’s experiences, like combining friendship and music, a fun outfit and a festival… or delicious food and amazing wine. What may seem complicated at first is actually really easy: the most important thing is to think about is how the wine could enhance your experience of the food. Try to distinguish the aromas a wine could add to a dish, or consider how the acidity of a wine could bring a whole new texture to what you’re eating – without overpowering it, of course. In short, when you want to know which wine would go with which food, just ask yourself this: which wine would be my dish’s best friend?
5 PEACOCK CHENIN BLANC WILD FERMENT Talking about experiences, this one is certainly one for the books. The ‘Lick It Up’ dish made by Gaggan Annan at the Tomorrowland Restaurant at the Mainstage is not allowed to be eaten with knife and fork; it has to be licked off the plate. And it goes very well with this Chenin Blanc, with its tones of honeymelon, lemon zest, and fleur de sel. What a rush!
E
Tomorrowland, to me, is about finding new connections and combinations. So to pair food and wine here makes so much sense – always find your perfect mashup!

WISDOM DREAMS ARE OUR REALITIES IN WAITING In front of the Freedom Stage by Bud, we meet a beautiful couple from Colombia named Alejandra and Daniel. “This is our first time on Tomorrowland,” Alexandra explains. “I’m seeing all sorts of new, amazing stuff – and my eyes immediately fell on this gigantic dreamcatcher.” Behind her, we find an enormous waterfall with a dreamcatcher in front of it. Her boyfriend Daniel adds: “It got even better now that they’re telling us we can submit our wish and have the chance to make it come true.” No one knows exactly what magic is going on behind the scenes, but the way the Dreamcatcher by Bud
works is surprisingly simple: you just scan your bracelet, fill out your dream in a form, take a picture at the photo stand, receive your picture via email... and then you wait and see whether the Dreamcatcher will make your biggest wish come true. Alejandra and Daniel couldn’t wait to see, and were surprisingly candid about their dream. “You’re lucky we don’t believe in bad luck for telling you,” Alexandra explains. “We wished for free tickets to Tomorrowland each year for the rest of our lives. How fantastic would that be?”
LOVE UP IN THE AIR
MIXING THINGS UP There is no better feeling than that sense of belonging you get on a dancefloor. A place where everyone, regardless of identity, can assemble to express themselves without inhibitions. Tomorrowland and Absolut have come together to create a commitment toward a more diverse and inclusive Tomorrow with the initiative called United We Dance, aiming to create real impact. Part of this is putting six artists from underrepresented backgrounds in the spotlight: self-made female Brazilian producer Carola, nonbinary transsexual multitalent Mandidextrous, Black pansexual non-binary artist Moore Kismet, female Taiwanese breakout star RayRay, Odssey, who uses his autism to fuel his creative process, and Jana Vitiligo, who has claimed her autoimmune condition as positive part of her identity. By offering these six trailblazers a platform, United We Dance aims to increase representation of their respective backgrounds and stimulate a more diverse Tomorrow. Find out more about them and read their interviews at unitedwedance.tomorrowland.com!
At the Amare Ferris wheel you can get a bird’s eye view of Tomorrowland from the highest point in the attraction, named after everyone’s favourite Brussels Airlines aeroplane. It’s a great place for lovers to get lost in the enchanting view as well as in each other’s magical eyes. Also want to take a magical ride yourself, perhaps with the love of your life, too? The Amare Ferris wheel is located right behind the Freedom stage – but then again, you can’t really miss it from wherever you are on the Holy Grounds. And the best thing? Tickets are free!
NEVER A DULL DRINK Who doesn’t love a good gin & tonic? Double Dutch Drinks makes sure you’ll never drink anything dull this weekend, as they are serving innovative and premium mixers to shake up your favourite classic. Located at Brasa, all of their drinks are born from a flavour-led approach that allows no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives. At one of the high wooden tables, we find Farah from the Netherlands sipping on her favourite G&T combo. “A couple of cute boys I met actually advised me to order this. I’m glad I listened, it’s really good.” Sound advice for everyone, it seems!
TOMORROWLAND MUSIC TRACK OF THE DAY
Every single day, we select a new tune from the mighty Tomorrowland Music catalogue for you to enjoy: the Track of the Day. Brace yourself for the third one, for it’s a wild ride – and don’t forget to check the next one out tomorrow. Otto Knows, Dice of Nights, Alex Aris – Lover Swedish producer Otto Knows has completely revamped his sound and teams up with Dice of Nights and Alex Aris for a sundrenched, bassline-driven house track aptly called ‘Lover’. Laidback in style but euphoric in delivery, the vocals are sure to take you to another world – and probably have done just that so if you were there for Otto’s Mainstage set yesterday.

THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS PATRICIA
MARIA
“I look in the mirror and see someone wearing a Metallica t-shirt at an electronic music festival,” Patricia declares. “I love all kinds of music and love to go really hard on all of them. I love my job as a construction supervisor too, but not as much as partying.”
“I may seem quiet,” Maria says to her reflection, “but don’t let yourself be fooled. I’m actually very wild. In my day-to-day life I’m usually shy, but when I go to festivals I become more open and I start talking to everyone around me.”

JONATHAN CUBA
Unlike Oscar Wilde’s fictional character Dorian Gray, Jonathan is a strong believer in eternal youth. “I have tremendous energy, I love photography and music. I’m also a man consumed by wanderlust, but that’s OK.” Keep on walking, Jonathan!
22
Yudaly is no stranger to selfreflection. “I see someone who feels at home and is fulfilling one of her biggest dreams. Everyone in life experiences ups and downs, but I always try to be proud of what I’ve achieved and to look forward to what life has in store for me.”
GIORGIO BELGIUM
“I am 100% me. What you see is what you get. I got married to a man three months ago, and sometimes people find that strange, but that’s fine. I am who I am and I live the life I want, and I’m very happy about that,” Giorgio tells us. A good example of self-love for us all!

MIRROR, MIRROR IN MY HAND, WHO IS THIS BEAUTIFUL PERSON WHO CAME TO TOMORROWLAND? LORENA
JUSTIN
“I see someone who’s super excited and happy to be here,” Lorena, who’s made a long voyage from Cuba, says. “Me and my friends got our tickets three years ago and we’ve not seen each other for a long time, so this is a very special day.”
Not many would dare to admit it, but Justin is an open book: “I’m extremely loud and obnoxious. I always scream and I love jumping around. Not just here, but also back home; for example, while I was watching the Tomorrowland livestreams during the past few years.”

SEBASTIAN

FLORIAN FRANCE
Florian is a raver to the bone and gets up early every single morning to work at a bakery, or ‘boulangerie’, as they say in French. When he looks into the mirror he sees a guy who couldn’t be happier to be here. With Tomorrowland tattoos all over his body, you’d better believe him.
THE REFLECTION OF LOVE
Sebastian looks at himself and says: “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the sexiest of them all?” He’s joking, he adds, but also not really. “What I see and feel besides that is the energy of all the people around me and my mirror right now.”
DAYSE BRAZIL
“I am a person who is always in a good mood,” Dayse reflects. “Today, I am absolutely over the moon to be here with all of my friends, surrounded by the best music. Music is the soul of love – it’s just not possible to be sad or mad around music.”

REVEL & REJOICE A CRASH COURSE FOR A FINE FESTIVAL So you haven’t been to a festival for years. How come? Are you getting old? None of that! It’s something we’re all experiencing right now. We’ve not been able to go to any events for, depending on where you’re from, a year or two. So it’s no wonder if you felt kind of lost as to what to do on your first day and wonder how to prepare yourself for the second. Fear not though: simply follow these 8 essential tips, handed down from real-life history, to make your stay at Tomorrowland as easy as one, two, three.
Enjoy your drinks, but drink in moderation Summer is the perfect time of the year to enjoy a refreshing alcoholic beverage. It’s hard to think of a time when a cold beer tastes better than at the end of the afternoon, when the sun is at its hottest. But do take it easy and have some water, too – or it’s game over too soon! 24
Dress up (if you like) but also make sure you’re comfortable Your step counter may easily hit 20,000 per day making the rounds of the Holy Grounds, and your feet will probably prefer to jump around on sneakers rather than high heels. Loose-fitting cotton is comfier in hot weather than tight spandex – but is it a good enough look?
Eat enough and eat well Eating plentiful healthy food will reduce the chance that you’ll need a sit-down at some point during the day. You’ll find the best food from all around the world at Tomorrowland so you won’t have to eat the same dish twice, ever. Or will you revisit those delectable Belgian fries?
Download and use the Tomorrowland app The Tomorrowland app features the line-up, a festival map, lots of practical information and also realtime updates. The app, in other words, is an essential tool for a smooth festival experience. Don’t sleep on it!
Make sure your phone is charged The festival premises are massive, and it’s easy to lose sight of your friends. Make sure your phone is always charged so you can get back in touch with your chosen festival family. If you ever find yourself without a charge, power banks are available to get you back online in no time.
Discover new artists Don’t just stick to the DJs and artists you already know, but also go and see some artists from genres you’re not yet familiar with. Tomorrowland is the perfect place to expand your horizons. Check out some sets online to get a rough idea and then go explore the various stages!
Apply sunscreen Always carry sunscreen and apply it copiously and often – once a day is not enough! Keep an eye on your friends and remind each other of it. Of course you should get lost in the music and forget about everything around you – but only after this one essential piece of preparation.

