It quenches your thirst and nourishes your body and mind. Lucky you, then: you will find mobile teams near ski lifts and on the festival grounds throughout, reminding you to drink more water. Better yet, they will bring nature’s magical potion straight to you, for free. Remember the magic tomorrow!

Will this glowing goblet cast a spell of dancing and mischief? With each clink, this luminescent trophy brings enchantment to those who take a sip of its brightly lit potion. Let it show you: a little magic goes a long way!

Unlock the true magic of this mountain haven!
THE LOCAL WAY
Nestled in the French Alps, Alpe d’Huez is not just a tourist destination but also a vibrant community of locals who reside here year-round. Though any visitor can happily spend time here enjoying the stunning vistas and recreational offerings, it’s these residents who have all the invaluable insights and insider tips. Their intimate knowledge of the area and its traditions means that they can add a layer of authenticity to your Alpe d’Huez experience.
The people, then, are an integral part of the experience in this Alpine paradise. From recommending the best hiking trails in summer to uncovering cosy après-ski spots in winter, the locals of Alpe d’Huez embody the essence of hospitality. Ask away, and they will eagerly share their insights. Let’s ask the locals what’s what, as they hold the keys to unlocking the true magic of this mountain haven.
Hospitality is part of Laurent’s job, so it isn’t surprising that he doesn’t have to think twice about tips to make the most of the region. Laurent: “Living here is great because it is sunny here year-round. That makes it great to spend time outdoors in summer to go hiking, golfing and climbing, as well as in winter, when you can enjoy all types of snow sports in the sun. The region has some great culinary highlights. You can enjoy walnuts, Saint Marcellin cheese and Chartreuse, a herbal liqueur named after the Carthusian monastery in the French Alps. Such things make for a great gift for the whole family!”
Born and raised in Alpe d’Huez, Zalie knows it inside and out. Zalie: “I was born here, and after 22 years, the view from my balcony still never disappoints. So yes, for me, Alpe d’Huez is a truly magical place! That is because it is a constantly evolving and above all unpredictable environment. Every year, there are more and crazier surprises here. That’s what makes my job so great: as a ski instructor, I can share my passion every day with people of all ages.”
As a restaurant owner, Aurore knows it all when it comes to local delicacies. Aurore: “The best French cheese is goat cheese, in my opinion. One tip is the delicious goat cheese from the goat farm in Villars Reculas, the village right next to Alpe d’Huez. But there is more to Alpe d’Huez than just food. I fell in love with the town when I first came here in 2012 because of the sunshine and the way it makes you feel right at home. The people from this region have a real connection to nature. The mountain is a big playground and should be treated with respect.”
Neither born nor raised here, Jean-Denis moved to Alpe d’Huez by choice. What makes him love it so? “I’ve lived in Alpe d’Huez for over 15 years. Something very unique here is Fête de la Sainte Anne, a celebration held in late July, honouring the saint of the village of Huez. The festival is marked by processions, prayers, folk dancing and, of course, delicious regional culinary specialties. My favourite local delicacy? French wines! Apremont is a light, refreshing Savoy white wine, perfect for accompanying mountain dishes. Château Chasse-Spleen is a red Médoc wine, renowned for its quality and elegance. Both represent the diversity and richness of French wines perfectly.”
one world radio riding high on the airwaves
INTRODUCING YOUR HOSTS ADAM K AND JUSTIN WILKES
BROADCASTING
FROM THE HEART OF ALPE D’HUEZ
From Tuesday through to Friday, One World Radio is your one-stop destination for live footage from the festival, interviews with the artists, practical information, hilarious chatter and simply the best music. Tune back in on Saturday and Sunday for the very best sets of the week just past. And tell your friends who didn’t come – we know, what a shame –that tuning into OWR is the very best and only way to get that Tomorrowland Winter feeling at home. As you tune in, we’d like to introduce you to Adam K and Justin Wilkes, your everexcited and knowledgeable hosts for the week and beyond – because the best thing about One World Radio is that you can listen to it throughout the year, every single day.
How do you bring that typical Tomorrowland Winter feeling to everyone listening to One World Radio around the world? What’s the trick?
Adam: “The Tomorrowland Winter feeling truly has to be felt with your senses to be fully understood, but with the energy and excitement of being there for our third year, I always try to paint pictures of what I see, so as a listener you can picture yourself surrounded by epic stages amongst snow-capped peaks.”
You will be broadcasting from the artist hotel this year. What’s the vibe like in the hotel?
Justin: “It’s a genius and fairly unique idea, having the One World Radio studio in the hotel. It means the artists know where we are and it makes the interviews and interactions much more natural than coming into a normal radio studio. You’ll hear the artists talking much more openly about their day, their sets, and their lives.”
Adam will start broadcasting live from Tuesday, ahead of the festival’s bigger days. How will you start easing the listeners into the festival?
Adam: “We might relive the madness because there is lots of amazing music and stories from previous years to be shared. But I generally don’t do easing in very well. If it’s on, I’m on. I can’t wait to start sharing stories and music!”
What is the best thing about the Tomorrowland Winter vibe?
Justin: “Alpe d’Huez is such a beautiful location, and you can hear the music coming from the stages pretty much anywhere you go. There’s a constant buzz for the whole week from morning to night.”
Who are the artists you’re looking forward to speaking to the most and why?
