AUDACIOUS ENTERPRISES You haven’t been everywhere yet, but there are still so many stages on your list! Today is your last chance to step out of your comfort zone and dive into the uncharted depths of musical variety Tomorrowland has to offer. Get lost at the Mosaic-hosted House of Books to be swayed away by DJ Koze’s psychedelic perfection. Find your way to the Cubanisto stage, where the deephouse of Kapibara will transport you to the Amazon. Right next door you can enter the domain of Pryda, where legends like deadmau5 will take over the LED-covered Freedom stage. But be sure to be back on time at the Mainstage to finish this year together, to the sight of bursting fireworks and the sounds of Martin Garrix!
dreamers & sky-stormers,

Little lambs of Harmony, delightful dancing dollies, it seems to Triboulet that you have mastered the terrain. By now you know every nook and cranny, every hidey-hole for naughty critters. And my friends have taught you more. Ekatarina instructed you at dancing, Raya told your future, Ernesto made music with you. You know all the funny customs of Tomorrow now. Triboulet wants you to claim Tomorrow as your own today, funny friends. Laugh – ha-ha-ha – in the face of your hangover! Skip and bumble – tat-tat-tat – from your tent into the showers! Now, you’re Triboulet’s fresh friends, and you can dance – hop-hop-hop – your way onto the Mainstage. Having fun? Feeling good? Then talk! Bla-bla-bla, grab a stranger by the shoulder, tell them stories and a joke. Mayhap you’ll be rewarded with a kiss, and if not, strut away towards the next stage. At every turn you’ll find some wonder, a person to play with or a creature to see. Attach your strings everywhere, and take them to hand! It’s the last chance you’ll get before Tomorrowland’s end. A BEAUTIFUL MORNING
DREAMVILLE’S GETTING DRESSED Just when the sky starts to lighten up on this dreary Saturday morning, we sneak onto the campsite to look for those innocent morning rituals. The sun is climbing the heavens, the music starts playing, and the inhabitants of DreamVille start showing their most natural side. It’s like bird-spotting in a forest at dawn: no filter, no preparations, just the real faces of the People of Tomorrow. Some prefer to warm up for the day in DreamVille’s gym, others prefer to laze about and watch the more energetic ones sweat yesterday’s drinks away. This is the morning of DreamVille!
Alex from Mexico “Do we have to do this now? I’m not feeling too well, to be honest, I just woke up. And yes, this is my out of bed look. I’m still processing what happened last night. Do they sell tacos in the Chillout?”
CAREFREE TRAVELS
Hey there, travellers from beyond the borders of Tomorrowland! A bit tired, are you? A bit worn out by all the madness that has been happening around you for the past weekend? Maybe you’re looking up against packing your bags and carrying your stuff all the way back to the bus and then to the terminal? Brussels Airlines to the rescue! Tomorrowland’s Global Journey partner has got your back as they’ll carry your luggage from DreamVille to your final destination - for free! If you’re taking a Brussels Airlines flight, travelling to a European destination without a connecting flight, staying at DreamVille, and if your flight is leaving after 14:00 then you (and your tired legs, arms and bodies) are in for a real treat! Your careless weekend is about to get stretched just a wee bit longer as you can just walk out without carrying anything more than your hand luggage. How does it work? Easy: when you’ve packed your bags and tents on Monday, enter the remote drop- off at DreamVille Entrance 1 between 8:30 and 13:30 and at least 4 hours before departure of your flight and keep your boarding pass ready. Keep your boarding pass ready; a (mobile) boarding pass is an absolute necessity to use and enjoy this service. When you’ve got yourself a Global Journey ticket you’ll automatically receive your boarding passes 24 hours before departure.

Godfrey from India “Yes, a lot of bracelets, and they are taken care of very well. I only wear them to festivals; at home I take them off and wash them. Pro tip: stop drinking early enough to go to your tent sober, otherwise you just miss too much!”

Once you’ve dropped off your stuff, be on your merry way! Remember to arrive at the airport at least one hour before departure for Schengen flights and at least two hours for nonSchengen flights. This’ll help you get checked in and pass security without having to rush anything. So – goodbye to your luggage, enjoy a carefree journey and meetbelgium your bags again at the reclaim belt at your final destination.

4. “At the end of the day and tired of the glitters? Don’t use make-up remover. Instead, take a piece of clear tape. Gently press it on the glittery part and pull those sparkles right off.”
2. “If you had a particularly fun night that went on into the early morning and feel your eyes getting a bit droopy, use a concealer. It’s a quick fix for bags under your eyes, for example. But you really want to combat that morning face by giving your best features some attention. Got nice cheekbones? Put some shine on them. Beautiful eyes? Put some glitter on them. Sascha & Jana from Germany “It’s Jana’s first festival ever, and it’s not the least... The fireworks, the Ferris wheel and the newspaper every morning all help to build the magic Tomorrowland is known for.”
CHILL OUT AND RECHARGE In the middle of DreamVille, hidden in the woods, Tomorrowland has placed an area to give your inner self some extra attention. Take a moment to rest, to recharge or to slowly sip away your first beer of the day in one of the hammocks. Sweat out yesterday’s alcohol and invite your neighbours to play a volleyball game. Prefer to keep it a bit more relaxed? The Chillout’s yoga classes will help you relocate your balance and align your body and soul for the last day of Tomorrowland. At the Chillout, we meet Michael and Josh from Ohio, USA, who know exactly what to do here. “We already got here last night and we knew we had to go back in the morning. It’s just perfect, sitting here with a little breeze blowing away the hangover, enjoying our first drink, having a good breakfast and reading the fresh newspaper. It truly feels like home, but better! The festival has only just begun, but we’ve already helped out with a marriage proposal and we’re having the best time of our lives. Resting is important, though. Missing one set won’t kill you; you need to stay hydrated and stay with your friends in order to survive a weekend of Tomorrowland. Come join us in the Chillout tomorrow morning and you will make the best of the day!” Get your stretching in with the Chillout yoga classes, under the expert guidance of yoga expert Goedele Leyssen.
SUNDAY SCHEDULE This is the schedule for the DreamVille gym. A training lasts 45 min. with a break of 15 min.
On Sunday (10h30 - 12h00) the yoga class is supoorted by soundhealer Andy VanBeveren, who’ll untangle all that’s wrapped up inside you with the power of sound.