House music is a feeling, and the same goes for any of the other genres of electronic music that are to be enjoyed at Tomorrowland. Music is what unites us, the People of Tomorrow, more than anything else. So get ready for it: in this section of today’s newspaper, you’ll read everything you didn’t realise you always wanted to know about the world’s most incredible DJs and producers. Reading artist bios and interviews, and studying Tomorrowland’s official timetable, is the best way to prepare yourself for the sonic splendour that awaits at the Holy Grounds. Enjoy!
Q-DANCE
PSYGATHERING
From the northern suburbs of Amsterdam comes Q-dance, whose events and festivals Defqon.1, Q-Base, Qlimax, and X-Qlusive are all centred around the harder styles of electronic dance music. With their events and particularly with Qlimax, Q-dance has sold out a wide range of stadium-sized venues with mind-blowing shows that will no doubt be recreated at Tomorrowland’s Freedom stage. If there’s one promoter responsible for the huge and enduring popularity of hardstyle throughout the past decades, it’s probably Q-dance. It’s very exciting, in other words, to see these passionate people bring the biggest names within the harder styles to Boom; from Atmozfears to Partyraiser and from Sub Zero Project to Psyko Punkz.
A faithful stage host since 2007, Belgium’s biggest psytrance promoter Psygathering is highly experienced in pushing electronic music’s most mind-bending sub-genre. From its origins in India and Thailand dating back to the late 1980s, the sound soon started spreading all over the world, and it now has millions of global fans – and counting. What’s not to like about this underground style of trance, with its thumping beats, layered melodies and riffs at staggering tempos? Psygathering’s stunning line-up today includes Ukrainian artist Jackie White and Venezuela’s Goa veteran Firaga who will play b2b with Somnia from Russia, a genre-defying psytrance producer who regularly flirts with big room and EDM. Clearly, Youphoria is the place to go today if you have relentless energy and feel like sweating it all out.

WHERE YOU BUMP INTO YOUR FAVOURITE ARTISTS One World Radio (OWR) started as a one-off project to celebrate the 15-year anniversary of Tomorrowland. The idea proved to be such a success, however, that they just kept on going, and thankfully so. During those long lockdown months, One World Radio was the glue that held the worldwide Tomorrowland community together. As presenter Adam K puts it: “we were a beacon of hope.” This year, they have their own hangout at the festival site, from which they’re broadcasting continuously – and it’s open to the public as well. We decided to hang out there for a while and plunge into the world that is One World Radio. On top of the hill, between the Harbour House and the Cage, up diagonally from the Rave Cave, is the One World Radio studio – the type of place where you can bump into your favourite artists and hang out for a few. When we get there, radio host Adam K is busy interviewing artist after artist. Despite having so much to do, Adam never lets stress get the better of him, and always finds the time to shake hands with One World Radio listeners who – of course – also happen to be People of Tomorrow.
Three years into its existence, the One World Radio studio has become fully interactive, with passers-by welcome to have a look and say hello. “I love talking to anyone with something interesting to say,” says Adam. “Today’s been particularly eventful, with lots of unexpected things happening in the studio. One man asked his girlfriend to marry him, Hardwell came in with his grandmother, and Quintino ripped his trousers while live on air.” Never a dull moment at the One World Radio studio, so much is clear.
AmyElle has just played her first ever Tomorrowland set at the Crystal Garden before going on air. The American-born, Scottish DJ who is now based in London is one of the artists who have seen their career skyrocket during the pandemic. “Tell you what,” she tells us, “I wasn’t even a DJ yet when the first global lockdowns happened.” AmyElle’s story reminds one of the classic American dream: “I released my first tracks throughout the past few years, then decided to buy a pair of second-hand decks on eBay and here I am, playing the greatest festival on Earth before going live on One World Radio. Funny thing is, I feel like I’ve met Adam K before. Might have been in another lifetime.” World-famous Norwegian hardstyle duo Da Tweekaz are also hanging out in the studio, as they are playing both the Mainstage and their own Tweekamania-curated Youphoria stage this weekend. The two are familiar with the studio, as there was a time when they had their own breakfast show on One World Radio. “We played distorted hardstyle beats and euphoric melodies early on Sunday mornings. What a way to wake up… We had a good time doing the shows, but we’re in no way sad that we’re no longer doing them. At least we now have the pleasure to be interviewed by the ever energetic, positive Adam K!”