Adam: “The energy of Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano is always something that works well in the mountains, and I’m looking forward to chatting to Amber Broos too. She’s on fire right now. Dimi and Mike have just announced their summer residency on Wednesday nights in Ibiza and Mike dropped an album last month. I’m also really excited about catching up with Joel Corry. It’s his first time at Tomorrowland Winter and I know he spent February in the studio working on loads of brand new music, so I'm keen to find out what that looks and sounds like. So yes, there really is lots to talk about.”
What is your favourite secret little spot at Tomorrowland Winter that you can’t wait to tell the One World Radio listeners about?
Justin: “Well, the secret spots change each year – remember Kölsch in the church! However, for the best party/ski day you need to head to Pic Blanc for the Top of the Mountain. The party starts there at midday. The stage is so high up it has to be supplied by helicopter, you really don’t want to miss it… Also the early evening vibe is always on at Brasa in the village. I’ll be playing there on Wednesday at 18:45.”
CAMILLE’S CHOICE

AMBER BROOS
“Of course, I am here to support the One World Radio family on stage. I look forward to hearing Amber play music from her Pulse EP this Winter.”

POWER TO THE PEOPLE
If you’re part of the vibrant community that is Tomorrowland, then you already know that it’s not just a festival — it’s a movement. A movement powered by positivity, love, unity and a shared commitment to making our world a better place. It is this positive energy that inspired Tomorrowland to start up the Tomorrowland Foundation, a beacon of hope and action right from the heart of the movement.
The Tomorrowland Foundation is about getting involved in meaningful ways, collaborating with independent non-profit organisations focused on vulnerable children. For instance, take their partnership with Mobile School, an organisation that brings education to street children across the globe. It’s about giving children a chance to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.
And that’s not all. Acknowledging that tapping into creativity and self-confidence makes people unstoppable, the Tomorrowland Foundation has established two Music & Arts Schools in Nepal and India and is currently building a third in Brazil. Creativity is an important aspect of children’s personal development and helps them (re)gain and retain a positive self-image. The Music & Arts schools give
ON A MISSION WITH PURPOSE AND PASSION, A GLOBAL MOVEMENT
children the opportunity to attend music and art classes to discover and unlock their talents, handing them the tools they need to express themselves, discover their passions, and believe in themselves.
The support that the Tomorrowland Foundation gives to its partners is not limited to mere financial support, though. It's not just about what the Foundation does — it's also about the message they spread, namely that education and empowerment are the keys to transforming the lives of the poorest children and youngsters. With the unwavering support of the incredibly dedicated People of Tomorrow, that message is turning into a global movement. Because, through coming together with purpose and passion, there is hope that people all over the world will actively join in the same mission.
Your Mission
The Tomorrowland Foundation is funded through various channels, and you can contribute in different ways right here at Tomorrowland Winter. Head to the Official Tomorrowland Store on site to browse the ‘Love Tomorrowland’ collection; donate Pearls when you top up your bracelet; donate your leftover Pearls after the festival ends; or transfer a spontaneous donation to the Tomorrowland Foundation via foundation.tomorrowland.com.
CULINARY HEIGHTS & HEARTWARMING APPETITES
As if these snowy peaks and riveting beats aren’t getting your adrenaline pumping already, a culinary adventure is also waiting to be devoured. Whether you’re an avid snow enthusiast who’s worked up an appetite, or a festival lover seeking gastronomic delights, a feast for the senses awaits all around the festival grounds and the slopes.
This week in Alpe d’Huez truly offers a journey around all the Tastes Of The World. Navigate unexpected tropical barbecue sensations and local classics such as the epitome of French dining: cheese fondue. Make your way to taste true Belgian delights such as waffles and fries, or try grilled Greek pita. Opt for a bowl of nachos to share (or not!), or a bowl of steaming hot ramen, instead. Ensuring a peak experience for your taste buds, it’s time to plan your foodie-route as you savour every side of Tomorrowland Winter.
THE ART OF MIXOLOGY
Ready to experience your drinks like you never have before?
Embark on an unforgettable mixology journey at Papillon 1860. Following the resounding success of 2023, the cocktail experience returns, inspired by the butterfly – ‘papillon’ in French. Hosted by renowned cocktail connoisseurs and mixologists Matthias Giroud from l’Alchimiste Paris and Elias Belmans from Mesa Antwerp, it guarantees a fusion of creativity and flavour that will tantalise your senses.
The magical 45-minute cocktail experience allows you to indulge in an interactive, live and multisensory experience that brings new flavours to life. Offering a unique opportunity to engage with the masters of mixology and discover the secrets behind their craft, it’s a must-visit for those with a heart for cocktails. Forgot to arrange a voucher for the experience? As the clock strikes 20:00, Papillon 1860 opens its doors to all. Revel in the lively cocktail bar where music sets the tone for an evening of diverse signature cocktails, alongside the exquisite Solo Vida sparkling wine and distinguished wines from Acta non Verba.
Ramen-Ya
Ramen boasts a rich history intertwined with cultural evolution and culinary innovation. Initially considered a luxury item, ramen gained popularity as an affordable street food, evolving into the beloved comfort food it is today. It is easy to understand why its hearty and warming qualities make it a great comfort in colder seasons: this steaming broth full of nourishment offers respite against winter’s whims.
Beyond its culinary appeal, ramen holds cultural significance in native Japan. It serves as a communal meal, bringing people together to share stories and connect over a steaming bowl of noodles. Let yourself be led by example and bring your friends to enjoy a heart-warming dish with toppings of fried tofu, pork belly, or both at the noodle stand next to the Belgian Beer Bar.