“Look, this is a six, but it’s actually higher, it’s a nine. Like, if you turn it around. It means you will lift up to higher levels this weekend! And the shapes of these hearts, they look a bit like the bosom of a beautiful woman, or if you turn it around, you see her bottom. Hmmm. Look, you will see a lot of attractive girls at this festival, that’s clear. And you will find them in the… clubs!”
“A queen, a king and an eight! You’ve found your queen already, and together you form a royal couple. That’s a stable love life. But this is the eight of clubs, it’s a magic card... It’s dangerous! It’s the future! It stands for searching for the edges of existence, it’s why you are at Tomorrowland. Here, a lot of unexpected encounters are to be found. And be prepared for more, this card predicts that together, we will visit eight festivals this summer!”
Job & Marcus, netherlands & norway
TOMORROW’S CLAIRVOYANTS During this Amicorum Spectaculum, we’re overwhelmed by the occult and esoteric. Dwelling on these Holy Grounds, in the mesmerising presence of Raya, our senses are sharpened and squinting our eyes, we can look beyond the present and into the future. Most of the People of Tomorrow aren’t aware of their own newly gained powers, so we went around the festival grounds in search of these wizards-in-the-making. Their assignment? Look deep into this deck of cards, glare into the unknown, and predict the future of your companion. After some hesitation, we see the skills of these clairvoyants increase, their hands rapidly shuffling the cards while they connect to higher dimensions. Their eyes widen and flicker with renewed vigour. With a new voice, as if hypnotised, they start mumbling, increasing in volume and clarity with every word. Love, it seems, is the overarching theme of the messages the universe has in store for them. Let’s find out about the future!
“These cards speak about the near future. You’re here to find your love queen too. But wait – is it a clown? – no, I misread, it is a woman after all! You will have eight one night stands in these three days before you’ll meet her. But, oh no, these cards are all black, it’s a dark future… Daunting, evil. I see a woman who will haunt you at night, whom you will fantasize about without ever getting the actual satisfaction of touching her.”
“If you add this 9 to this 6, it’s 15, and if you subtract that from 40 you get 25, right? So you lost your virginity when you were 25! For sure, it’s what the card reads. But there’s more to your love life in the future… Woosh! You see? You are the queen and that is your king, of hearts! It means you will have nine lovers of which six will mistreat you, before you find your king. When you’re a senior citizen, however, you will become bored of that man and travel the world!”

“We are Tomorrowland! We are the future! Ah, let’s take a look at te cards. You will have three kids, they’re all girls, a beautiful mix of Chilean and Columbian. Look, you’re living in an enormous villa in the forests. Underneath the trees, I see you running around with your kids. And this card… Wait, let’s hold it towards the sky. I see brightness. You’re a bright person and you have a bright future, man!”
“Santiago, you’re going to spend a lot of diamonds, look at all of them! And I see us, on your side, that’s the jack of spades, wingmanning you while you hunt for this beautiful girl. It’s an Asian girl, Japanese to be precise. It will be quite some effort, but eventually you’ll take her back to DreamVille and get lucky. What an amazing prospect!”
Santiago & Alejandro, colombia “I see an enormous castle! Within five years you will live there, Bruna, and you’ll be the king of the castle! Nine of clubs… Well, there are nine clubs here on Tomorrowland that you will visit. The jack of hearts – a real stud will fall madly in love with you in one of them, so keep your eyes open. I see hearts everywhere! There is so much love, it’s just pure happiness, for me as well!”
“Put your hands here. Yes, grab a card. The diamonds symbolise wealth, but not money. This is the wealth of spirit and love. The ace can be a beginning as well as an end, a low card or a high card, and together they create a circle. It’s the circle of life, it’s Tomorrowland. And the joker will make it all come together, because she doesn’t want to leave this beautiful place. The joker stands for the memory, for having fun, a happy ending and shaping our own world. You’ve found your place here, Phileine, this is your destiny!
Phileine & Bruna, usa & australia “Well Nick, at first you will have a choice of three ladies, one of whom you will propose to, with this special diamond… You will live together in six houses, you will call her “Queenie,” as she is Dutch. But there’s a twist! When you retire at your 50th, you will discover that you’re gay and meet a guy called Jack. With him you’ll adopt six Nicaraguan kids and live happily ever after!”
“Okay John… You’re meeting a 26-year-old girl on this festival, dark skinned, she’s from Lebanon. And very soon you will make lovely children, one of whom you’re going to name Jack! These children are very fluffy and round with pointy noses. Together, you’ll travel through all of the seven big cities of Australia.”

THINGS TO DO BEFORE
TOMORROW DEAR PEOPLE OF TOMORROW, WE’D LIKE YOU TO TAKE A SECOND OF SILENCE, HAVE A LOOK AT YOURSELVES IN THE MIRROR AND ASK: HAVE I TAKEN EVERYTHING THERE IS TO TAKE OUT OF THIS WEEKEND OF MADNESS? YOU HAVEN’T, HAVE YOU? NO WORRIES, HERE’S SOME EXTRA TIPS AND TRICKS TO DRAIN EVERY LAST BIT OF MAGIC DUST OUT OF TOMORROWLAND. YOU’RE WELCOME!
GROW YOUR OWN Don’t spend too much time fumbling with razors, just let nature do its work and let it all grow nice and slowly. Just like the beautiful person in the picture did. Don’t be scared to show yourself the way you truly are. Because like the great philosopher Christina Aguilera once said: you are beautiful, in every single way.
STARSHIP TO THE MILKY WAY
Some of you might be leaving on an airplane, not knowing when you’ll be back again. We know you hate to go but alas, that’s reality. If reality itself is too twisted, though, why not escape this whole real world thing for good by transcending into the twilight zone of love and happiness that is Tomorrowland? If you’re up for a little trip through the milky way, sailing to those evergreen fields in the sky, we advise you to board the Zeppelin starship that has laid anchor right above the info stand. And it’s an actual star-sailing ship, none of that Star Wars cubist modern art stuff!
FIERY FISH It speaks for itself that we wouldn’t want anything bad to happen to you. (Well, except for getting blown away and torn to pieces by an excruciating warm flood of joy in its purest form, of course.) The Tomorrowland grounds are located on the fields of the city of Boom, surrounded by forests and dotted with lakes and swamps. And while in these forests the wildlife is king of the jungle, the little lakes you’ll find on the festival grounds are swarming amicorum spectaculum with Jaws-like sharks the size of buses! In order to scare them away Tomorrowland’s fire-breathing fish guard the LEAF stage day and night. You can go warm yourself to their flaming breath in the evening hours.