FREEDOM Q-DANCE
Laidback Luke
presENTS Wayback Luke
MAINSTAGE | 12H00 Daybreak sessions have slowly become an institution at Tomorrowland over the years. The concept: experienced DJs who are normally scheduled to play at peak time are invited to warm up like they used to in the early days of their careers. But with all the experience and musical knowledge they’ve gathered over the years, these warm-up sessions aren’t the support sets they used to play back in the day. Expect something like an overview of the music they like or a more chilled-out set. Second one up this weekend is Laidback Luke. Probably the most admired EDM DJ among underground music heads, there’s a reason for the peculiar position between mainstream and indie scenes that Laidback Luke holds. He first started getting into dance music during the early nineties when various genres of electronic music including techno, trance and house were championed at the very same raves. The sounds soon started to become associated with different scenes and fan bases with widely diverging lifestyles and views on life. Never one for pigeonholing practices, Luke simply kept that versatile approach to loving and playing music, so when EDM came along, he also embraced the grandness of the sound. Due to his extensive musical knowledge, Laidback Luke’s sets are stuffed with goodies from all genres and eras, with various intensities and tempos. Luke and electronic music of all kinds go way back and that’s why this performance is set to be a one-of-a-kind Daybreak Session that is not to be missed.

FREEDOM
REBELION 22H00 Hailing from the wild place that is Scotland, it was always clear that Rebelion would end up making wild music. Their meteoric rise in the world of rawstyle – Gary & Raymond only started working together in 2014 – has seen them release successful track after successful track. They’re no strangers to huge shows either, making crowds scream with excitement no matter where they go. It’s only fitting that now, for the first time ever, they’re going to hit the stage at Tomorrowland as well. We caught up with these two to find out what you can expect from them at their set for Q-dance at the Freedom stage today.
This is your first time playing at Tomorrowland! First of all: what did you do after you found out you’d become part of this family? Gary: “We got to work right away! We went to the studio and just started thinking about what kind of tracks we wanted to play, what kind of edits we wanted to use in our set. For gigs like these, we love to make new music that fits want we want to do there.” Has Tomorrowland ever appeared in your dreams? If so… what did you dream of ? Raymond: “We were definitely daydreaming about it – all of the time! It’s important for us to visualize what the experience will be like to let our creative vision come to life. We daydream of being at Tomorrowland when we produce new music to play here. Those fantasies play a big role.” This year’s theme is ‘The Reflection of Love’. What’s something that you love that would surprise others? Gary: “Because of the style of music that we make, I think most people would be surprised by the fact that I find love in musicals and opera. My favourite one is probably ‘The Phantom of the Opera’. I like to visit London once or twice a year and just visit a couple of shows like that. Breathtaking!”
THE REFLECTION OF LOVE
You guys met at a festival and the rest is obviously history. What do you think is the best way to find your DJ-duo partner at Tomorrowland? Raymond: “Find someone who enjoys the music the same way you do. Then you’ll probably find a good vibe to get creative. If you’re anything like us, you’ll probably need to look out for someone with really crazy dance moves!” You two are obviously from Scotland, so… Would you rather open up a haggis restaurant here, or teach the bagpipes in the morning at DreamVille? Gary: “Oh boy… playing the bagpipes is actually very difficult. So I guess we’d go for the haggis restaurant. You can’t really find anything like that around here. Then we could have haggis at Tomorrowland, how cool would that be!” Which famous Scotsperson do you think would have been a great DJ? Raymond: “William Wallace – imagine that on the Mainstage! But I think Gerard Butler would be a great DJ as well, he has so much swagger. His stage presence would be insane.” Going against the grain and being a rebel must mean a lot to you guys. What would you say to those that struggle because they’re perceived as rebels? Gary: “Well, we’re not different for the sake of being different –
INCREDIBLE
we’re rebels with a cause. We have a mission. So to all those who feel the same way, I’d say: remember your cause! Draw power from what you believe in!” You’ll be playing the Freedom stage today. How would you describe what’s gonna go down to somebody who has never listened to raw hardstyle? Raymond: “Energy! So much energy! That’s what we think about when preparing our sets. No one should ever be standing still, so people need to be prepared and have their dancing shoes on.” Talking about preparation: what three things do the People of Tomorrow have to bring to your set? Gary: “Good and comfortable sneakers to dance with! I’d also recommend getting some drinks for yourself and your friends. Maybe also bring a towel for the sweat, as things will get hot really quickly. Oh… and an open mind – we want to take you on a journey.” Okay, last question: things might get rather wild tonight... Do you guys have a miracle hangover cure? Raymond: “Not sure we can say this, but… drink another three drinks. After that you should be good to go again. If that doesn’t help, I like to eat a kebab as well. Sounds weird to have that for breakfast, but there are no rules when it comes to hangovers!”