Grillin’ and Chillin’
As if a barbecue area isn’t surprising enough by itself in the depth of winter, Brasa comes packed with extras. Take the Brasa Restaurant, for instance, where the chef invites you to take a break and recharge with a delicious 3-course barbecue menu. If you did not secure a spot at the Brasa Restaurant, however, there is still plenty of reason to head to its surrounding deck instead. Here, you will find fingerlicking good, slow-cooked, juicy ribs straight from the BBQ. Brasa also delivers grilled goodies to the adjoining burger stand, where meat lovers as well as animal-loving vegetarians can get their fix. Want to share, instead? Nachos are always a good idea, and pair incredibly well with just about any drink, or two.
Sweet Heritage
One would be remiss to overlook a quintessential Belgian delight: waffles. Be it as an homage to Tomorrowland’s Belgian roots or to satisfy your sweet tooth, these delectable treats hold a special place in the hearts and palates of many. Indulge in these freshly-made, fluffy delights as an ode to the Holy Grounds or sink your teeth into a warm waffle to counter the cold of winter. With its crispy exterior and soft interior, each bite of a waffle offers a burst of sweetness for those with a knack for tasty temptations: the perfect dessert, or an ideal excuse for a sweet treat whatever the time of day.
Signal 2108
With a 3-course lunch formula showcasing local products and culinary craftsmanship, and an evening formula featuring limitedtime cheese fondue, Signal 2108 offers an authentic local taste. Awarded ‘Maître Restaurateur’ status, which guarantees 100% traditional and professional homemade cuisine, Signal is a great choice to savour the essence of Alpine cuisine.
Folie Douce
This vibrant spot combines delectable 3-course lunch options with an electric atmosphere. Those who prefer to dance while dining, but prefer not to do so on the table itself, can opt for take-away. The flavour-packed menu, pulsating ambiance and breathtaking views, however, might be just what you need to enjoy a seated meal.
Chantebise
Offering homemade mountain dishes and stunning views, Chantebise is a must-visit for a mountain experience as the epitome of rustic Alpine charm. The restaurant offers homemade mountain dishes, with the added bonus of local hospitality. The views are equally delicious from the deck, where you can indulge in traditional delicacies like classic tartiflettes as well as BBQ delights.
REIGN OVER FLAMES
Step into the sizzling world of chef Toon de Bock, the culinary maestro behind the scenes of Tomorrowland’s artist catering – when he’s not on his other exciting kitchen duties. He crafts gourmet feasts for the hottest names in the industry, on the festival site but also at their homes, but Toon is not just about fancy plates and posh venues. His true passion lies in taming the flames of an open grill fire. That’s why it makes so much sense that he is returning to reign Brasa’s crackling flames as the cooking genius of this BBQ paradise.
You have become a Tomorrowland household name over the past few years. What’s so great about Tomorrowland Winter?
“I love Tomorrowland Winter as it allows me to combine my passion for cooking with my other passion - the mountains. Since I was little, I have gone to the mountains to ski and snowboard. Add in cooking and you get me at my best! Walking through the snow to work is just fantastic. What a privilege.”
What makes Brasa’s concept so good that it fills up every year?
“After a day of winter sports and being in the mountains, having the opportunity to
be able to sit down for a warm meal in a cosy setting is an absolute treat. Sharing a quality meal with friends is already topnotch, but finishing with a party after it makes it even better!”
Brasa is a pretty ‘summery’ concept. People often associate BBQ’ing with summer, right? What makes Brasa a winter favourite as well?
“I don’t think barbecue is related to a season, but rather to the vibe of the fire and the feeling it creates. It’s about outdoor cooking and allows us to try multiple preparations, including more winter-type dishes. I would even say it is extra cosy when it’s cold and snowing -
the barbecue and its flames bring an extra layer of warmth. Gathering with friends and good food around a fire is sublime, even, or especially, in the snow.”
Do you feel like everyone, meat eaters and non-meat eaters alike, will leave Brasa with a happy belly?
“Fish, meat and vegetables can all be prepared to perfection on a barbecue. Regardless of season, the barbecue lends itself to all kinds of preparations that cater to everyone’s preferences. There are so many fun dishes to try with vegetables, especially on a barbecue!”

PARQUE MAEDA - ITU, SÃO PAULO
Oh saudade, Brasil! The feeling of coming home has rarely ever been sweeter and more heart-warming. For those lucky enough to experience it firsthand, you know there’s no exaggeration here. The love between Tomorrowland and Brazil runs deep, with a long and strong history. Last year, that love story reached new heights with the return to Parque Maeda, Itu, of ‘The Reflection of Love.’
Tomorrowland Brasil returned to São Paolo after a long hiatus, bringing back the love it had felt so strongly years earlier. From Brazilians to globetrotting festivallovers alike, everyone gathered to dance, connect and unite as the world’s best artists reigned the stages. Not a soul was left untouched!
Let’s briefly reflect on the love story between Tomorrowland and Brazil. Cast your mind back to 2015, when Tomorrowland Brasil burst onto the scene in Itu, São Paulo, for the first three days of May. The legendary ‘Book of Wisdom’ Mainstage made its way from Belgium to the lush and green scenery of Parque Maeda, playing host to over 180,000 People of Tomorrow. For three unforgettable days, love, music, and unity reigned supreme, etching memories into the hearts of all who attended.
