Here we are in the month of March and Bike Week and spring is upon us! This is going to be one of the biggest Bike Week’s ever as it is the 75th Anniversary! Full Throttle will be all over the place doing bike shows and handing out magazines. We have 4 bike shows we are doing around the Daytona area this year. I will also be judging the huge bikini contest that happens at Winghouse on Thursday March 10th at the International Speedway location. Be sure to stop by and see us at any of the bike shows we are hosting or at Dirty Harry’s or the Daytona International Speedway! Full Throttle will be hosting four great bike shows around the Daytona area. Our First bike show is Sat March 5th at Saints and Sinners at Destination Daytona. This is the first time we will be doing at there as we were normally at the Coke pavilion but now that is Jesters Live with some great concerts happening over the 10 days of Bike Week. Our second show is at Winghouse on international Drive on Tuesday March 8th. This will be the first time doing a show at Winghouse and we would love to have a huge turn out!!! Our third show is one of the longest running shows in Daytona, The Boardwalk Bike Show Friday March 11th. Full Throttle officially took this over at Biketoberfest and Bill Chaffin is still a huge part of putting this event together! We would like to thank Dino, his staff, Bill and everyone involved who helps make this event successful! We usually have over 150 bikes in the show for Bike Week!!! Our last show is going to be the LARGEST cash prize bike show in Daytona for Bike Week at the Daytona International Speedway Saturday March 12th! $1,000 for best in show and $500 for judge’s choice as well as a 10 class bike show with trophies for 1st and 2nd place. If you have any questions, please feel free to call our office at 727-935-4875. Full Throttle is growing by leaps and bounds as we have brought on 4 new sales reps to cover a larger area of the state. Pablo is doing a great job in South Florida and is making Full Throttle the magazine to know down there! His first ad is Cartel Baggers and if you don’t know who they are then you don’t know the South Florida Bagger community! We are very excited to see this growth in our community! If you are looking to be a part of Full Throttle magazine, please contact us for info. We pay 20% commission on ads, you get embroidered polo shirts, business cards and an article in every month’s issue. Come aboard and LIVE LIFE FULL THROTTLE!!! Full Throttle has also started a new business within a business, EVENT PLANNING AND PROMOTIONS. Do you want to have an event at your location but don’t know where to start? We can help you and host your event from beginning to end and you can focus on doing your business. From Bike Nights to 3 day mega bashes, we have the connections and people to help make any event a success. We can help get stages, sound, bands, vendors, emcee, advertising, sponsors, biker games, entertainment, bike shows, stunt shows, raffle prizes or anything else you want at your event. Call us today and let’s set up a meeting for your next big event! Full Throttle 727-935-4875. March also marks three years since buying the magazine from my father, Paul Allen. It has been a great time and we are very pleased with where the magazine was and where it is now three years later. This November we will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary! We are looking to make it a huge celebration with a ton of great prizes and give-a-ways. We are also planning on some of the big events we do each year like the 5 bridge run, tuck-a-buck poker run, soaked and sore ass ride and a few others. We will have more info in the April issue on all the upcoming events. Thank you everyone for being loyal readers and be sure to like our Facebook page and sign up for our weekly e-mail blast on our website! I would also like to wish my Dad, Paul and our amazing attorney sponsor, advertiser and friend FRAN HAASCH a very special happy birthday! Be safe, be smart, don’t drink and ride and LIVE LIFE FULL THROTTLE!!!! STRAWBERRIES XOXOXO

In today's environment it's not how much money you earn; it's how much you keep that is also just as important. As we have all worked too hard to earn every dollar we have made. You might think the money is safe in your personal bank account or under the mattress, this will cost you dearly. Don't let this be you because inflation is an important issue. We all remember what we paid for our first house and what it is worth today. I paid $25,000 for my first house and today it would sell for $275,000. Everyone needs to pay close attention not only to their affairs but their aging parents affairs as well. It can be unsettling for investors when their portfolios and the markets start heading into the red. Here are six investing basics to keep in mind during volatile times.