CHARLOTTE DE WITTE ATMOSPHERE | 23H00
DUCK SAUCE
It’s almost bizarre to think Charlotte de Witte’s first EP came out just seven years ago. Her rise on the scene has been spectacular, to say the least, as her stripped-down, aggressive and functional strand of techno has since brought her to clubs and festivals all over the globe. Fans love Charlotte for the positive and energetic way she delivers her melancholic, hard and dark techno. 2022 has been one of the best years to date for Charlotte, one of the highlights being an exclusive 10-hour-long ambient-techno-hardcore set at the Flanders Expo in Ghent. Go see Charlotte if you can, even if you’re not the techno type; she’s the kind of DJ who appeals to music fans of all sorts.

The idea of bringing celebrity artists together in supergroups is a phenomenon that’s been around for decades. Eric Clapton’s Cream is widely considered to be the first one and then bands like Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and Them Crooked Vultures followed suit. No such mega combinations spring to mind when it comes to dance music apart from one spectacular duo: Duck Sauce, a project by New York house legend Armand van Helden and Canadian turntablist A-Trak. Van Helden holds a unique position in the scene, always producing beats that turn into irresistible earworms without pushing too hard for it. On top of that, he’s also credited to be one of the first artists to produce and play tracks that laid the foundation for the speed garage genre. Stomping racks like ‘You Don’t Know Me’, ‘The Funk Phenomena’ and ‘Witch Doctor’ will be in our hearts forever and at 52, the man isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. It’s no wonder then that for Duck Sauce – a project first presented to the world back in 2009 – he joined hands with another hyper energetic figure: Kanye West’s original tour DJ A-Trak. Sonically diverse as they are, Duck Sauce tracks always have two elements in common: funk and humour. The first ones that saw the light – ‘aNYway’ and ‘You’re Nasty’ – are both capitalised ‘NY’, a reflection of love for the duo’s hometown New York City. The group’s biggest success came in the summer of 2010 with the track ‘Barbra Streisand’, based on a famous Boney M sample, and prominently featured on the aptly named album ‘Quack’. Back in 2020, Duck Sauce’s comeback tour was announced and then postponed for obvious reasons. Thankfully it’s 2022 now, the Duck Sauce comeback tour is in full swing, and you, the People of Tomorrow, are living it!

YVES DERUYTER
B-FRONT
THE ROSE GARDEN | 21H00
FREEDOM | 19H00
A former resident DJ at legendary Belgian clubs such as Cherrymoon and La Rocca, Yves Deruyter started his career back in 1985, many years or even decades before most of us would first step onto the dancefloor. The Antwerp-born allround music head is potentially the most well-known among all veteran DJs from this country. Not only will his name be forever connected to the clubs he resided at; he’s also very much part of the Bonzai Records family, a chief outlet for some of the world’s biggest rave anthems throughout the nineties. Rave, trance and a little touch of early hardcore is what you’ll hear Deruyter play in his sets; it’s about time you close your eyes and start fist-pumping.
Known for his dark sounds and overall uplifting spirit, Dutch hardstyle producer B-Front is always up for vibing with his crowds to a level that there’s a real connection between the performer and audience. In his work, this producer - who is known to his friends as Bob van der Palen - verges on the delicate balance between a certain eeriness and euphoria, always backed by a relentless barrage of kickdrums. Listen to recent tracks like ‘Everlasting’, ‘Southbound’ and ‘The Light of Darkness’ to find out more. It’s a sound that leaves an everlasting impression on anyone who’s ever witnessed one of his shows. Head over to the Q-dance hosted Freedom stage today for a hardstyle experience you will never forget. THE REFLECTION OF LOVE