Fast forward to 2016, and the magic continued from April 21st to 23rd, as Parque Maeda once again opened its arms to over 180,000 beautiful souls. Against the backdrop of the iconic 'Key to Happiness' Mainstage, the air thrummed with euphoria as electronic beats pulsed through day and night, unlocking tales of joy and jubilation.
After that came a long period of longing… but finally, in 2023, prayers were answered as Tomorrowland Brasil returned from October 12th to 14th, reclaiming its place at Parque Maeda in Itu, São Paulo. With the everso-fitting theme ‘The Reflection of Love,’ the festival became a beacon of unity and positivity, drawing People of Tomorrow from every corner of the globe for three days of pure magic from a collection of the best electronic artists.
Whether you were among the lucky people who made it to one of the Brazilian chapters in person or not, you can relive the enchantment of Tomorrowland Brasil 2023 by immersing yourself in the love, music, and unforgettable moments online. TWO DECADES OF YOUR FAVOURITE FESTIVAL
Twenty years of Tomorrowland: it really is hard to fathom. How did that happen? To the People of Tomorrow, it definitely feels like the festival was destined to come into existence, as from the first edition onwards, uniting forever has been a key element of our collective mission. Besides the ever-pulsating grooves, it is the eternal spirit of kindness engrained in the Holy Grounds, the enormous energy and the birth of many friendships that draws ravers to the festival again and again. We’re celebrating twenty editions of Tomorrowland Belgium this year, and we take pride in each and every one of them. Let’s take a moment to reflect on where we’ve come from and on how things are getting better every time around.
Axwell /\ Ingrosso’s appearance in 2016 ranks high on many people’s lists for its monumental quality.
Tomorrowland started as a one-day event in 2005 at De Schorre in Belgium, where the festival still returns every year to this day. 9000 lucky ravers were able to tell their children: I was there, at the very first edition of Tomorrowland. Five years later, in 2010, the total number of visitors had already increased twentyfold to 180,000 visitors across two weekends. By 2014, Tomorrowland had become a festival spanning two weekends, catering to 540,000 ravers from all over the world.
THE THEMES AND THE MAINSTAGE
Tomorrowland’s very first theme saw the light in 2009, which was mostly reflected in the design of the Mainstage, but felt all across all of the festival. Since them, The Book of Wisdom, The Elixir of Life and The Story of Planaxis have been only a few of the highlights. This year, Tomorrowland Winter takes you back in time, as what you see and feel is inspired by 2017’s Amoricum Spectaculum, one of the most mythical themes in the history of Tormorrowland. The theme of Tomorrowland Belgium, taking place this July, will be LIFE.
THE SHOWS
Of course, there have been countless gigs and top-notch shows over the years, and each and every one of you will have their own personal highlights. There are some key moments, however, that you may still hear people talk about every now and then… Axwell /\ Ingrosso’s appearance in 2016, for instance, ranks high on many people’s lists for its monumental quality, and so do the numerous Mainstage performances by the ever-inspiring Martin Garrix. Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike’s anthems and their outrageously entertaining shows will never be forgotten and the same goes for – on the otherend of the spectrum – Nina Kraviz’ infectiously experimental yet fashionable DJ booth appearances.
THE FLAGS
Bringing a flag is the thing to do at Tomorrowland. It’s festive, shows your dedication (you’ve travelled far) and there is no easier way to spot fellow citizens of your country than by taking a good look at their flags. Flags make it easier to meet people and show how international this festival has really become over the years. And don’t forget there is one flag that’s even more special than the national flags: the official Tomorrowland flag, available from the Official Stores across Tomorrowland Winter.
TOMORROWLAND BRASIL AND TOMORROWLAND WINTER
After two festival editions in 2015 and 2016, Tomorrowland made its spectacular return to Latin America’s biggest country only a few months back, in October 2023. The country is absolutely crazy about electronic music and with so many artists – including Alok, Vintage Culture and ANNA – calling the territory home, this is a box that just had to be ticked again.
2019 saw the very first edition of Tomorrowland Winter, in the very same location where you find yourself right now. This is a festival tailor-made for you, the raving skier or snowboarder. Tomorrowland Winter represents one of the most unique festival experiences in the world, where artists and dancers share the slopes before they hit the many dance floors found between the top of the mountain and the Alpine village of Alpe d’Huez.
There’s never been a better time to be alive than today if you love Tomorrowland.
MORE FEMALE ARTISTS THAN EVER
The rise of female artists is currently better reflected than it ever has been on Tomorrowland’s line-ups. With a strong generation of women artists coming from the festival’s homebase Belgium including Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens and Amber Broos, it only makes sense that we’re getting closer and closer to 50/50 representation on the bill. Look forward to sets by Nina Kraviz, Brina Knauss, Amber Broos, Bibi Seck, MATTN, Nina Black, Sama' Abdulhadi and ANNA during this edition of Tomorrowland Winter!
TOMORROWLAND AS A 360 WAY OF LIFE
There’s never been a better time to be alive than today if you love Tomorrowland through and through. Listening to your favourite Tomorrowland sets and interview highlights is now possible all year long; all you need to do is tune into One World Radio, no matter where you are in the world. If you want to get even closer to the sound of Tomorrowland, there’s a whole discography of works to check out from Tomorrowland Music, the festival’s very own record label. Those who’d like to sample the festival’s vibes in close proximity to palmlined beaches are also in luck: you just order tickets to the Tomorrowlandcurated nights at Ushuaïa in Ibiza, head to the Great Library of Tomorrow in Barcelona or reserve your accommodation at Dubai’s magical Terra Solis resort, designed and curated by… you’ve guessed it: your favourite festival. If you love Tomorrowland, you’re living the dream in 2024.
