The Benefits of Depreciation Pay less tax: Tax depreciation or property depreciation on a residential or commercial investment property is a legitimate deduction against assessable taxable income, allowing property investors to reduce their tax payable and redirect the savings to other areas such as their investment mortgage.

Paul Bennion Founder and Managing Director Paul is a qualified quantity surveyor with more than 20 years’ experience. He is an Associate Member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and is recognised as a leading authority advising on depreciation matters. Paul founded DEPPRO in 1999 and has grown the company to be Australia’s largest property depreciation company. Paul has provided depreciation information and advice to more than 100,000 investors, including major island resorts, major developers and individual investors. Highly respected within the industry, Paul formed part of the Consultative Committee that advised the Australian Taxation Office on changes to Property Depreciation Tax, effective from July 2004.

Willie Peters National Sales, Marketing and Relationships Manager Willie Peters is DEPPRO’s National Sales, Marketing and Relationships Manager. Willie enjoyed a highly successful career in the NRL where he played for the St George Illawarra Dragons and the South Sydney Rabbitohs as well as a stint in English Super League for Wigan. During his football career Wille developed his business and marketing skills and became marketing manager for a leading wholesale and retail flower grower. Willie then moved into corporate sponsorship management and joined the successful corporate sales team at the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Willie was a contributing factor in the amazing off field turn around at that club where they emerged from a significant loss to post a considerable profit and became the only Sydney based NRL club to run a profitable organisation at that time, doing so without any supporting grant from a Leagues Club.


Kim Roganovic Manager, Victoria Kim has worked with DEPPRO for eight years and has been promoted to Victorian Manager. In her role, she is responsible for maintaining and nurturing DEPPRO’s relationships with local real estate agents and accounting firms in and around Melbourne and regional areas of Victoria. Her extensive experience ensures DEPPRO’s referrers are confidently able to advise clients on all issues relating to property depreciation.

Bonnie Vilaydeth Relationships Manager, Queensland Bonnie has worked in property depreciation for more than six years. At DEPPRO she is responsible for maintaining and building client relations and ensuring DEPPRO always delivers a professional service, no matter the client or requirements. Bonnie has played a key role in building DEPPRO’s relationships with local Brisbane accounting firms, developers and other companies including The Income Tax Professionals, Yellow Brick Road and Rivergum Homes.

Claire Herne Relationships Manager, Western Australia Claire brings extensive experience in client services to DEPPRO’s Perth office. She is responsible for managing client and partner relations and is the driving force behind DEPPRO’s strong relationships with local Perth accountants and property groups including Professionals Real Estate, Infinite Wealth, Maxim Hall Chadwick, Australand, BGC Residential and Macri Partners.


DEPPRO Partners Ian Judson Managing Director Judson Financial Management Services Ian Judson is a qualified accountant with high-level tax experience across a wide range of industries. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia, Taxation Institute of Australia, National Tax & Accountants Association Ltd and Financial Services Institute of Australia. Prior to running his own chartered accounting firm, Ian worked in various positions with Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton. He formed Judsons Financial Management Services in 2009. Dominic Guinea Managing Director, Dominic Guinea & Associates Dominic is a Chartered Accountant, Registered Tax Agent and Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia with many years’ experience with small, medium and large businesses. He provides business advice, management consulting and internal accounting and management support to DEPPRO. Dominic is also involved in property investment and development and over the past six years has managed numerous successful investment projects across Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia. Dominic continues to be an active investor and developer, managing a growing portfolio of exciting property developments.

Jack Gilleece Media Relations Consultant Jack Gilleece is a media relations consultant with more than 20 years’ experience in financial media relations both in Europe and Australia. Jack has worked with DEPPRO since 2006, gaining exposure for DEPPRO in a wide range of publications including Property Investor Magazine, The Courier Mail, Sunday Times and West Australia newspapers. As an owner of a number of investment properties, Jack understands the importance of claiming his full tax benefits and in recent years has used the services of DEPPRO to undertake tax depreciation schedules.


Trent Barret DEPPRO Ambassador Trent is a former professional Australian rugby league player. An Australian international and New South Wales State of Origin representative five-eighth, Trent played for the Illawarra Steelers and later the St George Illawarra Dragons. In 2000, he won the Dally M Medal. Trent spent two seasons in the Super League with England’s Wigan Warriors and was named in the 2007 Super League Dream Team before finishing his career in Australia with the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.