STORM WARNING! STORM WARNING!! STORM WARNING!!! Now that I have your attention...I'm talking about the band, STORM WARNING! It all started back on Labor Day, 2014, when Cody & Joe went to an "open jam" at Flounders in Englewood Beach, got up on stage, that's when they met Butch, and played their first 2 songs, with the host bands bass player, and floored the crowd, which asked them to play a few more, 2 songs turned into 10 before they could get off the stage. Thereafter, many of the crowd had bought them a few beers, and were asking for their band name and schedule of upcoming events. "We were not a band, there was no name or schedule of events, and we never played together before that day". We sat at the table, and talked about putting something together, Butch said, "how do you like the name, "STORM WARNING"? Cody called a bass player he use to jam with on occasion, we had 1 rehearsal, got booked as an opening act at Englewood Event Center 1 week later... Alas...The birth of STORM WARNING! A few months later, their bass player moved on, and "we were so very fortunate, to have found Randy, yet at another open jam, who happened to be looking for a working band" and hopped on board with us! We recently hit the jackpot once again, with Shawn Murphy, who has joined up with the Storm, with his killer vocals, sax and keyboards, and has opened us up to such a larger genre of music. One thing you will notice about this band (BESIDES THEIR ROCKIN!) is their commitment to each other and not playing favorites. They all come together to make a decision. It isn’t a thing of playing favorites nor one of grandstanding. They just like jamming and rockin! They all play a variety of instruments – Cody is the main singer (all members sing also), plays guitar and harmonica. Joe on drums and percussion, Butch on guitar (and also plays various instruments). Randy is the bass man (and plays just about every instrument known to man) and newest member, Shawn Murphy plays saxophone, keyboards, and also provides killer vocals. STORM WARNING NEVER uses a set list, “we feel out and play to the crowd!). They are all good friends too, often socialize with their significant other, “we just love the chemistry, having a good time, and spilling all of it into the crowds we play for.” Cody hails from Venice, Joe is from Port Charlotte, Butch and Randy are North Port, Shawn is from Punta Gorda (all southern counties mostly). Here’s how to get a hold of the STORM: rockinwiththestorm@gmail. com www.rockinwiththestorm. com Facebook rockinwiththestorm 908-787-5588 In Randy’s own words, “they offer one hell of a good time!” And that they do, because I have heard jam many a time and THEY ROCK!!! Joey D says that THEY DO when asked the question of “what makes you different than most bands?”

58

Butch ads in that they have wireless guitars and instruments so that they can wander out in the crowd (and that Cody has a unique talent of DJ-ing between sets, also involving and including the crowd!). STORM WARNING offers a wide array of music. They can play weddings to down and out hard core rock to a family-kind of setting. AND they “KNOW” by the crowd and the reception of what kind of music the crown likes! STORM WARNING does hits from Bobby Darin up to Stone Temple Pilots and some of their own music too! They cover all kinds of genre. STORM WARNING has over 150 songs that they can play. All you have to do is ask for a song, and more times than not, they will knock it out for you! Randy has been a professional musician since he was 15 years old. Butch has been in many bands (local, regional, and national). Joey D was a musician and came back to it. Cody has done some album work with another band, and thus came in contact with KDS Studios (which used to be Transcontinental Studios). From 1994 to 2007, out of the top 10 best-selling songs, this studio has had at least 3 on the list each of those years! STORM WARNING recorded a CD (KDS Studios, Orlando) – Joey D says it is EVERY musicians dream! There are 11 songs on the CD and Cody wrote 8 of them. They were songs that he had written over 10 years ago! Butch wrote 2, and one is a remix of a cover “STORM STYLE” as they say! It took three 18-20 hours days of hard work to make this CD, but as Joey D says, “we’d do it all over again, in fact, the creative juices have been flowing, so I guess you can say, we will be back in the studio sooner than later to work on CD #2!” Their new CD will available April 9, 2016 for only $10.00 and will also be available shortly thereafter on I-Tunes. There future plans are to RIDE THE WAVE AS FAR AS WE CAN…This CD is one step in the right direction. Describe yourself in 3 words? ROCKIN GOOD TIME! Three things you love? FAMILY and seeing people rockin with the STORM! We love the crowd and seeing them get into the songs we play…the crowd is what it’s all about! The magazines they have been in includes LSD Biker, Southwest Florida Biker, Comic Books in DC (Joe’s brother-in-law is a writer). They are in touch with Clear Channel radio station to do an interview also! And WENG always advertises where they are playing and does an excellent job of keeping the public updated as to where STORM WARNING is playing next! Cody and Randy ride. Cody’s bike is an ’83 Shovelhead FXSB, and Randy’s bike is a 2006 Vulcan 1600 Classic! In closing, STORM WARNING would like to thank all of their fans. Without YOU, it wouldn’t be possible. Cody, Joe, Butch, Randy, and Shawn would like to give a shout out to Karen and Joe of Ms. Rascal’s Looney Bin, and also to Johnny Mac of Mac Attack Productions, LLC…Nothing but love for them! Why don’t YOU come on out to the LOONEY BIN 1182 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL 33953 (941-255-5999) on April 9, 2016 to see STORM WARNING kick off their CD RELEASE!!! For only $10.00 admission ticket (which also entitles you to 2 free draft tickets, 5 amazing prize table tickets, and entry to the door prize – 48” VIZIO Smart TV – AND ONE HELL OF A GOOD TIME, and oh lots of rock by the almost famous…STORM WARNING!!! ***** I visited these amazing shops: Venice Powersports 941-4848880 Til next issue, Nancy p., Full Throttle rep. Well, I am still going, Just not as strong. It was good to see everyone at Webster in February. Thanks for stopping by and saying hello. There was a few Vendors that came down early for Bike Week coming up, to Get out of the Cold weather. Bike Week 2016 starts on the 4th of March 2016 and goes till the 13th of March. Bike week in central Florida has really spread out. It’s no longer just Daytona. Bike week now is all over central Florida. Orlando Harley-Davidson has a HUGE show and lots of live music. Leesburg H-D also has their red Carpet out. Please stop in and visit these dealers and all the others in the area. Webster Swap Meet will be having their regular scheduled Meet on Sunday March 7th 2016. I know Bike week is going on than, but don’t forget to come out and say hello any way. There will be a Swap Meet. I am not sure if I will be able to get to Bike Week this year. I love to go to Eustis to the Antique Meet at the Fairgrounds. This is a VMA and VJMA Swap Meet The Dates for that meet are the 4th, 5th, and 6th of March 2016 . I was watching the News after The Big Car Race week in Daytona Beach. Well we don’t need to bring a lot to Bike Week because. Car Week people left us their Tents, Sleeping Bags, Refrigerators, Ice Chests, Beds with Frame, Couches and some Cars, Trucks and who knows what else. I know that these events bring big revenue to the area. After seeing all that on the news it made me wonder about the economic impact on the Waste Management. I think that Bikers Bring less and leave less behind. It’s hard to bring a couch and Frig on a Bike.???. Bikers bring money and credit cards, and buy what they need at bike week, HUGE revenue for the local stores. As Motorcycle People Lets do better than that. Go see the Full Throttle Bike Show at the board walk and say hello to them. Have fun and be safe at Bike Week. Hope to see you all soon.

