To Say March was an amazing month for us here at Full Throttle Magazine would be an understatement. We started with producing one of the largest magazines we have put out in the past three years for the Bike Week issues coming in just under 100 pages and jam packed full of ads. We are a free magazine so our revenue comes from selling advertising and our reps. Make money on commission. It is good to see that the biker community still gets behind a great magazine like Full Throttle. It doesn’t hurt that we have the largest following on Facebook also with over 133,000 likes. We have 10 times the likes on our page than all of the other Florida biker mags COMBINED!!! You have a lot of places you can advertise your business with, I would like to take this time and thank every advertiser who has trusted us with their advertising dollars and their event promotions. We went through almost every magazine we printed extra for Bike Week in Daytona Beach (We printed an extra 5,000 book just to hand out in Daytona on top of our regular printed amount). We Also hosted 4 bike shows in Daytona during bike week. The Boardwalk Classic Bike Show had the largest turn out of ANY show in Daytona with just about 150 bikes and it was the largest ever for that show as well! When we returned back from Bike Week we had a little celebration at our office as March marked three years since my wife, Tonya Cianci, and I have purchased Full Throttle Magazine from my father, Paul Allen. Which also meant we made our last payment on our purchase plan to him so we now own Full Throttle Magazine outright. This was a great day for us as it has been a long three-year plan. I am very proud of my staff and family and friends who have stood by us helping make this happen. Nobody can do it all alone and without a great team, staff and family backing you, it could have never been accomplished! So now…. we move forward to the future! Full Throttle will be hosting the first ever bike show at Leesburg Bike Fest this year. We will be hosting a 10 class bike show near the Budweiser USA stage on Main street on Friday April 22nd. Registration will be at our booth on Main street in front of the library where we have been for the past 5 years. There has always only been one bike show at Leesburg Bike Fest on Saturday and we are glad we can help host a new one hopefully every year on Friday! Please come out and support our bike show, if you have any questions please call us at 727-935-4875 for info. See you all in Leesburg! The Soaked and Sore Ass Poker Run info is now available! We will be going from Palmetto to Marathon Key this year. We are starting in Palmetto because getting to the Key’s is a very long ride so we wanted to start on the southern side of the Skyway to save an hour from where our first stop would normally be in St. Pete. We will be traveling 41 South most of the way and then Heading south on US 1 down to Marathon Key where we will be staying at a Holiday Inn Express and Suites. We worked the best room deal we could for the Key’s, rooms are very expensive there! This is a great ride where you get a t-shirt, patch and completion certificate at the end and almost always make new friends on this ride! Pack up your rain gear and plan on having an adventure. We hope to see you on the 19th annual Soaked and Sore Ass Poker Run in June! I Have a few birthday wishes for the Month of April, First is my oldest daughter, Krysie who turns 17 on April 2nd Love you pumpkin (omg, I’m getting old) Then on April 5th is my beautiful Wife’s Birthday, Tonya Cianci, LOVE YOU BEAUTIFUL, STRAWBERRIES! Then my grandfather ‘s birthday is on the 18th and he turns 88 years old and still works every day, we are very blessed! Have a great month of April, Be Safe and Ride Smart, Don't Drink and Ride and I'll see you soon!

Over my last month’s travels and conversations with people, one of the things that stood out in all the conversations I have had with many of you, is that people in general didn’t really understand about investments, investment accounts or how to protect themselves financially. You should really know where your money is and at minimum have an understanding of how financial markets work. It can be very overwhelming and I understand that. Most people I talk to just let someone else do the work for them. With so much going on with the economy, the political environment and the situation in China and around the world, it is critical you understand who is investing your money, why they are investing in certain areas and wondering where it really is? Do you remember 2008 and how long it has taken to recover from that disaster? The majority of people I speak with especially here in Florida also don't understand that there are vehicles that can help you shelter your dollars. I was also astounded at how many people do not have a will, power of attorney and or provisions for their children. As a fellow rider I am here to be your voice of reason, your family is depending on it and/or at minimum leave it to your favorite charity. Some people asked me, well how do you know when markets may turn or should I leave it under the mattress or even just as bad the bank earning nothing. With the average rate of inflation over the years running around 3%. Why would you want your money to earn nothing? So what is the answer? If you don’t know or cannot tell someone where your money is invested you need to call me, as I would love to sit down with you and explain in simple terms what this all means. Markets move in cycles and almost without fail they have had corrections about every 7 years. With the up coming presidential election you really need to know more than ever what makes a market move one way or another. It could be a simple statement from a political candidate on a certain subject or news about the global situation. Interest rates have been very low for many years and with the Federal Open Market Committee meeting on a quarterly basis they are looking to start raising rates, which has a very definitive affect on the average consumer because of the trickledown theory. In other words, if a company has to pay more for the working capital they borrow to use, then their prices must go up and it affects the stock/bond markets with the ultimate price paid by the average consumer. If you have money in the bank, don’t look to start making better returns on those monies any time soon.