WANG DANG DOODLE We’ve read on social media and in other newspapers that Tomorrowland is a DJ’s festival. Fake news! Sure, there’s a more than fair amount of electronic artistry displayed here on the grounds of De Schorre, which may induce the impression that beats and glitches are all that is to be found here. Don’t get fooled by all these accusations because even the jazz-cats and blues boys amongst you can easily get their backs scratched. Wave those jazzhands, tip your hats, snap your fingers and wang dang doodle with the banjos and horns of the marching band. If you can find them, that is!
CATCH A KISS If you get the chance, make sure to catch a kiss from one of Tomorrowland’s many flower girls. If you don’t need it right away, put it away safely for later use, because these kisses are like bandages for the soul. If you’re ever hurt or feeling down, just unwrap one of the flower amicorum spectaculum girls’ kisses and you’ll instantly get your mojo back.
BIRDS, BEES, AND CRICKETS Sit on the grass near the Organ of Harmony and let the birds and the bees do their work. If there’s one thing you can say about the grass near the Organ, it’s that there’s zero chance of it being greener on the other side. So set your butt down on the green, green grass of your home away from home and lay down to belgium rest for a bit. But make sure you don’t fall asleep, or you might get a little visit from the birds and the bees (and the crickets) - if you know what we mean…

MISSING: MILK(A)MAN
Apart from the People of Tomorrow, Boom has some other unusual visitors. The sweet little Art for Thought (AfT) statuettes are the new inhabitants of the beautiful Tomorrowland grounds and seem to love it here, but they are lost! They’ve run away – we don’t know why, we guess they are shy – and now all we have left is this black silhouette. Can you find the full-colour statue on Tomorrowland Today’s pages, or on the festival itself? Take your most creative selfie with it, send it to today@tomorrowland.com, and we’ll announce today’s winner in tonight’s paper.
A CHAMBER OF SECRETS LIFE HAPPENS. CHOCOLATE HELPS. Your mom is angry with you? Get a piece of chocolate. Your boyfriend left you? Get a big piece of chocolate. No ticket for Tomorrowland? Get all the chocolate you can find. Not enough likes on your latest Instagram picture? Get a life.
Is it a clue? Is it a distraction? How on Earth does this work? What’s that noise? Experience the mysterious T-Escape room by Lipton yourself today. You only get 15 minutes, so hurry up. Time’s running out. But there’s a free pitcher of delicious ice tea mix drinks waiting for you just out that door! You can do this. Follow your gut, find a way out. Use whatever’s at hand to your advantage, it’s not as hard as it seems. Challenge yourself and emerge victorious form this brainteaser. You saw that scoreboard just outside the entrance, right? Your name’s going to be on top, you know that. Don’t worry, you won’t be left behind. All you have to do is believe in yourself!
CANDY & POPCORN Right next to the main stage you can find the lovely Vanessa at the Candy&Popcorn stand. She takes great care to prepare a special treat which will keep your energy levels high. Her special kind of corn, naturally called the Butterfly corn, makes for the best kind of sweet and caramelized Popcorn. Go find her and try it_ for yourself!
IT’S ALWAYS
GIN O’CLOCK As the saying goes, when life gives you lemons, you might as well make gin and tonic. A carefully crafted glass of liquid sanity can be acquired at the Origins Fever Tree bars all across the festival. Mixed with only the very best Fever Tree mixers, their Beefeater Gin is bound to give you the extra boost you need today. And gin is not just a drink, it’s a science. Nele (26) and Axelle (25) from Belgium are not new to the brew. “We make our own concoctions at home. It’s amazing what you can do with gin, a great tonic like Fever Tree and different herbs and spices. Lavender, thyme, amicorum juniper berries, spectaculum there’s even variations with fish. And if you want to go all the way, making the gin yourself really isn’t all that hard. Look it up, try something new!”
TASTING
THE STARS Tired of the beers and strong booze? Have a glass of Vallformosa cava. Bubbles never tasted so good, and Tomorrowland never felt so bubbly! Let the fizz caress your taste buds and let the glow warm your insides, then sit back and watch the people pass by for a while. You can find the Vallformosa cava bars all over the terrain, so a glass of sparkly love is never far away. Enjoy, be responsible and may the flush on your cheeks stay for the rest of the weekend.

THE KNIFE THROWER The guys trust each other off stage like they trust each other on stage. That’s a very good thing when playing with knives. After a little practice, they take the chance and – thank the heavens – it turns out well. The nearby manager looks a little pale, but they insist. We don’t know how, but afterwards, Jeroen still has a nose, two ears and two eyes. Let’s just stick to demolishing the venue, guys, not each other!
the greatest the greatest show! show!
STONGEST MAN ON EARTH
Once upon a time there were two boys. Every weekend they’d be hanging out by the DJ booths of the local clubs, watching, learning, preparing to one day master the art of spinning themselves. That day has come. In the everchanging harder styles, twin brothers Jeroen and Martijn – a.k.a. Sound Rush – form an act that’s building a reputation fast. They bring the booth to the dance floor, and they’re damn good at it – true performers, both of them. Yesterday, after having displayed their own craft at the Q-dance stage, they paid a visit to some of the Amicorum Spectaculum’s own performers at the mighty, magnificent Bazaarville, opposite the Harbour House. Read on for the story of Sound Rush and their performance at Bazaarville! Passion is a prerequisite for hardstyle. And passion is what Jeroen and Martijn have in droves. Back in the early days, they’d be at the front at every hardstyle party or festival, analyzing the DJ’s moves and mixes. Basically they went to school every Friday and Saturday night, trying to replicate what they saw at home on Sunday. The result of those nights they handed over to Mental Theo, one night in Austria while on skiing holiday with their parents. Jeroen: “He ended up playing the tracks we made there. He even belgium announced it. “People, I just got a CD with some music from a couple of guys. I’m just going to play it and see what