A farmer goes out and buys a new, young rooster. As soon as he brings him home, the young rooster rushes and screws all 150 of the farmers hens. The farmer is impressed. At lunchtime, the young rooster again screws all 150 hens. The farmer is not just impressed anymore,he is worried. Next morning, not only is the rooster screwing the hens but he is screwing the turkeys, ducks even the cow. East Coast Locals

by Pablo Gutierrez

It was a beautiful clear, cool morning around 8. I arrived early at Eaglerider Miami waiting for everyone to line up their bikes for our

ride to Coconuts in Big Pine Key. From the distance I could hear the distinct sound of two obviously tricked out sport bikes. I could hardly contain my anticipation as the screaming banshees drew closer. Then, from around the corner of the building and into the expansive parking lot, appeared the pair of highly tuned super bikes. David on a gray metallic, 400 horsepower Hayabusa (yep...400 horses), and Patrick on a Kawasaki Ninja prepared for road racing, looked like something straight out of a postapocalyptic biker movie!! Not sure of what to expect as they removed their helmets and jackets, I was totally freaked to see two rather well composed guys walk over to say hello. As it turns out, David owns a very successful printing shop, and Patrick is an IT consultant with an impressive resume to beat all hell!! His motorcycle history is equally interesting. Patrick Kendall was born in Morgantown, West Virginia in 1970. Hmmm, let's see.... that would make him 46 years old, and he tells me that cagers often yell out the window at him, things akin to "you damn crazy kids"! In 1983, at the age of 15, while living in the backwoods of West Virginia and Pennsylvania, he saved his hard earned money working neighborhood chores and bought a brand new Suzuki rm80 dirt bike, and the motorcycle injection entered his blood. Just after high school when he turned 18 in 1988, he volunteered in the Army and quickly became a 5th Cavalry Division

82

Squad Leader as Corporal 11B while serving in the Infantry and Pathfinder schools at Fort Benning, Ga. In 1990 he was deployed to Giessen, Germany for further training to prepare for combat duty in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq in 1991, finally completing his tour of duty in 1992 at Fort Hood, Texas. After an Honorable Discharge it was time to put both the benefits and the calamities of combat behind him..... you guessed it.....he bought another bike!! While relocating in Austin, Texas, he acquired his next bike, graduating to a 1994 Suzuki GSXR 750, further fueling his passion for motorcycles and honing his sport bike skills for the next decade. During this ten year period he earned an Associate Degree in Computer Science/ Specialized Technology and a one in CADD Management (Computer Aided Drafting And Design). He is now a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Systems Administrator, as well as a Certified Cisco Network Engineer. Not bad!