It takes a while to affect savings interest rates. Inform yourself keep your money safe. I explain and explain. If you are working with someone whether it is your advisor, accountant or attorney, ask questions. We can always help you work with your other advisors. Or call us and we can help you determine what to ask. Hey, I could not repair my motorcycles or car to save my life. I go to an expert on that and I ask and ask because I know I need to be informed. Do that with your investments or your 401k, even your bank accounts. If you don’t understand ask! Every question when it comes to your financial health is important to your future. Protect your future get informed. Did you know that there are so many opportunities that you do not have to pay a fee for, your original investment is secure and you get the upside of the Russell or the S & P which equate to a gain in up to 7 to 8% at the same time. The best part is if the markets fall your original investment IS SECURE. Safeguard yourself and arm yourself with knowledge. It is not a secret. I pride myself in making something very complicated simple to understand. It would be like me taking my Harley to the dealership and them talking engine talk. Nope I want to know what the simple part is and can it be fixed. Because I want to be safe on the roads. With the political year heating up you will see many peaks and valleys as candidates debate issues. If you are nearing or in retirement, STOP lock in your principal investment today and stop risking what you have worked so hard for. Ask yourself do I have another 7 years to regain any losses if the answer is no. Call me and I will walk you through hedging anything you own. Also protect yourself against outside issues. Get the legal help you need we can refer you to some great resources in that field, help you with you decide what you want to happen in case of an emergency or your passing. Get you the peace of mind you deserve. Knowledge is power: I can help you with that so you can continue to enjoy life without worrying about whether you are losing that money you worked so hard to earn. Hi All, Let's see what can I tell you about 75th annual of Daytona Bike week, It was the best 12 days in Daytona that I have had in a long time, The camping was good but it was a bit cold the first weekend. We worked through that and had the best time. The last night at camp of course we partied our a** off . The Full Throttle tent at International Speedway started off in a really slow spot but talked to the management and got the best spot out there after the first day. The tent set-up was next to Ultimate Rentals & Catering and I made a new friend, Rob. He made the best pulled pork and pulled turkey sandwiches. if you are in Daytona for an event at the speedway look them up & tell them Dew told you to stop by!! There were 4 bikes shows this year! They were at Saints & Sinners @ Destination Daytona, the Winghouse on International Speedway, the Boardwalk and the finale was at the Daytona International Speedway and each one was a success. OK, its time to talk about something exciting for the Leesburg Bikefest! Full Throttle is going to start the Bikefest off with the first Friday Bike Show!! Look for the ad in this month magazine for the details!! If you are camping the ABATE of Florida Lake County Chapter is hosting a place to camp at the Eagles. The ad is in the March issue of Full Throttle...and tell them Dew told you to call for the best place to camp with great pricing. They even have food, drinks and entertainment!! Till next time, live life to the fullest and party your a** off. Dew

Greetings Bikers.,.. Welcome to The Back Yard. Well, we had a great time in Daytona for the 75th Daytona Bike Week. I was honored to be the Emcee at Full Moon Saloon on Historic Main Street. We had record crowds each day to come out and see rockin’ bands, the lovey ladies teams form our great sponsors, and the Clydesdales all on Main Street. April is just a busy with Leesburg Bikefest and then I’m off to beautiful Panama City Beach for Thunder Beach Spring Rally. Once 44
again I’ll be Emcee at Boardwalk Beach Resort. We have a great line up each day of the rally so be sure and check out Boardwalk Beach Resorts add in this month’s Full Throttle Magazine. To everyone on the roads remember this is motorcycle season here in Florida so please slow down and look both ways. Be safe everyone and remember. Always keep you stick on the ice. MONGO

What is S.E.C.T.O.R.7 u ask...!?
payment for what we do.
