Hello Full Throttle readers! I don't know about you but I am very happy to see that spring has finally sprung! I am loving this weather, not too hot during the day yet and still a crisp in the air at night! Full Throttle is starting to plan all of our spring and summer time runs that will be happening in the next few months. Be sure to keep watching the magazine, our facebook page (www.facebook.com/FLFTmag) and our weekly e-mail blast for all the great rides we do this time of the year. As always, you can find us each and every Wednesday night next to the amazing Attorney Fran M. Haasch (www.LawFran.com) booth at Quaker Steak and Lube in Clearwater. The next few months we have some great rides and events planned. First, in the month of April, We are helping St. Pete Powersports (Indian Motorcycle of St. Pete) with their Grand Opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Indian motorcycles showroom. We have FREE FOOD AND DRINKS, a bike show, bikini contest and live bands all day long. This is a great opportunity to check out the new 2015 Indian Motorcycles and everything else St. Pete Powersports has to offer. Second, is of course Leesburg Bike Fest April 24th - 26th. Full Throttle will be set up at our usual location on Main street in front of the Library. This is probably one of my favorite events of the year as bikers take over the town and it is one heck of a party! In May we have two fun runs, The Tuck-A-Buck poker run (ADULTS ONLY) that visits 5 adult establishments in Pinellas and Pasco County, it's not for everybody but we all have a lot of fun on this ride! Second in May is our 5 Bridge Poker Run, this ride goes over the 5 major bridges that connect the Tampa Bay Area: Howard Franklin, Bayside, Courtney Campbell, Gandy and the biggest bridge in the area the Skyway! We are starting at Hogan's Beach and ending at a new place in Bradenton, PUB 41. This place rocks and has a swimming pool so bring your suits to jump in the pool at the end of the ride. In June (JUNE 13TH) we always have the SOAKED AND SORE ASS POKER RUN, the ride this year is starting at Java's Coffee and More in Palm Harbor on the corner of Alt. 19 and Alderman and heading to Panama City Beach where the end party will be at Sharkey's. We did this ride a long time ago and stayed at the same place so I am excited to be going back to this great destination. Be sure to book your rooms now for this ride, there is an ad in this month's magazine with room rates and all the info you need to make your reservations. July we will be doing a 4th of July party with the Black Honkey's and the Bearded Brothers and fireworks at the new ROC (Remember Our Children) park in Madeira Beach, there will be more info to come in next month's magazine. For our last event update for now we will also be doing our Christmas in July Toy Run From Tampa Harley to St. Joseph's Children's Hospital and ending at a Tampa Yankee's Game again but we are looking at making it more an afternoon into the evening ride so it will be a little cooler outside and the Yankee's game has fireworks at the end for a nice treat for everyone. Full Throttle lost three great people in the past few months and it has really been tough. I would like to send my love and condolences to the friends and family or our fellow Full Throttle brothers: Scott Burke, Phil Serletic and Vernon Fayette. Three people that were very close to Full Throttle Magazine. Happy birthday to everyone with a birthday in the month of April, especially my Beautiful wife Tonya Cianci (STRAWBERRIES <3), my oldest daughter who turns SWEET 16, Krystiana Hoseclaw (Love you pumpkin) and my Grandfather Paul F. Cianci (Love ya Pops). Be safe, ride smart, don't drink and ride and I'll see you in Leesburg!

Daytona Bike week is over and it looks like it was one of the worst ones ever. They didn't have the people this year that they always have – maybe its turned into a florida bike week. It's all about money money money – vendors and everyone are paying more. You can buy a Daytona T shirt at webster for $5 and the same shirt is $25 at Daytona. Incidentally Webster had a great turn out this week – vendors and people. They are going to start doing a swap meet at howards flea market the third sunday of every month. You might want to check it out. I am in a wheel chair and a scooter and I went to Eustis swap meet at the fair grounds and it wasnt jam packed like it used to be but there was a good crowd and people are good. Tim Estes drove me to the one in Daytona, no where to park on hard ground and they
40
had a tractor pulling cars out of the mud – drizzling rain and couldnt go due to the wheel chair. Went up the road to jam on and enjoyed it – place to park. Always enjoyed it and they have moved up to the Daytona Flea market near the speedway – I like it better than the fairgrounds. Went by the fairgrounds and there was nothing going on. Orlando HD had a crowd and the cabbage patch was packed. They had something for everyone. Several others had a crowd – its turning into a Fla bike week – everyone pays a lot and they write a lot of tickets – people come to florida and go everywhere except Daytona – they say it was off 30%, I think its more. Theres so much going on elsewhere theres no need to go to Daytona. I want to thank Cheryl the physcical therapist and the others at Ever Green Woods – I didnt like the facility but some of the people were great. See you soon Cheryl.