ZEPHYR II: LOOK OUT FOR IT!
Zephyr II is Tomorrowland’s very own mythical balloon, delivering the most magnificent views in the entire Rhône-Alpes region. It is a swiftly traveling flying object and serves as your beloved festival’s very own guardian angel. Everything’s gonna be alright! Decorated with the Tomorrowland Flag design, Zephyr II is hard to miss once you know what to look out for. Getting excited? Why not take a selfie with your favourite friendly aircraft! Or check out zephyr.tomorrowland.com as Zephyr II is available for private flights in different locations across the world. Imagine that!
BAOBAB: TOMORROWLAND’S SCENTED CANDLES

The Baobab X Tomorrowland scented candles are definitely on the shortlist! The collection comes in Tomorrowland-inspired, Art Nouveau-style packaging, with elements of nature including flowers, butterflies, leaves and plants present in the design. The signature scent of the series was designed by Tomorrowland in close collaboration with a team of renowned perfumers, based in France’s perfume capital Grasse. For another peak moment, Belgium’s youngest rave hero Amber Broos collaborated with electro band The Subs to create the aptlynamed track ‘The Pulse’: a hedonistic anthem reminiscent of Detroit’s mysterious Underground Resistance collective. ANGELIC ROOTS
How to honour your favourite festival’s quintessentially Belgian roots proudly in the French Alps? There is only one right way: you head straight to the Belgian Beer Bar by Victoria. Although just a speck on the world map, Tomorrowland’s country of origin is famous for a number of things: chocolate, an iconic festival you may have heard of, and indeed, beer. Victoria is the strong and refreshing blonde beer par excellence, brewed in honour of the victory in 1695 of the Archangel Saint Michael, who defended Brussels against the foces of evil. This blonde beer defends the centuries-old Belgian brewing heritage with its 100% natural ingredients and its second fermentation in the bottle. Find the Belgian Beer Bar right across from the main festival entrance.

Developing artists have always had the interest of Tomorrowland. It isn’t just the big names you’ll see on the line-up; young, inventive and energetic artists populate every single festival bill. What you will learn during the workshops
DJ’ing requires skills, and Tomorrowland Academy will teach you some of the basics during their immersive, two hour-long courses at Cage, the Tomorrowland stage that resembles an underground club, the kind of place where our beloved culture of electronic music once began. It is also the place where your journey starts! The tutors will teach you the basics of beat matching, hot cueing, the use of effects, reading the crowd and how to generate happiness among your listeners by mixing your tracks harmonically.
Your instructors are all on the line-up
This is exactly why taking a course at Tomorrowland is a good idea. Not only do you work on your skills, it is also a way to meet cool people! Every single teacher also performs during the festival. Let us introduce them to you: HYALYTE is known for his Soundcloud edits representing Global Club music. Fellow Belgian Lennert Wolfs is still an up-andcomer, but won’t be for long; his music gets support from DJ Snake, Don Diablo, Tiësto and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.
Sem Thomasson has been on Tomorrowland’s line-ups since 2010 and is known for having remixed Lost Frequencies, Steve Aoki, Clean Bandit, Flo Rida and Nelly Furtado. EWave, a.k.a. Fabio Freire, has a number of Tomorrowland Winter shows to his name and knows the way of snowy beats like no other. Last but not least, Jorn Pricez walks the fine line between house and tech-house and counts CORE among his favourite stages to play. And then, Laidback Luke won’t be tutoring in Alpe d’Huez, but he is always on the look-out for new talent, so don’t be surprised if you find him trying to catch your eye…
Improve your skills online
Don’t worry if you’re not a morning person or if your workshop slot of choice is fully booked. Head to academy.tomorrowland.com to read about the endless online tutoring opportunities available via the Academy’s €15 monthly subscription and pay-as-you-go packages. Much more than solely a platform for DJ and production courses, Tomorrowland Academy also offers incredible sample packages to spark your creativity.
the stages explained
You’ve been to a festival before, but this one doesn’t look like anything you’ve seen so far. It’s snow covered mountains as far as the eye can see – will there really be lots of festival stages in the valleys and on the peaks? You bet there will! Even better: all of the areas can be reached by easier routes as well as ski lifts, so you can go anywhere you like even if you’re new to skiing. Fancy raving on the top of the mountain? Want to know more about the Mainstage? Reading the descriptions below will give you a sneak peek into what you’re about to experience.
moose bar
Dedicated après-ski raver, you will remember this bar from your wildest dreams. Or: from previous Tomorrowland editions. Here’s the deal: it’s Tyroler vibes looks-wise, lots of beer booze-wise and the best party-minded electronic music sound-wise. Disclaimer: the music may come with a little silly twist here and there. Think house, hardstyle or EDM with odd sound effects, played by dedicated selectors of silliness including Funkhauser and Jeroen Visser.
Saturday to Monday 19:00 - 00:00
Tuesday to Friday 19:00 - 02:00
core
CORE’s majestic visage – the upward-facing beacon of serenity you may have seen at Tomorrowland Belgium or in one of the many videos online – will be waiting for you amidst the winter wonderland that is Alpe d’Huez. We’re telling you: to see it in this wholly different setting is going to be something else. Expect the very best leftfield club sounds by the likes of DJ Boring, Nina Kraviz and Dino Lenny.