you think.” Can you imagine? Shaking in our boots, we were. It worked, and the next day Theo’s reaching out to us. He took us on tour and taught us what it’s like to be on the other side of the booth.” Things went fast from that one night in Austria, and now Sound Rush is taking the big festivals like Defqon.1 by storm. The brothers made their passion into their profession. Being twins does help on stage. “Our parents like to tellsus that we had our own language growing up. It’s kind of the same now. The smallest hand gesture, a blink of an eye, and we know what the other’s thinking.” Together they have a mission. “We don’t really care about genres our sticking to ‘the way things go’. We are dedicated to that feeling we had when we first heard hardstyle, and want to transfer that
to the people coming to see us. We take that amazing feeling from back then, update it and play it. We don’t really matter, giving the crowd what they’re craving for is what matters. We’d be just as happy dancing on the floor as we are playing the music.” This ‘by the people, for the people’ mindset has pushed the brothers ahead of the other youngsters trying to break through. For a time, they even took over the famous Hard with Style podcasts, and that’s a big responsibility. With career just a few years in the works, they’re already playing the biggest mainstages with the support of veterans such as Headhunterz. These are the performers of the future!
THE INCREDIBLE FORTUNE TELLER As soon as the guys sit down, their happy faces turn deadly serious. This is the future we’re talking about, no funny business. Their fortune is told in private, but from what we can catch things are shaping up to be pretty good. Something about ‘you’re a dragon’ and ‘you enhance each other’s fortune’. Being a dragon can’t be wrong, so the future’s bright!
SPINNING WHEEL OF FORTUNE They spun, they waited anxiously, and got ‘out of luck’. Martijn laughs. “Yeah, that sounds like us! Yesterday we went to the casino for fun, and we were pretty much done in an hour. But hey, what can you do! I mean, besides laugh about it and move on to better things.” That’s the spirit guys! Never give up, always think positive!

LIVE AT TOMORROWLAND
OSCAR AND THE WOLF Whether you’re from around these parts or you’ve travelled here from the other side of the world, by now an introduction for Oscar and the Wolf ought to be superfluous. Their album ‘Entity’ went platinum, they’ve gathered golden awards in all kinds of categories, and frontman Max Colombie is the singer and soul of Belgium’s hottest and most sexy band ever. Band, you say? Why yes, Oscar and the Wolf are the very first actual live band to have played Tomorrowland, a true premiere amidst all the DJs. We caught up with Max right before his show at the Organ of Harmony.
“I’m open for working together with anyone, anyhow, anywhere - as long as I can see myself in the result.” With ‘Entity’, Oscar and the Wolf produced such deep, subtle, and intoxicating sounds that they’ve managed to tap right into today’s zeitgeist. It’s a whiff of bedroom tristesse in a melange with smooth and heartbreakingly sexy indiepop, it’s taking a hot bath of melancholy with a scented foam of naive yearning for fairytale-like, everlasting and unconditional love. The tantalizing music rips you open, soothes and overpowers you at the same time. Max’ voice is lazily overwhelming and unmistakable. His sleepy slur cradles and unnerves you, languorous but rousing, sensual and mysterious. We’re mere guests in his universe, as though he’d invited us as voyeurs to his tortured heart and his desire, luminous yet oh so dark.
think that a festival based on full-on electronic music might be a bit out of a live musician’s comfort zone. Max disagrees. “I’m a huge lover of techno, though. I’ve got some friends that are techno DJs and I just love checking them out, it’s a world I can identify with.” When asked whether that world isn’t a whole lot less colourful than his own, they answer is a resolute no. “Techno is colourful on a whole other level. That beat just goes straight ahead without looking back, which gives you the opportunity to look at that piece of music from another angle. The emotion flows through your body on a more stretched-out way, as opposed to a three-minute pop song, but that doesn’t mean those feelings are less profound. A nine-minute song trotting on the same merciless beat gives you the time to discover all the little details that are hidden inside. The elongated craving for emotion is what makes techno so beautiful.”
One might find it to be odd: music that’s based on such an acute level of intimacy in between the lunacy and madness of Tomorrowland. But it isn’t. As he looks back on last weekend, playing Tomorrowland was as rewarding an experience as Max thought it would be. “It was great, really,” he says, “but I did have to get used to standing on top of the DJ booth as opposed to just wavering over the stage, you know.” The band’s music burst out of the speakers in such a way that it almost seemed as though they put themselves on steroids to produce that volume. “That wasn’t the case, though maybe the sound guy did crank up the decibels. I really opted to just do the authentic stuff, deliver a show that exhibits what we stand for, what we love to do. It’s true that I am a bit of a chameleon, but I absolutely had no intention of doing exactly what people were expecting - remixing the songs, empower them with rougher beats. That’s not in my nature.”
Regardless of how different his own music is as opposed to that of David Guetta or Armin van Buuren, Max isn’t at all reluctant towards collaborating with any of them. “I don’t believe in a divide between commercial and alternative music, but I won’t be releasing anything that I don’t like myself. I’m open for working together with anyone, anyhow, anywhere - as long as I can see myself in the result. I have no intention of selling my soul and I want to be part of the whole writing process, always with a final say about the song. I want to have the liberty to go in any given direction, just like Guetta and Calvin Harris. I don’t want to be just that indiepop star, I don’t want to be bogged down in one genre. I wanna do all of them.”
Max has worked together with Belgian techno talent Charlotte de Witte and interweaves his music with amicorum spectaculum influences from all sorts of electronic music. Now, he is one of the main acts of Tomorrowland. Yet one might