Hi All, I am sitting back and relaxing after a long 13 days. Yes, it was Daytona Bike week and as usual we camped which is a lot of work for us because we put up a big camp just for the two of us as you can see in the pictures but well worth it for us too! We got there much later than planned on Wednesday evening and decided to drop off the truck and equipment and then find a hotel - when we got back to the camp the next morning the man who checked us in (CJ) asked 'Are you Dew?' and I said 'Yes, why?' He then told me I did a story on him and his bike and he brought out a scrap book to show me the article I had written! Wow, it was a while ago because the picture on the article was at least 10 or 11 years back! I have a feeling it was way back when I first started working with Full Throttle Magazine! We had a great time over those almost 2 weeks - camp fires most nights, relaxing in the evening and the best day/night was on Sunday/Monday after everyone left and we got to really relax before breaking down camp. They have offered us the opportunity to come back for Biketoberfest - hope we see a few more of you out there with us who like to camp! (YES it was clothing optional - but none of us are nudist and there were only a few other campers in the campground who did opt to be nude - well you have all seen someone naked so no big deal!) The next event is Leesburg Bike Week.....and we will be camping again! We will be staying at the Abate campground at the Eagles - 27150 Haywood Worm Farms Road, Okahumpka 346762 - You can contact Griz @ 352-742-7754 or Shorty @ 352-302-4783. See ya there! Live life to the fullest and party your a$$ off! Dew

Many who already know me but to those who don't let me introduce myself I am Shelly the office manager of Full Throttle Magazine. I have been with this amazing magazine and team for year January2015 and what great journey and adventures I have been blessed with. This being my first article I have ever written so is very to dear to me to share the journey of meeting thru the Biker Builder Invitational Expo to very special men. Dave Leishman and Mike Tomalesky Of D and M Motorcycles “Two Old Guys in a Garage” Why such interest well I am a proud Buell Blast owner and during the awards ceremony of the Expo winning 3rd place in the radical build was Dave Leishman with a Radical Build called its “A Blast” Using a Buell Blast single cylinder 500cc engine in a redneck engineering frame. The wheels and front-end were scavenged from a Suzuki XN 85. When bike was done the only Buell parts left were the engine (ported to 515c), swing arm (modified) and top triple tree. Who were these two old guys in garage? Dave Leishman a native Canadian settling in Clearwater who's father was in the auto repair business introduced him to things mechanical. He was soon customizing scooters, cars, go-carts and motorcycles. For many years Dave's only transportation was a motorcycle. He restored several vintage bikes so it goes without saying creating custom bikes is in his blood. Mike lived in Clearwater since 1967 and learned at early age designing and building from his father. His dad introduced him to the BMW motorcycle teaching him to ride. Mike retired as Assistant Superintendent from Pinellas County School System. In 1986 Dave and Mike met for the first time at the model home center of the subdivision in which they both were buying houses exactly across from each other. 2004 they bought their first 2005 Sportsters they idea being see how long they veteran riders would stay interested in motorcycles. 2005 Both Sportsters were heavily customized which resulted in D and M motto: 'Leave nothing Stock”. Dave went for chrome, fairings and performance. Mike wanted to “retorize” his bike into an old school style. Dave read in Full Throttle Magazine about the Florida Bike Builders Invitational and called for application in 2007. When the application arrived had a spot for company name and thats where the D and M was birthed. D for Dave and M for Mike.. Two old guys in garage is a fact for all the work of build-
ing is done in Dave's two car garage. 2007 was their first debut in Florida's Bike Builders Invitational with the bike called “Limited” even though it was a beautiful contender, it did not win. D and M has attended every invitational since 2007 of which is 8 straight years they have won 5 times out of the 8 years. The win of the “Its blast” brought Dave and Mike to my desk in February to pick up their trophy from the Expo 2015. They seen my Buell in parking lot and conversation began. Dave commented on my Facebook profile for his Buell winner was my profile. He told me he had some parts he did not need and my mind began turning. As I escorted them out of the office we looked at my bike and Dave said' I have offer you can't refuse I will create you a one of a kind Buell from my excess parts and you will have close to mine. But let me warn you I get carried away.” I told him I was to leave for Daytona bike week in 17 days, he commented I’ll have you a winner. On January 21 I dropped my Buell Bee at the shop/home of D and M Motorcycles I was told to take a picture because this was the last of the Buell bee and I was not allowed to see until the unveiling. 17 days later I arrived in Daytona and my bike was putting the pressure on D and M for the grand debut for the Ride in Bike show on the Boardwalk 13th of March. My Bike arrived via the back of my boyfriend’s truck Scott Hutchinson's on Friday the 6th I at 11 pm I walked out of the home we were staying in to find this. I dropped to my knees cried with joy and then had to fire it up while still in the truck. She went to Boardwalk show on Friday and won 2nd place in her class 0-750cc. I have been blessed on my journeys and adventures since I have joined Full Throttle Magazine. Met some amazing people and seen amazing things. Thanks to my boss and owner and his lovely wife Tony and Tonya Cianci for planting the seed of blessing me with the Buell and thanks to D and M Motorcycle for giving me an adventure of owning one of a kind Black Dahlia. So it doesn’t matter if you’re in the field or behind a desk life is full of awesome journeys with great adventures. Until my next amazing adventures from the desk of shelly!