REFLECT THE MUSIC DRUM ‘N BASS The Reflection of Love is all about unity – a unity of loving souls, but also a gathering of widely disparate music styles. For those that like to brush up on their musical knowledge, or explore a set of sounds they’ve not danced to before, we take a deep dive into the history of one genre found at Tomorrowland. Coming in at high speeds today is one of the UK’s most recognisable sounds – drum ‘n bass.
Characterized by breakneck tempos and ample use of complex, energizing percussion patterns, drum ‘n bass (dnb) was born in the UK in the mid-‘90s. The sound is a descendant of UK/breakbeat hardcore by way of the so-called ‘jungle’ scene, from where it inherited the practice of sampling drum breaks from old funk and disco records, recomposing them into something entirely new. One particularly well-known example is the ‘Amen’ break, taken from The Winstons’ ‘Amen, Brother’, which can be found from N.W.A’s ‘Straight Outta Compton’ to The Prodigy’s ‘Mindfields’ to classic dnb tracks such as Chase & Status’ ‘Hurt You’. Like many UK genres, dnb also incorporates influences from the Jamaican dub and reggae scenes: chiefly, deep, chest-rattling basslines that will readily transport you into a dancing frenzy. The style’s two basic elements – the drum and the bass – have evolved into many different subgenres over the years, from relatively easygoing liquid drum ‘n bass to the highoctane, precision-engineered, face-melting sounds of neurofunk. Today, you’ll find your dnb fix mostly at the Crystal Garden, where Netsky & Friends are touching down for a day of forward-thinking music centred around the genre. Some names to watch here are ‘Big City Life’ Luude and well-known DJ and producer Dimension. Another hot tip is the Cage, with Unorthodox hosting a looser, ravey take on the UK sound – but DJs such as IMANU and Flava D are sure to bring a healthy dose of breaks too.

DIMITRI VEGAS & LIKE MIKE
PRETTY PINK
MAINSTAGE | 22H50

The careers of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have been linked to Tomorrowland for a long time now. There was a time, however, when the young duo roamed around Belgium, playing the country’s local nightclubs. It wasn’t long before the brothers secured a presenting gig at a Belgian radio station, which resulted in them gaining a lot of notoriety. They then started touring the sunnier parts of Europe before finally settling in Ibiza. The rest is history, really; the duo have now been voted the world’s number one DJ twice, and past and current residencies include Ushuaïa, Amnesia and yes, you could also say they’re kind of residents here, at Tomorrowland. Not many understand the entertainment value of the DJing trade as well as they do, that’s why.
Born and bred in the beautiful woods of northern Germany, Pretty Pink manifested herself onto the club scene with a unique strand of almost spiritual deep house. Pretty Pink’s growing fanbase loves her for her galvanising stage performances, where she combines a sense of serenity with a relentless drive. Pretty Pink’s sets are unique and audiences feel it, whether that’s crowds in clubs or people who discovered the DJ/ producer via her aptly named Deep Woods radio shows. Her first production – a critically acclaimed cover version of Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’ – set the tone and remixes for Armin van Buuren and Lost Frequencies followed suit. Risen from the forest, Pretty Pink may well be one of the world’s deep house superstars to be.

FLAVA D
CRYSTAL GARDEN | 21H30
CAGE | 21H00
A producer who sits within the premier league of the liquid drum & bass genre, Netsky is one of the few major DJs at Tomorrowland playing bass music. It comes as no surprise that he’s on the line-up once again, as this man is one of the most versatile producers on the scene, reaching a broad audience with his catchy beats, vocals and melodies. His career started back in 2009 with a release on the legendary Hospital drum & bass label, which is where he still puts out music to this day. Not bad for a guy who named himself after a computer virus… Make sure to also check out the artists he’s invited to play at his very own Netsky & Friends stage.
Flava D is Danielle Gooding, a Bournemouth-based DJ and producer of UK garage, grime and bass music. After her early release ‘Hold On/Home’ on Elijah and Skilliam’s Butterz label back in 2011, Flava D gradually became better known, both through her own music as well as DJ sets and radio residencies at London’s famous pirate stations Kiss FM and Rinse FM. After releasing her first solo album ‘More Love’ in 2015, she went on to produce as part of the trio TQD for a while. In 2020 Flava D went solo again, signing a deal with the world-famous drum & bass label Hospital Records. Clearly, Flava D is one of the most versatile producers on the bass scene, a big tip!