A WELL-DESERVED
DESSERT Over the weekend, we’ve guided you through the food market, the Tomorrowland restaurant, B-EAT, the various food corners, and the many other culinary thrills that are to be found on these Holy Grounds. But since this is the last day of Tomorrowland, we need your energy levels to remain the highest they can be – the DJs aren’t going to be doing the jumping on their own. Add to that the fact that we saw you giving your all on Friday and Saturday, and there’s more than enough reason for us to believe that you’ve earned a bit of a cherry on top. You’re in desperate need of a welldeserved dessert.
Let's not sugarcoat it: you've held your own quite well throughout the weekend. We saw you whipping your cream all over the place and opening up your pie-holes wide to loudly sing along to the ample supply of earcandylike anthems. We saw you visibly enjoying the great food the festival has to offer, but we believe that on this last day the focus should be on what's probably the very best part of every dinner: dessert. Or, as a famous philosopher once said: "Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first." Well, don't mind if we do. Desserts are like the fairytales of the kitchen, a happilyever-after to supper - or breakfast, whatever floats your boat, right? So we start off on our journey into sugar oblivion at the Arch stage, where in between the back exit and the Harbour House, we see a cheerful little dame standing behind a carrier cycle so colourful that she must surely be hiding some sweets inside her vessel. And our sixth sense for finding confectionary in every corner has never failed us before. If you're up for freezing your tongue, teeth, and cheeks, then this stand is the place to be. Whether it be Twisters, Calippos, chocolate coated amicorum spectaculumMagnums - 'frisco', we say in Belgium - this is brainfreeze Walhalla. That's one (ok, a couple) down.
Moving on, we cross the bridge towards the foodcourt behind the Mainstage, where we pass by all kinds of savoury food stands. It is just the sugar heaven we are looking for. So on we go, moving up to a cocktail stand to get a couple of palm sugar-spiced Mojitos to add some kick to the sugar rush. Our next stop is the Callebaut stand, where the concept of chocolate is uplifted, worshipped like a god and celebrated for being the balm for the soul and body that it is. There's nothing more delicious on Earth than chocolate and the people of Callebaut understand that very well. Whereas last year they prepared faux Belgian fries out of waffles and chocolate mousse, this year they're taking on another one of this country's classics: a good old pint of beer. They've got 2 versions available: a blond and a brown one. Our preference in beer remains unresolved which means that – oh, how we hate our jobs – we need to taste both. The blond ‘beer’ is made up out of passion fruit, dark Madagascar chocolate mousse infused with bergamot and earl grey, ornamented with red berries and pieces of brownie, topped off with coconut foam and brought to you in a beer pint that when squeezed breaks into pieces of white chocolate that are then released into

the whole. If we were sentenced to death by eating, this would be our weapon of choice. Callebaut's brown is a bit more of an oddball, but nevertheless succeeds in performing a tap dance on your taste buds with an exquisite cocoa infused lemonade, sugar muscovado, spices of all sorts, and a marinade of rum in exchange for some extra Pearls. Mocktail and cocktail of the month, right here. Oh, how we wish every hour would be happy hour. All you need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt! Of course, after ice cream and chocolate you need more ice cream. You have two options: either go healthy with Moochie's frozen yoghurt, choosing from the countless toppings they have available, or go get yourself a true, classic, vintage, good old scone of vanilla, mocca, chocolate, or strawberry ice cream. And if you're a bit of a daredevil, a free thinker regarding all things food, then you might even combine those scoops of ice cream with a waffle so Belgian that they actually named the country after it. Next to beer and Belgian fries, this is the third culinary pinnacle at which this country does better than anyone else in the world. And if you don't believe us, then try them out for yourselves; you know that the proof is always in the pudding. But as we wouldn't want you to overdose on desserts, our last stop in this experiment on human sugar consumption is the Acaï and Cocos stand right next to the Wind Stage. Here you can take in all the vitamins you need to recover from the last days, and even add a little extra boost to this last day. Go coconuts on an actual coconut filled with coco water and accompanied by a flavoured straw, or try the Acaï berry dessert after which you can feel all those toxins leaving your body instantly.
There's plenty a sweetness to go around, so on this last day, treat yourselves and those around you to a well-earned dessert. Take a moment for some dulce far niente while commemorating all those sweet memories you've gathered at Tomorrowland. Bon appétit!

STAY CONNECTED
We’ll all come across some delightful new characters this weekend, whether it be on stage, dancing next to you, or sharing breakfast at the DreamVille campsite. You’ll be making new friends and creating new memories with friends that have already stood the test of time. You’ll probably go home with the latter, but if you want to stay in touch with those Brazilian or Australian friends you met, or if you want to exchange tracklist info with your new best buds or musical soulmates, the People of Tomorrow Community is where you ought to be. What kind of weird sorcery is this community, you ask? It’s Tomorrowland’s very own social platform, found at peopleoftomorrow.com. Complete your Tomorrowland profile and you’re set to find your friends. It also has awesome features like a filter that looks for festivalgoers who were on the same flight as you, or are from the same city as you. You can add these people to your own profile and get in touch while also unlocking exclusive Tomorrowland content. Don’t miss anything of this magical, new community; go forth and connect!
PIMP YOUR
PHONE
In one of the Markets near the festival exit leading to DreamVille, you can order your own Tomorrowland-themed wooden phone case with your personalized message engraved. It takes a mere 10 minutes for your phone to get the upgrade of a lifetime. Kristof and Dimi will burn your design into the case of your choice by laser. Kevin (26) is just picking up his. He's a bartender at the festival. “It’s my third year here, and I actually have regulars now. Thanks to being here I’ve got buddies from Singapore to China to Columbia. Isn’t that crazy? I see them only once a year but they all know where to find me.” Thanks to TML by Tomorrowland, Kevin can now keep in touch with his international posse in style.
TODAY’S THE RECYCLE CLUB Love Tomorrow would like to thank you, the People of Tomorrow, for your amazing recycling efforts. You have made great use of the Recycle Kits and kept the campsite green and beautiful. PMD and General Waste bags were seen hanging on tents, by beer pong tables and in between flags. What’s more, the Recycle Clubhouse and its lovely hosts have successfully collected lots of your full PMD bags and have given away wonderful prizes. Keep up the good work, and you might earn yourself one! And as our majestic amicorum spectaculum journey is drawing to a close, let’s keep respecting Mother Nature. Sort your waste well at the Recycle Points and the FloweRbins, and you’ll rescue tons of materials from being wasted!