This month I had the pleasure of interviewing the owner (Doug Thompson) of:
BULLSEYE INDOOR PISTOL RANGE & PAWN
Located at: 1012 – 10th Street, East Palmetto, FL 34221 941-729-7906 bullseyeipr@yahoo.com bullseyeindoorindoorpistolrangeandgunshop.com Answering the question of what makes you different from most gun shops, Doug replied, “A gun shop that provides customer service instead of just guns.” That’s why BULLSEYE INDOOR PISTOL RANGE has continued successfully since October, 2009. There is a lot of competition out there for gun shops and ranges. But, when you come to BULLSEYE INDOOR PISTOL RANGE & PAWN, you are greeted with a smile from one of the six employees (Bret Hagleberg, Brian Kisluk, Rich Hamady, Jeff Wilson, Tim Davis, and Andy Mickel). Not only can you acquire new or used guns, but they sell ammo, eye protection, ear protection, holsters, pepper spray, - and most importantly of all - a clean, safe, shooting range with great customer service! At BULLSEYE INDOOR PISTOL RANGE, they cater to LADIES, CHILDREN (educating children about gun safety), VETERANS and COUPLES. They even have reduced rates for these groups to shoot. At BULLSEYE INDOOR PISTOL RANGE, they want people to be well educated. You can even take a course ($50) where they teach you how to clean your gun and be comfortable with it also. There are 9 shooting lanes, all indoor. In order use the range, you have become a member of BULLSEYE INDOOR PISTOL RANGE. That consists of providing ID which lasts for a year. At the time of this interview, BULLSEYE INDOOR PISTOL RANGE has 22,000 members! Doug’s future plans for BULLSEYE INDOOR PISTOL RANGE include providing wonderful customer service and treating their customers LIKE FAMILY and (with all that parking space) to expand to eventually hosting car shows, an auction, gun shows, and a BIKE NIGHT! There are lots of plans being made, so stay tuned! BULLSEYE INDOOR PISTOL RANGE is convenient too with

He’s 86, she’s 83. Both lost their spouses many years ago. They met in an old folks home and have been inseparable for 7 years. Playing bridge, going to the movies, just enjoying each others company. One day he says “We aren’t getting any younger, we should get married.” She thinks for a minute and says “What about sex? We’ve “OK,” she says, “but how are you in bed?” never discussed that”. He thinks for a minute and says “Infrequently.” She thinks for a minute He replies, “I rang the doorbell, didn’t I?” and asks “Is that one word or two?” ****************************