Saturday to Monday 19:00 - 00:00
Tuesday to Friday 18:45 - 01:00
mainstage
The absolute highlight of Alpe d’Huez village is of course Tomorrowland’s magnificent Mainstage. You may remember this year’s theme, Amoricum Spectaculum, from 2017’s Belgium edition. It is a tale about getting together with the people you love the most – and among them may be brand new friends you’ve never met before. So how will all of this be visualised in Alpe d’Huez? All we can say is that this world-class stage is by far the biggest venue in the Alps!
Tuesday to Friday: 19:00 - 02:00
cage
So you’re into classic gritty clubs? Cage is your go-to underground techno club in the snowy French Alps, serving a wide range of ravers. An unlikely place for a club it is, which makes it even more special that we get to enjoy it. An impression? Think lots of darkness with a little light effect here and there to enhance the mystery of it all. Dress up or stay ski-casual, we’ll leave it up to you. Skillful DJs playing pounding beats at Cage include Yves DeRuyter, Laidback Luke and Sub Zero Project.
Saturday to Monday 19:00 - 00:00
Tuesday to Friday 20:00 - 02:00
top of the mountain
There’s nothing like the world’s highest stage at a staggering 3300 metres above sea level; it’s a spectacular place that has no equal in the Alps. And, hint hint, it’s probably the best place to propose to your partner if you have any plans in that direction. It’s a bit of a road trip to get to the Top of the Mountain, but the frosty rave you’ll encounter once you’ve arrived is absolutely unique.
Wednesday to Friday 11:00 - 16:00
friends of tomorrowland by coke studio
A cozy little area where the unexpected is to be expected. The stage’s line-ups consist of a range of open-minded friends of Tomorrow including Chris McCann, Bobbi Antonni and Jerome B, who spin mostly multi-genre club music.
Saturday to Monday 12:00 - 16:00
Tuesday to Friday 12:00 - 16:30
crystal garden
All the way from Tomorrowland’s Terra Solis in Dubai to the Alps come the gorgeous LED-fueled decor pieces that bring Crystal Garden to life. With a capacity for no less than 4000 ravers, Crystal Garden is the largest Tomorrowland Winter stage at the higher altitudes. The experience probably comes pretty close to what you envisioned when you got your tickets: this is raving with your sunglasses on, a mulled wine in your hand, overlooking the valley of Alpe d’Huez and beyond.
Saturday to Monday 12:00 - 16:30
Tuesday to Friday 12:00 - 17:30
frozen lotus
A gorgeous stage that symbolises the very early beginnings of spring, Frozen Lotus shows how nature and the seasons are part of an ongoing continuum; the fact that flowers survive even snow and frost proves that life is strong. Frozen Lotus is also a gastronomical hub in Alpe d’Huez, where you can enjoy a refined lunch, then slowly recover from the food before you start the dance. The line-up for Frozen Lotus is equally tasty with Konstantin Sibold, Like Mike, Brina Knauss and many others.
Saturday to Monday 12:00 - 16:30
Tuesday to Friday 12:00 - 17:30
reflection of love
2022’s theme, The Reflection of Love, turned out to be one of the most popular ever, and so little bits and pieces of it are back this year in the Alps. Expect a wide range of beats and grooves played by One World Radio presenter of the first hour Adam K, tropical house don Felix Jaehn, drum & bass producer Andromedik, and Dutch house mavericks Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano.
Saturday to Tuesday 12:00 - 16:30
Wednesday to Friday 12:00 - 17:30
l’aventure
You’ve guessed it, L’Aventure is where the adventurers go. And an adventurer you can call yourself, so far away from home and so high up in the sky! Everything is adventurous about this place: the high altitude, the hearty French cuisine, the boissons and, exclusively during Tomorrowland Winter, the cutting-edge and fun-loving club music, brought to you by Bivouac Sound System, Mathadis, Loic Lac, Thomas M and others.
Saturday to Monday 12:00 - 16:00
Tuesday to Friday 12:00 - 16:30

WEDNESDAY 22:00 –23:00 | MAINSTAGE (b2b Konstantin Sibold)
Synergy is a cherished phenomenon in which the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. It happens sporadically, but when it does, it is magical. And as it happens, Kevin de Vries and Konstantin Sibold’s b2b set at Tomorrowland’s CORE stage in 2022 stands as a key example of musical synergy. Both the artists involved and the ravers who witnessed it still talk about it to this day. Let’s invite back that winning team, Tomorrowland must have thought, and here they are performing together once again, on Tomorrowland Winter’s mythical Mainstage on Wednesday. We had the pleasure to talk to one of these two legends: Afterlife signee Kevin de Vries.
“living in berlin helped me a lot to find my own sound.”
How do you look back on that legendary set with Konstantin Sibold at CORE?
“We’ve been playing b2b sets for a few years now and we are eager to improve ourselves and get better every time. We love challenges and playing different venues, but always try to deliver the same energy. What helps is that we have a great bond and friendship in place, which makes it easier for us to understand each other while playing. During this particular set at CORE, lots of things came together, and that moment when the fireworks took off… I will never forget this one!”
What have you got in store for Tomorrowland Winter’s Mainstage on Wednesday?
“This is a big honour for us and we immediately accepted the challenge. We simply can’t wait for this show. We will play, as always, some unreleased tracks and of course some of our own productions. The Mainstage last year was a spectacular sight. I can’t wait to see what it looks like this year.”