"Sector7 stands for Sports-bike Charity Theme Otaku Riders... We combined our LOVE of motorcycles, the ART of cosplaying & the JOY of giving out smiles to kids where ever we go! Let it be known, we are a non-profit organization that doesn’t expect
While on the subject, we are NOT a MC ether. But rather a group of independent riders that came together to form a TEAM for worthy causes. While giving a "positive spin" on the biker community & breaking DOWN new walls within the Cosplay culture. Proving that "anyone" can have FUN, doing what they LOVE and become MORE than ourselves. Because there is NO better feeling, than being able to brighting a kid's day & enjoying the reactions of others around us while cruising on a motorcycle in the middle of the day" ~Bumblebee / Founder and Team Leader S.E.C.T.O.R.7 was Officially established two years ago by two guys that had a dream to give back to the community. What started with ONE seeking out others like himself, with a April fool's announcement. Quickly expanded to TWO with a unique bond & adjective to simply have FUN while doing it! And with each event Sector7 attended, they expanded their ranks with a "new recruit" to the cause. What started with two men is now 20+ members strong now. With everyday men and women who want to give back to the Greater Good and to making kids dream's come true too seeing their heroes ride up on a motorcycles. "This amazing thing happened because 1 man had an idea, and he randomly met another man with an extreme inspiration. That inspiration, my inspiration came from my niece who believed the world would be a much better place if there were REAL heros. We all have our various reasons for being here, but at its core this team lives because of that hope. From her. From us. From everyone. It's why we joined. In closing let me say, it's been almost 2 years and she has "no idea" her uncle is in fact Batman and that he knows such amazing people. ~Batman / Co-Founder "People always ask us why we do the things
50
we do. Think back to your childhood and how you would have like to meet your favorite hero. Children look up to heroes as someone they wanna be like when they grow up. There is nothing more rewarding then feeling the tug on your cape and turning around with a gleam in a child’s eyes and a smile from ear to ear. Plus the gratitude in a parents eyes and a thank you in there voice. ~Superman / Sector7 Agent "Heroes can come in many forms. A parent, a first responder, a soldier or a teacher. Not all heroes were fiction. In a world of self serving people, only a select will donate time, money & energy to put not only a smile on a child's face but to all they come across transcending all barriers that separate us as a people. Don’t get me wrong there is a brotherhood in riding motorcycles indeed, however the bond doesn’t end there. Serving the community is a selfless act and a very super heroic thing that we do, one I am PROUD to do! ~StarLord / Sector7 Agent "As a team we look for more things to do to serve our community. As a team we have been to several comiccons in the area and enjoy going to different places to spread joy to children and their families. We have done fallen heroes rides, charity rides for the families of fallen bikers. We have also teamed up with predator patrol to help teach children about the safety’s and dangers of accepting candy from strangers. We have helped grant wishes for kids, Teddy bear runs for hostipals & attended a Kids camp for Faces of Courage. We help with fundraisers to raise money for schools and help share GOFUNDME pages for those in need. These are some of the things we have done in the last two years, since Sector7 formed. So yA, looking back at what "WE" have done as a team, it's been one hell of a journey indeed... From a simply IDEA, that became so much MORE to so many ppl on so many levels, has been a dream come true. So I for one, am looking Forward, to seeing what the FUTURE holds for Sector7" ~Bumblebee "We would like to thank tony @ full throttle magazine for this opportunity to show the community who we are and what we do." ~ Sector7 Team

This month I had the pleasure of interviewing the owner of VENICE POWERSPORTS 413 Laurel Rd East, Nokomis, FL 34275 (941) 484-8880 Hours: Monday – Friday 8AM–5PM E-mail: venicepowersports@aol.com www.venicepowersports.com Hank Riley has always been interested in motorcycles since he was a kid riding on his first Z-50 mini bike. He is 38, but has accomplished a lot in his time here in Florida. He opened up VENICE POWERSPORTS in November, 2013! But quoting Hank, “he couldn’t have done it without Will and Mike! Hank is from Indiana (just outside of Indianapolis) where his folks still live. He is his biggest inspiration inspiring him to succeed
at VENICE POWERSPORTS. Hank has worked on some jet skis for some very famous people, but doesn’t care to name drop!