NEWS BOYS Who are those true heroes of the festival, cycling around the site on their cargo bike, keeping the whole festival well-informed and entertained? Of course we’re talking about our own News Boys! Whenever you’re in need of a Tomorrowland Today, these young men will come racing towards you and hand you one of the freshest prints. This is not an easy task, Jef, Branco and Mathias explain: “We have to endure the weather and the risk of paper cuts for hours on end. But it’s totally worth it. So far we only got positive reactions, the people love the newspaper! Sometimes people hop onto our bicycle or start helping us belgium spontaneously. And yesterday, we got offered 20 beers to take two guys to the festival area on our bikes. But we will not be temped, we’ve got one task and one task only: to distribute the Tomorrowland Today!"

LOVE TOMORROW KEBAB Greenway, a popular Belgian restaurant, are bringing their most beloved dish to the People of Tomorrow this weekend: the 100% vegetarian Love Tomorrow kebab! “Most of the people are surprised when we tell them that it’s not real meat,” Paul, one of the founders of Greenway, tells us. “Everyone loves kebab, but we want to give festivalgoers a sustainable vegetarian alternative. Our motto is ‘surprisingly delicious veggie for meat lovers!’”.
LOVE TOMORROW, GO VEGGIE! For everyone who wants to enjoy a healthy dinner without eating meat, there’s a plentitude of vegetarian food stands at the festival site. From Vietnamese to Italian, a vast number of chefs offer meat-free dishes. On top of that, there are also possibilities for people who prefer their meals vegan or gluten-free. And don’t hesitate to ask the kitchen for different options, since most of the time the cooks of Tomorrowland are prepared to adjust their meals to your personal wishes, even when they’re not shown on the menu.
RISOTTO BALLS BY BALLS & GLORY BY FINJAN Balls & Glory are famous Belgian caterers. Starting out in Gent, they conquered the whole country with their culinary versions of the national meatball dish. But the modern chefs also came up with a vegetarian variant: Risotto balls with spinach and mozzarella. These Italian-style fried balls can be ordered with a hotpot of potatoes and different spices and vegetables, or with a refreshing salad.
Even if you are an avid meat lover, changing your choice for a steak or a burger to a vegetarian alternative is never a bad idea. The environmental impact of eating meat is enormous, and to make sure tomorrow’s People of Tomorrow can continue to enjoy their future, it will be necessary to lower our collective greenhouse gas emissions. Then again, positive environmental impact aside, vegetarian food is often very healthy, well spiced and plain delicious. The veggie options will introduce you to a whole new universe of tastes and textures. To get you started, we selected some of the most exquisite vegetarian dishes on Tomorrowland! With these labels you can easily spot which of our chefs prepare vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free food. If you’re lactose intolerant, follow the vegan label. So pick your color, and choose your dinner!
Vegetarian Vegan Gluten-free
If you want to see our full spectrum of vegetarian and meat dishes, visit https://www.tastesoftheworld.com/ where you’ll find an overview of the meals and stands on the festival site!
THE SALAD BAR BY THE FOOD MAKERS If you want a huge choice in tastes the Salad Bar is the place to be. This is a selfservice restaurant where you can pay an amount of pearls for a small or big plate and fill it with whatever you like. Choose from anything from lentils to yellow belgium carrots and combine things to your heart’s desire! Of course, with freedom of choice comes the option of going fully vegan, or even gluten-free – and it’ll still be delicious.
Did you know… All of Tomorrowland’s food disposables – that’s the plates and amicorum spectaculum cutlery – are entirely compostable? Mother Nature herself will recycle them into fertile soil. Love Tomorrow!

FOCUS ON THE MUSIC
HELDEEP
COONE & THE GANG
Today, Oliver Heldens is taking over the Rose Garden with his very own Heldeep hosting. His label Heldeep Records exploded over the last few years and has become a legendary name, just like Oliver himself. The down-to-earth DJ likes to connect with his crowd, and he’s bringing a group of friends who like to do the same. Performers like Chocolate Puma, Chris Lake and Laidback Luke will assure that you won’t stand still until the sun goes down and the dragon breathes her very last puff of smoke. Open your mind and let Heldeep’s good vibes and addictive, funky music guide you through the deep end. See you there!
Belgium might be a very small country, but a lot of Tomorrowland legends were born here. Apart from the usual suspects like Yves V and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Belgium also offers completely different sounds. DJ Coone has been Belgium’s biggest hardstyle artist for years and is known as one of the most important and influential artists of the harder styles. The Gang that Coone is bringing today includes crazy acts like Pablo Discobar’s Hitlist, Sub Zero Project (live) and the one and only Radical Redemption. Guided by Coone, they represent hardstyle with a funky Belgian twist. Join Coone’s Global Dedication! Be there or be square.