How did you and Konstantin get acquainted?
“When I started to release my first tracks, Konstantin was already a successful touring DJ on the back of releasing his tracks ‘Mutter’ and ‘Madeleine’. I listened to his tracks in clubs as other DJs played them and became a fan of his work. At some point I reached out and we started sending each other music, following that up with feedback sessions. He then remixed my track ‘Sciamachy’ in 2018, which was my first release on Afterlife.”
You are based in Berlin, one of the key techno cities in the world. How does that work for you inspiration-wise?
“I lived in Berlin for the past eight years and it has had a major influence on myself and my sound throughout the years. Having so many amazing clubs and venues in one city is overwhelming. I moved to Berlin to chase my musical dreams. It was the perfect place to go out and network, meet other artists and observe DJs playing extended sets for up to nine or ten hours. Inspiration comes from all these aspects, and it all helped me a lot to find my own sound.”
Can there be such a thing as being surrounded by too much techno? Have you ever experienced an overkill?
“When I moved to Berlin I didn’t think so. I was a bit younger and loved going out. Now, eight years later, I am very grateful to have a busy schedule of shows but I always seek some quiet time in between them. It’s very important for people in our industry to look out for each other and to always take breaks.”
You’ve now come to the point in your career where people say your sets are among their very favourites. How does that feel and what would you like to say to the people giving you all of this praise?
“This means a lot to me and I’m very grateful for it. I put a lot of time and energy into the curation of my sets, so having this kind of feedback is just amazing, and it motivates me to keep doing what I do.”
One of the first female techno DJs to become a global superstar, Nina Kraviz is also what you wouldn’t expect an ambassador of the genre to be. She was among the first to bring the non-obvious acid-tinged club sounds of house music’s unsung Chicago heroes to Tomorrowland, and included electro oddities from the Dutch West Coast city of The Hague in her sets before anyone else came up with the idea. Half a decade ago, Nina started incorporating elements of psytrance in her sets, a genre that wasn’t taken seriously until then by the ever-critical and sometimes overly serious techno elite. Being not only a gifted DJ but also an inspiring selector, she presents all of these sounds and sometimes a blend of them, to the world via her unique трип (Trip) imprint. It is on this very platform that she releases her own productions, alongside the works of Population One, Indira Paganotto and – most prominently – Vladimir Dubyshkin. For Nina, artistry is limitless and without taboos, and so it is that we will witness her play lots of Latin-influenced electronic music during her CORE set on Wednesday.
nina kraviz
“i cannot resist playing tracks that i downloaded or even made five minutes before my set.”
What do you see as the most exciting development in electronic music in the past few years?
“In the past couple years it has definitely been Brazilian and Latin American electronic music in general.”
One of the things we have seen is that the pounding basslines of psytrance entered the realms of techno. How do you reflect on that?
“When I first dropped psytrance in one of my festival sets around 2018, it sounded really fresh to me. In the meantime I have mostly been excited about playing a techno kick drum that hasn’t become a thing yet. It’s quite encouraging.”
What qualities are you looking for when searching for new artists to sign to Trip?
“Musically, it needs to have ‘that special something’: a sound that’s unique, that resonates with me. On a personal level, I really appreciate high-voltage creative people with lots of character.”
WEDNESDAY 23:30 - 01:00 | CORE
Vladimir Dubyshkin seems to be one of the key artists on the label. What is it that you appreciate so much in his work?
“He sounds like nobody else does and never models himself upon others. You always know it when you are listening to a Dubyshkin track.”
You seem to constantly refresh your ‘record bag’ while touring. Is it hard to always find new suitable stuff to play or does it come naturally without much effort?
“I stopped touring with vinyl some time ago and now I cannot resist playing tracks that I downloaded or even made five minutes before my set.”
Are there any records that never leave your ‘bag’? Which records are those and why do you love them so much?
“There is one track that I have been playing for many years that still sounds as nasty as it did when I first played it. It’s by DJ Slugo and the title is ‘Wouldn’t You Like to Be a Hoe Too’?”
Which are your favourite local music styles at the moment?
“Colombian Uwuaracha and Brazilian electronic music. I just collaborated with a funk artist and Rio de Janeiro native called MC Nick and with a Colombian artist, Aleroj. Hopefully I will release that work soon.”
What does a typical Nina Kraviz Tomorrowland Winter set sound like? Can you give your dancers something to look forward to?
“Well, it is only going to be the second time that I’m going to perform at Tomorrowland Winter. Last year I played loads of house in my set. This year it will be a lot more Latin.”
Will you pick up skis or a snowboard yourself during your stay in Alpe d’Huez?
“Most probably!”

amber broos
THURSDAY 21:30 – 23:00 | CAGE
Combining the vintage with the futuristic and the melodic with the banging, Belgian DJ/producer Amber Broos has proven to be a true master at creating unforgettable memories on the dance floor. Having sold out her very first headline show at Antwerp’s Waagnatie last October, the youthful One World Radio presenter has slowly but surely become a force to be reckoned with. Her set in the dark depths of the Cage, this Thursday at 21:30, is not to be missed for fans of house and techno alike. Let’s hear what she’s got to say.
“my journey as a dj/producer has been incredibly rewarding, filled with memorable highlights that have fuelled my passion for music even further.”
The past few years saw you develop rapidly as a DJ/producer. What have been some of your personal highlights?