It is called VENICE POWERSPORTS because originally they were looking for a building in Venice. The building turned out to be too small, and they ended up in Nokomis, but they didn’t change the name. They are the only Powersports dealer between ACTION KAWASAKI YAMAHA (941-745-9521) in Bradenton and DESTINATION POWERSPORTS in Punta Gorda (941-639-2155). Best way to reach you? Phone 941-484-8880 or 941-484-1606 At VENICE POWERSPORTS, they service probably 80% watercraft and the rest motorcycles. At this time of year, they get a lot of cruisers and dirt bike customers. They also do ATV’s and side-by-side. At VENICE POWERSPORTS, you get the personal touch! Hank does all the work himself, so no need to explain yourself twice. There is no mis-communication. Hank makes sure that everything WORKS and the right way or it doesn’t leave the shop! And the prices are very reasonable too – his labor rate is $80! What is your greatest achievement? Getting the opportunity to open this place with the help of Will Sparkman and Mike Smith. Those two guys were very key in getting this place going! Wil was the owner of the Yamaha dealer next door. He decided that he didn’t want to do it anymore, and gave me a leg up in starting VENICE POWERSPORTS. Mike Smith was working with me at the dealership. Then he came over here with me to VENICE POWERSPORTS and really hit it hard for two years. Without them, I don’t know what I’d do! What is your biggest regret? Not moving to FLORIDA sooner. Being in this business, Florida has taught me a lot. Answering the questions of “What makes you different than most shops? Hank’s answer was, “You get the personal touch here at VENICE POWERSPORTS!”. They do not have bike nights yet, but they want to! They do organize a ride for water-craft though. What are your future plans? To keep the place alive, keep going…not trying to get too big. I like the personal touch… Do you sell after-market products? Yes we do…we have pretty much all the distributors any other shop would have… Tucker Rocky, Parts Unlimited, Western Powersports, SBT, ProMarine.. Describe yourself in 3 words? Motivated and Grumpy! Three things you love? Motorcycles,
58
time off from work, and WORK ACTUALLY! Three things you dislike? Being too busy, not having any time to get away from this place, and TRAFFIC! If you were starting over right now, what would you do differently? I would slow down! What was your first bike and overall favorite bike? Honda Z-50 Mini Bike and CBR-900RR What are you current building? Some really fast jet skis for some local people. We don’t build so much as it is a repair shop. We install tires; do oil changes, a kind of general maintenance shop. And that’s the way we like it! There’s really not a lot of money in for performance in this area. What is the most common mistake new motorcycle shops make? I’d say not having the right people involved and trying to go too big too fast. I’d really like to thank FULL THROTTLE for this interview! I’d like to thank Will Sparkman and Mike Smith for getting VENICE POWERSPORTS to where it is today! And THANK YOU to my girlfriend because I put in a lot of hours! She is very understanding! And I’d like to thank OUR CUSTOMERS who believe in this place! Without you, VENICE POWERSPORTS wouldn’t be the successful business that it is; and I’d like to thank John Havell of Action Kawasaki Yamaha! THANK YOU!!! **** Jim Ferrara (SEA BREEZE MARINA 941-7476311)had very bad surgery and can’t go back to work! Rick Butler (COASTAL CRUISERS 941-6276686)was in a motorcycle accident the end of February and broke his leg in three places! My prayers and everyone at FULL THROTTLE MULTI-MEDIA goes with you! GOD BLESS!!! I visited these amazing shops: Christmas Traditions (941-358-0100) Custom Carts (888-860-3228) Get Coastal Exteriors (941-417-2521) Jesus Tire & Mechanic Shop, Inc. (941-981-3350) Loony Bin (941-255-5999) Sunset Kia (941-752-1000) Whalen Motorsports (941769-0103) Til next issue, Nancy p., Full Throttle rep. Ride Safe, and RIDE WHENEVER YOU CAN!

One day at the end of class, little Johnny’s teacher asks the class to go home and think of a story to be concluded with the moral of that story. The following day the teacher asks for the first volunteer to tell their story. Little Suzy raises her hand. “My dad owns a farm and every Sunday we load the chicken eggs on the truck and drive into town to sell them at the market. Well, one Sunday we hit a big bump and all the eggs flew out of the basket and onto the road.” When the teacher asked for the moral of the story, Suzy replied, “Don’t keep all your eggs in one basket.” Little Lucy went next. “My dad owns a farm too. Every weekend we take the chicken eggs and put them in the incubator. Last weekend only eight of the 12 eggs hatched.” Again, the teacher asked for the moral of the story. Lucy replied, “Don’t count your chickens before they hatch.” Next up was little Johnny. “My uncle Ted fought in the Vietnam war, and his plane was shot down over enemy territory. He jumped out before it crashed but could only take a case of beer, a machine gun and a machete. On the way down, he drank the case of beer. Then he landed right in the middle of 100 Vietnamese soldiers. He shot 70 with his machine gun, but then he ran out of bullets! So he pulled out his machete and killed 20 more. Then the blade on his machete broke, so he killed the last ten with his bare hands.” The teacher looked a little shocked. After clearing her throat, she asked what possible moral there could be to this story. “Well,” Johnny replied, “Don’t f**k with Uncle Ted when he’s been drinking.