John O’Reilly hoisted his beer and said, “Here’s to spending the rest of me life, between the legs of me wife !” That won him the top prize at the pub for the best toast of the night ! He went home and told his wife, Mary, “I won the prize for the best toast of The night.” She said, “Aye, did ye now. And what was your toast?” John said, “Here’s to spending the rest of me life, sitting in church beside me wife.” “Oh, that is very nice indeed, John !” Mary said. The next day, Mary ran into one of John ‘s drinking buddies on the street corner. The man chuckled leeringly and said, “John won the prize the other night at the pub with a toast about you, Mary.” She said, “Aye, he told me, and I was a bit surprised me-self. You know, he’s only been in there twice in the last four years. Once I had to pull him by the ears to make him come, and the other time he fell asleep.”
A Priest was about to leave his Mission in the jungle where he has spent years teaching the natives when he realizes that the one thing he never taught them was how to speak English. So he takes the chief for a walk in the forest. He points to a tree and says to the chief, “This is a tree.” The chief looks at the tree and grunts, “Tree.” The Priest is pleased with the response. They walk a little further and he points to a rock and says, “This is a rock.” Hearing this, the chief looks and grunts, “Rock.” The Priest was really getting enthusiastic about the results when he hears a rustling in the bushes. As they peek over the top, he sees a couple of natives in the midst of heavy sexual activity. The Priest is really fl ustered and quickly responds, “Man riding a bike.” The chief looks at the couple briefl y, pulls out his blowgun and kills them. The Priest goes ballistic and yells at the chief that he has spent years teaching the tribe how to be civilized and be kind to each other, so how could he kill these people in cold blood that way? The chief replied, “My bike

She sees no one and starts to close the door when she catches sight of a man on her stoop with no arms and no legs. “Oh my! I’m sorry, I almost didn’t see you,” she says. “May I help you?” The man replies, “Yes, I’m here about your ad.” “What ad?,” she says. “The ad looking for a man.” “Oh,” she says, “and how do you, um, fi t my description?” “Well, I have no arms, so I can’t beat you. And, I have no legs, so I can’t run around on you.”

She heard the train stop and her son said, “All of you sons of bitches who want off , get the hell off now, cause this is the last stop! And all of you sons of bitches who are getting on, get your asses in the train, cause we’re going down the tracks.” The mother went nuts and told her son, “We don’t use that kind of language in this house. Now I want you to go to your room and you are to stay there for TWO HOURS. When you come out, you may play with your train, but I want you to use nice language.” Two hours later, the son comes out of the bedroom and resumes playing with his train. Soon the train stopped and the mother heard her son say, “All passengers who are disembarking from the train, please remember to take all of your belongings with you. We thank you for riding with us today and hope your trip was a pleasant one. We hope you will ride with us again soon.” She hears the little boy continue, “For those of you just boarding, we ask you to stow all of your hand luggage under your seat. Remember, there is no smoking on the train. We hope you will have a pleasant and relaxing journey with us today.” As the mother began to smile, the child added, “For those of you who are pissed off about the TWO HOUR delay, please see the bitch in the kitchen.”

Full Throttle Magazine had a great time at Bike Week this year. I have heard a lot of people say the attendance was down, and maybe it was for the first weekend or during the week. But I think the second week/weekend of Bike Week was busier than I can ever remember. I personally have never seen the streets shut down on Main Street before like I saw when Godsmack played at Full Moon Saloon. There were so many people there to see the show the cops had to shut down the streets to traffic for over two hours. Even the police Chief said in the past 11 years he has never seen that. Full Throttle had booths set up at Dirty Harry's, Main Street Station and Destination Daytona under the Coke Pavilion. We handed out thousands of magazine all 10 days! I Would personally like to thank my staff who worked hard each and every day in Daytona. It's not easy sitting in one place all day saying the same thing over and over to random people. So a big thank you to Shelly, Scott, Dew, Anne, Charlie, Georgia Boy and Gamo for all your hard work! Full Throttle Hosted three bike shows at

Cont. From Pg 72 Bike Week this year and each of them was a huge success with special thanks to all of our Sponsors including Rockford Fosgate, J&P Cycles and Attorney Fran M. Haasch! The first one was on Thursday at the Coke Pavilion where we had almost 100 entries into the show! Our second show was the Boardwalk Bike Show and we had around 120 bike in the show, that is amazing! Our last show was new to us and we did a Baggers Only Show on the Boardwalk on Saturday. We had over 30 amazing entries in this show and they were all top quality bikes, but we learned a lot about when to do this show for Biketoberfest and beyond. We took a ton of pictures and had a great time. To see all the pictures we took go to our facebook page where we uploaded albums daily to our page, www.facebook.com/FLFTmag. We look forward to seeing everyone again in October For Biketoberfest!