“Over the past few years, my journey as a DJ/producer has been incredibly rewarding, filled with memorable highlights that have fuelled my passion for music even further. One of the most unforgettable moments was undoubtedly playing the Mainstage of Tomorrowland last year. It was a surreal experience to perform in front of such an enthusiastic and energetic crowd. Another standout moment was hosting my own show at the Waagnatie in Antwerp. Being able to see it come to life was a dream come true. Seeing the crowd enjoying the music was particularly gratifying.”
When producing tracks, how do you work? Do you always have the dance floor in mind when you work on music?
“Whenever I’m producing tracks, my approach is rooted in both creativity and audience connection. I strive to strike a balance between staying true to my artistic vision and considering the dance floor experience. I make music that aligns with my own vibe and my style as an artist, but I also keep my audience in mind throughout the process. For me, it’s essential that the tracks I create seamlessly integrate into my DJ sets. I want each track to enhance the overall atmosphere and energy of the dance floor, to create moments that resonate with the crowd.”
You have a monthly show on One World Radio. What is it you do during these radio shows?
“Hosting my monthly show ‘Sorry for the Noise’ on One World Radio is an incredible opportunity for me to connect with listeners and share my passion for music with
them. Sorry for the Noise serves as an extension of my DJ sets. I strive to bring a mix of new releases alongside timeless classics, bridging the gap between past and present while keeping the energy high throughout the show. I also support up-and-coming talents within the electronic music scene and I feature their tracks during the show. I love surprising my listeners with tracks that I’ve discovered: a hidden gem from a lesser-known artist or a great remix that caught my ear.”
You love playing techno edits of famous chart hits during your sets. What has been one of your recent favourites and why?
“There have been quite a few techno edits that I’ve been playing recently, but one that stands out for me is The Subs’ remix of Push Up by Creeds. I loved playing this track during my set at Tomorrowland Brazil, it always delivers an incredible response from the crowd. The Subs’ most recent album is packed with extremely good edits.”
Tomorrowland Winter isn’t just about music, it’s also about skiing and snowboarding. Is this something you’re into yourself?
“For me, Tomorrowland Winter offers the perfect blend of two of my favourite things: music and skiing. Hitting the slopes during the day and then dancing the night away to incredible music is absolutely fantastic. Plus, the energy of the festival extends beyond the music stages and into the ski slopes, creating an incredibly fun experience. As for snowboarding, I’ve actually never tried it, but I’m definitely intrigued. Who knows, maybe this year will be the perfect opportunity to give it a shot!”

felix ja ehn
FRIDAY 21:00 – 2200 | MAINSTAGE
German producer Felix Jaehn stands out when it comes to building bridges between artists, genres and fans. Part of his career was built on bringing new life to classic pop and soul tracks, famously including Chaka Khan’s ‘Ain’t Nobody’. Felix continued to serve ravers and casual music fans alike throughout his career, as he collaborated with mainstream and urban artists including Jamaican singer Omi and U.S. rapper Gucci Mane. Sit back a moment while you take in Felix’ heartfelt reflections on life as an international touring artist.
“it just turns out that i love the combination of pop and electronic so much that i’m just living it.”
You were already travelling the world as a touring artist at the age when most people start figuring out what it’s like to go out and rave. What has that been like for you?
“It has definitely been challenging in a way. When I was 18 years old, I lived in London and I went to lots of clubs and got inspired. Just a year later I was suddenly travelling the world to play shows and doing everything that comes with that. A few years ago, I started going out a lot more, just to get inspired and listen to what other DJs are doing, especially in the underground. It’s always been very important for me to also be on the dance floor and feel the crowd, to be the crowd, to understand how the dynamic works and to learn to play the right record at the right time as a DJ.”
How do you balance your private life now with life as a touring artist?
“During my busy years I played up to one hundred shows each year. I really don’t want to go back to that intense touring schedule because it’s been way too much for me. I found the right balance for myself by playing less shows. This year I’m looking at roughly fifteen gigs, so I am only focusing on the big shows like Tomorrowland, which is probably the most exciting one. Of course I’ll play some big shows in my home country of Germany, too. And then I also want to do some shows for the queer community.”
Being a touring artist, is it easier to be single or to be in a relationship and why?
“To say whatever is easier is hard. I’m definitely a person looking for deep meaningful
relationships and romantic love. I’m also poly and I never really stay in one place. So, I guess in my relationships, it’s just important to communicate very openly and up front. To be honest, I think this is important in any type of relationship, just to level out expectations.”
Club music and pop music blend perfectly in your work. What do you love so much about the combination?
“I’m a pop bitch. I’ve always loved pop music. I like singing along. I like melodies. I like chords. I like the emotions that pop music triggers in me and I like screaming them out and sharing them with the crowd. Plus, I love dance music. I listen to lots of instrumental music and I love to completely nerd out, listening to synthesizers and drums and letting them tell the story. It turns out that I love this combination so much that I’m just living it. I love it.”
What can we expect from you music-wise in 2024?
“I’m working on some more fast records, in that trancey hardtechno kind of style. I found my own melodic pop approach to this sound, calling it happy rave. The track ‘Weekends’ which I did with Jonas Blue is an example of it. There’s a new one dropping very soon with Don Diablo which I’m super excited about, too. Then I’m also working on some straight-up pop songs around 126 to 128 BPM. Lastly, I’m rediscovering the 2012 to 2015 melodic deep house vibes. I feel like it’s time to bring them back.”