martin garrix
Everybody loves him. He’s kind, energetic and handsome, he’d be the cute one if he was in a boyband. But all those things aside: he’s astoundingly good at what he does. And what he does is making music and playing that music live in front of thousands upon thousands of people. He’s worked with Tiësto as well as with R&B superstar Usher, he is best friends with Justin Bieber, but above all he enjoys being at home in Amsterdam, hanging out with his family, and producing tracks at his studio for nights in a row. Last weekend he hosted and headlined his own stage at Tomorrowland and even did a second disco-themed set under the pseudonym Ytram. Today, he’s closing out the Mainstage. People of Tomorrow, it is our great honour to introduce you to the number one DJ in the world: Martin Garrix.
First of all: congratulations on your welldeserved first place in the DJ Mag Top 100! From whom did you receive the message after you’ve won? “The first message… good question. My phone nearly exploded so it’s pretty hard to tell who was first. Anyway, I did get a tremendous amount of congratulation from my family, friends and even my colleagues. On the evening when I first heard about it, I was together with my parents, my friends and my whole team. We celebrated, of course.” One day you’re Martin Garrix and the next day you wake up as the number one DJ in the world. How did that affect you? “It feels really weird, but at the same time things haven’t changed all that much. I’m still the same guy who just enjoys making cool music and releasing it. It just really makes me happy to see people enjoy my music. And let’s be honest: it doesn’t matter that much whether you’re the #1 DJ in the world or not. In the end it’s just a list.”
might rather be caused by me having grown as an artist as opposed to having climbed up some list. I gathered more experience, and have grown as a person as well. I think I now know better what I want and how I want it. So yeah, there is a difference between now and then, but I think that’s a very healthy change.” You’ve been working together with some of the biggest names in today’s music. Has your recently upgraded superstar status had the effect that some of those greats offered themselves to you for a collaboration? “I work together with the artists I love and then it doesn’t matter how big or famous they are. All I want is to make a connection in the studio, because that’s the one and only crucial ingredient for the coolest of tracks. But if I had the chance to choose one artist to work with, dead or alive, it would be Pharell Williams, without a doubt. He’s the bossest of ‘em all.”
Do you feel as though either you or your career changed because of your win? “I did take a moment to reflect upon it of course, but there has been so much going on in my career last year. Anyways, I would never put myself above, let’s say, Tiësto in a list like that. I would never see myself as being a better DJ than he is. The most important thing is that I still do what I love so much. I still work together with the same team, working hard trying to put on the best possible show and sharing my music with the world.”
You’ve always been very close to your family. As a musician, what exactly did you learn from your parents? Were they a big influence on your development as an artist? “My parents were always a big influence on everything and have been super-supportive and helpful in everything I did. And they still are, without them none of this would’ve been possible. After seeing Tiësto’s set at the Olympics in 2004 the feeling got to me. At that exact point my love for electronic music was born. As a kid I started out as DJ Marty, and back then, it was my parents who helped me getting things done.”
Have things changed in the way that people look at you now compared to when you were still elsewhere in the top 10? “Yeah, there definitely is some difference, but I think that
Are they the ones that keep you on track? Because compared to some of your colleagues, regardless of age, you’ve had quite a clean record concerning excessive debauchery.
“It’s my parents, my little sister, my friends, and my team who keep me firmly planted on the ground with both feet. I’m just a really normal boy who happens to reside in a bit of crazy world now and then.” You did see a bigger and crazier part of the world compared to other people of the same age. Do you sometimes feel as though you had to miss out on a normal childhood? “It’s true that I didn’t quite have the same standard childhood every kid has and yes, maybe I did miss some very normal things. But there are so many amazing experiences to keep the balance. Nowadays I often bring my best friends with me on tour, sharing all my experiences with them, and that’s the best feeling there is.” In real life you’re more of quiet guy, whereas on the stage you’re pretty explosive, to say the least. Are those two sides your yin and yang? “I can be very explosive in real life as well though, haha! But there is a difference, yes. When going on stage I’m bursting with energy. Every time I perform I get that immense adrenaline rush – it’s hard to describe the actual feeling. And I do try to keep all of it in balance by taking a break when I need to. It’s a good thing that I have the ability to sleep anywhere at any time.” You’ve hosted your own STMPD RCRDS Stage yesterday, what was that like for you? “We’ve had some really great artists like Cassius, CMC$, Don Diablo, Dyro, Estaw, Justin Mylo, Steve Angello… and even some more. I was really, really happy with our line-up, it was a great mix of artists. And my own set – or should I say sets? – were overflowing with energy!”

DIMITRI VEGAS & LIKE MIKE FOCUS ON GLORIOS SUNDAY SMASH THE HOUSE | HOSTING ALL DAY LONG ‘Never change a winning team’ is a rule that counts for football teams as well as festival line-ups. Tomorrowland’s favourite DJ brothers, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, are at it again this weekend. They turned the Mainstage upside down last night and they’re hosting their own Smash the House stage today. Furthermore, they’re hosting their very own Garden of Madness at Ushuaïa Ibiza all summer long. Read all they have to say about it right here. If there’s one DJ duo who live and breathe Tomorrowland, then it would have to be our beloved Belgian brothers, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Ever since they made their very first appearance at this festival in 2009, the brothers have conquered the first place in DJ Mag’s Top 100, sold out shows for thousands of people and performed at festivals all over the world. The two were born and bred at a stone’s throw away from the grounds of De Schorre in Boom, and their career pretty much took a parallel path to the growth of Tomorrowland. Just like Tomorrowland, they learned everything the hard way but persisted, keeping a close eye on the balance between hard work and quality. In the end all of it paid off. Their tip-top shape was evidenced again yesterday when they smashed the Mainstage, and today it’s time to host the Smash the House line-up at the Organ of Harmony. The boys have invited guests and friends like Moguai, Yves V & Regi, Ummet amicorum spectaculum Ozan, and another pair of DJ brothers, DVBBS. You could definitely say that things are going great for Dimi & Mike with the fifth consecutive edition of
their Bringing the Madness shows at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp in the works. There’s no less than four dates on the agenda, and looking back at last year you’d better catch up fast, because those four shows – 85,000 tickets – sold out in no time. “You know, when we started this Bringing the Madness thing five years ago we were crossing our fingers hoping to sell out just one date,” Dimitri says. “When eighty-five thousand people showed up over the course of four nights last year, we had to pinch ourselves in the arm. It’s really heartwarming to have so ridiculously many people show up for our Sportpaleis shows. People from all ages and all origins, no less. It has become so big that it’s almost a winter edition of Tomorrowland.” Bringing the Madness has indeed become a standard for winter clubbing in Belgium and the brothers tend to stay closely connected to the production process of those massive shows. “Every year we want it to be more exuberant, bigger, bolder and with more LED video and a more overpowering lights show. That’s something Tomorrowland and us work on very closely together, the support from the festival is immense. We want to leave people at the end of the night with the feeling that they’ve just witnessed the best show on Earth, overwhelmed by a feeling of... just ‘wow’, you know? They won’t know what just hit them.” Thanks to their own effort and the support of the festival, the Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike brand hasn’t been doing all that bad, because nowadays there’s the Garden of Madness (their weekly hosting at Ushuaïa in Ibiza) as well as the Bringing the Madness shows. But what exactly is this Madness that they like to proclaim so

much? “Well… it’s just madness, haha! The name says it all, really. The Madness stands for the state of mind we want people to be in when attending our shows. We want them to tear the place apart, go crazy, go apesh*t and just rip it!” A positive result of being successful and having been crowned DJ Mag’s #1 DJ in 2016 is that the eyes of the world were suddenly turned to these two brothers from picturesque little Belgium. And by eyes, we mean all eyes, including those of other superstars from genres way beyond EDM. “We love a good collab every now and then, but the thing they’ve all got in common is that they came into existence in a very organic way. There has to be a click, a connection between both parties.” Recently they found common ground with none other than David Guetta. “Our new single ‘Complicated’ is us with David and Kiiara. It’ll also be our very first single on Sony Records, where we’ve just recently signed an artist deal – another major step for us.” The release of ‘Complicated’ is the next milestone in the duo’s ever so prosperous career, and it will be followed by the rest of their hosting sessions on Ibiza and, of course, the Bringing the Madness shows at the end of the year. “Our main goal for the future is to just keep doing what we do, but to get better and bigger along the way. With just a little bit more Madness every time.”

