“Reconstruction of the area of Cascina Merlata - Milan� Located in the Cascina Merlata area in the city of Milan, close to the Rho-Pero Trade Fair pole and to the Expo 2015 site, Area R1 has area 16770 spm is planned to become a social housing area in the new area of Milan. This is an area that was originally designed as a residential, auxiliary area for Expo Milan in 2015 for the existing residential and hotel buildings. The task of this project is to reconstruct urban space, reconstruct and connect residential areas with public spaces. Our idea is to connect Milan Expo area 2015, with the future becoming the new university area. We create associated spaces, incorporating landscape design and using bright colors for new accommodation.

The project is now situated in the south-eastern area of Milan. We are proposing a social housing combining markets and greenhouse on the roof to create a novel model for people who suffered by low salary and the elderly to have a self-sufficient life. All the material and technology we choose are based on the latest trend and information. The cost of them are low, defining as long lasting aesthetics as well. As for the most important part on the rooftop is called the Hydroponic Garden System. It’s smart and environmentally friendly, not only achieving saving the soil but also recycling the water system. The main goal for our project is to maximize flexibility, making the building sustainable and able to share with everyone.

Among the grapefruit garden of a large farm, Mian Farm Cottage has a fine view of Ba Vi mountain range. The love of nature is in harmony with the particular traits of the contemporary architecture such as the simple outlines, the rich natural light and the connection between inside and outside. All bring about the inspiration for designing.

There are two main units: The central section with living room, dinning room, kitchen which was rebuilt on the basement of the broken down building; and the bedrooms which were reformed on the old structures. The building block seems to be floating above the grass. The horizontal shape makes the building form simple and modest while sheltering behind the foliage. The large glass surface overlooks the garden and the distant mountains.

Because of far away from the city, the easier in construction the better, so the solution was creating the whole building structure in steel, that simplified the process and took only two months for constructing. Compared with using concrete structure, using steel was reduced the expense as much as possible. Laterite was one of the local materials used in finishing work.

Ground floor

We were assigned to design a corner villa in an urban finished civil work. In here, series of apartments were finished civil work and sold many years ago. The villa overlooks a wide space with an extensive view and a large meadow. From the inside of villa, one can see the whole of Western view - the main hot direction of Vietnam climate. Requirements for architects including the use for a family with 2 children with a modern life style, extension space will take all advantage of the view, be able to prevent high temperature by direct light from Western as well as keep security because of low population density

The design is discussed with a simple and condensed cube but still keep the harmony with the whole architecture around. It is easy to see the villa far from the meadow. A large pent-roof is designed round the first floor to shade the sun for inside space. The above pent-roof will be a big balcony where can seat to sight the meadow every morning. The whole front of villa will be use a flexible brise-soleil system which is able to open wide and close, therefore it is able to adjust the light into the house and keep security. Belongs to weather and feeling, the house can be open minded or closed with outside.

Hospital 30/4, under the General Department of Logistics - Technology, Ministry of Public Security located in District 5. The hospital is responsible for health care, health care for police officers and soldiers, officials cant pension, health insurance, people and other objects; participate in scientific research and teaching for students - medical students; implementation of international cooperation and health screening for people traveling abroad. Our task is to design a building with 11 floors and a basement garage connected to the existing older buildings, with a connecting function space and satisfy the demand for hospital use. Buildings have to be modern and in line with the surrounding landscape.

Hanoi Ballet House / Music rhythm Location Lieu Giai Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi, Vietnam Architecture Design Studio 9 - Personal project Project Year 6/2013

This is the concepts that I made in four-year student on Hanoi Architectural University. Requirements are designed a theater project, I chose Ballet Theatre to perform in Hanoi. Buildings located in one of the important intersections of the capital Hanoi, with ideas taken from the volume image of the colorful column, has created works just satisfying performance and user requirements, both show softness of the dances. After thorough research on traffic, access, design requirements, as well as natural climate conditions of Hanoi, I had solutions using glasses fence for mean front and around its. Add color to blend decorative. This is only a small part of my idea.

Da Lat Public Library Location Ho Xuan Huong Lake, Da Lat, Lam Dong, Vietnam Architecture Design Studio 10 - Personal project Project Year 12/2013

Located at an altitude of 1,500 meters and the mountains along the forest flora populations, especially pine trees surrounded, Da Lat has a temperate mountainous climate balmy year round. The average monthly temperature in Dalat never exceeds 20*C, even in the hottest months. Within a radius of 1km have Tran Hung Dao architectural conservation area. To the North is the Xuan Huong Lake. Northeast adjacent to the old stadium, the planning of the city will become the plaza. Besides the park there Yesin. To the south is the quite residential area east focus. Around the area are mostly trees and water. Get Xuan Huong lake view is the main view. The main approach of the readers will from Tran Quoc Toan Street. Side entrance for staff and would book entry from Ho Tung Mau Street. The land where the terrain is relatively flat, sloping gently toward the lake.

Filter Island The 3rd Low card city Competition Design : Re-shaping urban coastal land-scapes for the Hibikinada Area in Kitakyushu, Japan. 10/2013 Inspired by the rotation and recycling of organic waste into energy, biochar use as a raw material to filter CO2 is also used as a fertilizer. Biochar a charcoal-like substance produced from agriculture and forest wastes. It has high active carbon surface area that is produced through naerobic heating of biomass. Composition-wise, it contains 70% carbon and the remaining elements are hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen.Biochar is used as soil enhancer to increase fertility, prevent soil degradation and to sequester carbon in the soil. It improves soil fertility by retaining water and nutrients in soil, encouraging beneficial soil organisms and thereby reducing the need for additional use of fertilizers. Biochar can store carbon in the soil for as many as hundreds to thousands of years (IBI, 2008). Biochar technology is different from the conventional charcoal production because it is highly efficient in the conversion of carbon and harmful pollutants are not released upon combustion.