Bob was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary. His wife was really angry. She told him “Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in 6 seconds AND IT BETTER BE THERE!” The next morning he got up early and left for work. Are you kidding?” The interviewer replies, “Yeah, but you started it.”

***************************** It was Saturday night and the preacher still hadn’t been able to think of a sermon for the next morning. About 9:00 p.m. he finally said to his wife, “Dear, I think I’ve come up with the perfect sermon! I’m going to give a sermon about horseback riding!” She said, “Don’t be silly! You can’t give a sermon about horseback riding!” He replied, “Well, it’s going to have to do because I’ve preached on just about every other subject I can think of.” The next morning as they were driving to church, she said, “I can’t believe that you’re insisting on doing this! You know, If you’re going to give that silly sermon on horseback riding, I’m just going to stay in the car during the service.” He said, “OK, then, suit yourself!”, so she stayed in the car. Entering church before the service, the preacher had a sudden inspiration and gave a hell-fire and brimstone sermon on SEX that just had the congregation in awe. As the congregation filed out of the church, some of he members saw his wife sitting in the car and approached her window. One of them said, “Wow! you just missed the best sermon your husband has EVER given!” She said, “Yeah, right! What does he know about it! He talks big but he’s only tried it twice in his life! “Once before we were married and once after, and he fell off both times!”

The Ladies Ride I got up early as usual, and not quite shaking off the night's sleep, I began checking my daily venues; Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Email, Text, Messenger and noteworthy news. I'm always thorough about what I read and especially with reviewing what I post. Going over my Notifications on Facebook, I noticed the common "post your picture with your bike," which I did. However, this was the one time I didn't really carefully read the rules for the post!
cluded beautiful Florida Full Throttle Magazine banners (a loyal fan!!)!!! Whaaaat??!! Now the situation starts escalating as a great surge in enthusiasm from a bunch of our local biker bums, including me, and my bros Eric Sprague and Bruce Arider, start trying to muscle in on the chickies ride!! Well, she acquiesced and allowed a small contingent to join. Cynthia Torres and Norden Abrams rolled in, then Mags O'Malley, followed by Audra Curtis, Reny Darias, as well as Si Mone and Monique Burn....to name a few. In short, it was a huge tribe of riding Amazons!! Wow....
I posted my pic and not three minutes later did The Ladies fearless leader, Terri MariaTeresa Darias, blasted me to delete my picture as it was only a Ladies Ride!! Holy crap....boy did I feel stupid!! Needless to say, I totally freaked out and immediately went to delete my picture. One small problem though! A "minor malfunction" (of course) with my screen freezing at exactly the wrong time wouldn't let me delete the friggin picture, further adding to my chronic, progressive brain damage!!
So, as The Ladies rolled in and we started hanging around, it was quite clear that we were being totally ignored as they huddled in circles like warriors getting ready for battle. All we could do was look on as forbidden outcasts!! After being shunned during their complete takeover and dominance on the lot at Cafe 27 before our departure, they all started mounting their bikes and cranking them to life.
Finally, the screen came back to life and after what seemed an eternity, And then....guess what??!! One of I was able to delete my picture from the their bikes wouldn't The local biker bums trying to muscle in on the ladies. midst of all The Ladies posts. start, and of course From left: Pablo Full Throttle, Bruce Arider, and Eric Sprague they were slack jawed I proceeded to apologize to Terri (while and clueless as to what hiding under my motorcycle fearing I was to do next. being watched) and luckily she took it in stride and started laughing her ass off!! Anyway, I told her I was so freaked and embarrassed by the ribbing I would suffer from the guys that I was moving to Mexico!! I guess my bro Bruce Arider was in so much pain from laughter he showed some sympathy and came to my rescue.... brotherhood is still alive and well!! Whew! It gets better!! M'Lady Her Majesty Terri decides to post, before I have fully recovered, that Pablo Full Throttle would be covering the event and even in-

Naturally we all slapped and hugged each other like victorious conquerors reaping the rewards of a territorial takeover. We gloated over our abilities to quickly and effortlessly handle biking problems. As a final reminder of our expendability, our elation came to an abrupt end as a sweet little voice from the tight group of giggling chickies clearly uttered the devastating words, "Well at least they're good for something"!!