Mazda Sound of Tomorrow | 19h00 – 20h30 Freshly graduated from high school, Dutch DJ talent Sophie Francis is ready to hit the Sound of Tomorrow stage this evening! Sophie Bongers’ alias is a tribute to St. Francis Bay in South Africa, where she spent an idyllic childhood which still influences her music today. This results in summery and danceable EDM which is being picked up around the globe, represented on the dancefloor by DJ legends like David Guetta and Tiësto. This year, Sophie’s released two singles through major record label Spinnin’ Records, garnering millions of plays on Spotify and YouTube. Skyrocketing through the charts and flying over the seven seas, Sophie earned herself a nickname: ‘the female Martin Garrix’. It may very well turn out to be an accurate prediction of her future!

CDA presents Mosaic | 20h00 – 21h00 There’s those who leave the club after a long night of dancing with a certain track stuck in the back of their heads, but for DJ and production duo Kristian Beyer and Frank Wiedemann, the tunes lodged in their brains are the ones they didn’t hear. What’s stuck in their heads is the tracks they themselves are cooking up, tracks that are not yet written. Since 2003, the pair have been penning the songs that exist just outside clubbers’ imaginations, songs that boldly combine floor-filling elements with – for lack of a better word – weirdness from some sort of musical twilight zone. Just like their Innervisions partner Dixon, Âme offers glimpses of the future of electronic music through their live sets and genre-bending compilations. They even run an independent record store that completes the connection between artist and admirer. In a scene that sometimes obsesses over the past, Âme are focused firmly on what’s still to come. Needless to say the Mosaic stage, side by side with other pioneers like Maceo Plex, DJ Koze, Fatima Yamaha and analogue synth warriors Agents of Time, is just the place for a amicorum spectaculum forward-thinking duo like this.

Otto Knows. Knows what exactly? Knows how to make you boogie, that’s for sure. Raised in the underground clubs of Stockholm, Otto Jettman enjoys the full support of the legendary members of the Swedish House Mafia nowadays. Otto made his breakthrough single ‘Million Voices’ in the back of the studio while none other than Sebastian Ingrosso and Alesso were cooking up festival anthem ‘Calling’. There must be something in the water in Sweden – it’s like they’re growing talented musicians by the dozens. Come to know Otto today at the Mainstage!

Selecting the tracks for the gig and producing the music you’re putting out: those are just two of the aspects that make a musician great. Being able to read the crowd in a moment’s notice and steering their energy at will is what elevates Sasha from being merely great to being legendary. Pushing boundaries on stage and in the studio is what he does best. He’s building an empire of soul and funk with his imprint ‘Last Night on Earth’ and can often be seen alongside good friend Johnbelgium Digweed. Today you’ll get the opportunity to travel through sound and reality with the man himself at the Freedom stage, hosted by Pryda.

radio ultra modern Hey babes, here we are again, The Retronettes! Are you ready for some more of our Tomorrowland adventures? We bet you are. The weather gods weren’t exactly in our favour on Friday, as it rained pretty much all day. Leave it to us Retronettes to bring a little sunshine into your life, right? We created a rainy game where we hid rain coats inside our bras and handed them out to the crowd. Trust us, nobody was going anywhere and the rain was the last thing on their minds.

The Garden of Madness – ANTS
The Arch – I Love the ‘90s
18h00 – 19h30
21h00 – 22h00
The dreamy, emotional yet powerful tones of Maya Jane Coles will be gently drifting over the Garden of Madness later this afternoon. She’s traversed the many clubs and warehouses in her hometown of London, and tried her hand at a wide variety of genres before catching the house-fever. Maya writes, produces, engineers, mixes, arranges, and performs every element in her tracks herself, which makes her music very intimate and personal. Her debut album ‘Comfort’ is a delicate masterpiece, expressing her inner emotional workings through sound. A few days ago she released a follow-up double album titled ‘Take Flight’. Step on up to the Garden of Madness today, and get to know Maya up close.
The master from Down Under is here! You probably have his global megahit ‘Sandstorm’ engraved in your fondest memories of the infamous ‘90s, but Darude is much more than the track that became an Internet sensation. His influence as an artist spreads to all the corners of the world, and he has toured pretty much every continent for the last decade or so. His style of mixing is a furious blend of the uplifting side of trance, a progressive touch, cut up with carefully curated elements of tech, house and breaks. It says a lot when an artist is able to push through the hype of a #1 hit and manages to establish himself as a serious artist after the rage has died down. Experience the power of Darude yourself at The Arch tonight!

Another memory of that day we’d like to cherish is that we had the pleasure of welcoming an actual live band on stage. The one and only Cookies & Cream shone their shoes in order to make the Harbour House glimmer. It was such great fun to dance to a bit of live music in between all the DJs, a nice change. Did you get the chance to catch our tribute act to the Backstreet Boys? For a while the Backstreet was definitely back all right. And in case you missed it, you’ll get a second chance today if you join us at 5 p.m. sharp. It’ll be your last chance to sing along to ‘Quit Playing Games With My Heart’, ‘I Want It That Way’ and all those other great classics. Don’t miss out, hon! But there’s one more sad thing: Today is the last day and only thinking about it makes us feel really sad. Luckily we’ve still got a great program ready to take you with force between 1 p.m. and midnight. From DJ Dosschy, the phenomenal Rakka, Bubba and the kings of ambiance Discobaar A Moeder: we count on you to come party with us. We love you!

His versatility behind the decks and his talent as an exquisite selector of tracks have sustained his international allure for years, and earned him a residency at techno temple Berghain in Berlin. Mano gives his dancefloor music a poppy touch, making it very intimate as well as danceable. Next to taking his fans to Nirvana belgium whenever he plays, he also runs his ‘Maeve’ record label with buddies Drifter and Baikal.
