September is finally here which means the last month of summer and rain here in Florida and we are looking forward to October, fall and cooler, dryer weather. That also means the events are going to start piling up as we get into the best riding season. If you are looking to advertise your events to the motorcycle community, then you have what you need in your hands already! Contact your local rep or call our offices at 727-935-4875 and we will make sure to give you the best advertising for your dollar! We are looking for builders for our Bike Builder Invitational that happens at Quaker Steak and Lube January 24th - 26th 2014. this year we have $20,000 in cash and prizes we will be giving away. That breakdown is $10,000 in cash, $5,000 to the best in show bike and five classes that share a prize of $1,000 each (1st place - $500, 2nd place - $300 and 3rd place - $200) The Best in show bike wins $5,000 and a custom designed one off ring valued at $5,000 made by Joy Pierson and her staff at Continental Wholesale Diamonds LLC 1715 N. Westshore Blvd. Ste. 150, 1st Floor Tampa, FL. 33607 Direct: 813.282.7375. We are proud to have them on board this year as a title sponsor for our event! If you are a builder and are interested in entering a bike (FREE OF CHARGE) contact me at tonyc@floridafullthrottle.com and send us pictures of your builder or drawing of what you are building for a personal invite and the bike show rules! we are looking for custom radical one off builds for the show. So if you think you have something that fits, let's talk! So much has happened in August that we would like to talk about in this month's issue. Capitol City HarleyDavidson (Tallahassee Harley-Davidson) has now joined with the Tampa Harley group making them the largest group of Harley Dealerships in the state with Tampa, Brandon, Gulf Coast, Panama City Beach and now Tallahassee Harley. Also, the new 2014 Harley models came out and we will be featuring some of the bikes in the upcoming issues with test rides and our opinions on them. From what I have seen they have made some nice improvements. The 2014 Indian Motorcycle line was also introduced and we have an article on them in this month's issue on pages 52 & 53, be sure to check them out as it is a return of a classic. Be sure to read up on Twisted Liquid and the GAME OVER bike that is featured on the cover of this month's issue. It is a very cool paint job that glows from an electric charge under the paint. It is really unique and different. We are all happy that Big Al is feeling better now a days. He was going through some tough times physically but is looking better each day, if that's possible. We can say the same about our friend Scott Burke who is looking better each day. There are a lot of birthdays in September so we would like to say happy birthday to all of our friends: Greg Reaster, Mary Archie, Ardithe Demoss, Brad Lyons, Marilyn Menendez, Mike Rieker, Jenna Stone, Sheree ThomasHakler, Brad Souders, Terry (PEEWEE) brown, Farrel Bernstein, Herm Narciso, Donny Wilson, Dan Sullivan, Jamie Lindblom, Stephanie Fucito-Hurst, Lexe Usher, Andrea Treu Peterson, Tana Smith, Mark Dicks, Fred J Arlt, DaeAnn Knight Ryder, Kirk Iannone, JoJo Santo, Bob Demoss, Ed (Mouse) Massimiano, and Tabitha Wilson.

Do you remember the saying "GAME OVER" back in the day when playing video games such as Mortal Kombat, etc.? Well, it’s time that the saying came over to the motorcycle builders because TWISTED LIQUID KUSTOMS OWNER, JASON DOTY along with his brother KEVIN DOTY are the proud builders of the GAME OVER BIKE! That’s right… The new LIGHTED BIKE CALLED "GAME OVER" IS A TRANSLUCENT beauty with the paint being ELECTRIC, it is a wonder to see! It works off battery and can be SOUND activated. Pete Duece Gonzalez was the air

brushing artist, and thanks to LUMILOR for the light up paint. That’s not the only thing they can do with this amazing technology. For instance, TWISTED LIQUID KUSTOMS can make helmets or just about anything to match! TWISTED LIQUID KUSTOMS is top to bottom Cycle and Auto Customization shop. They use custom Auto Finishes custom Paint, 24k Gold Plating, Hydro Graphics, a Full Mechanical Services and a Wrapulator (including wheels and lifts). Yes indeed, they can do it all! Also don’t forget that they do auto and motorcycle collision repair. The shop # is:

941-361-2456 1507 N. WASHINGTON BLVD. SARASOTA, FL 34236 941-920-2500 (JASON DOTY) With a professional staff of employees including: JASON HIMSELF, KEVIN DOTY, DAEGAN DOTY, SHAWN DINANT (MECHANIC), KYLE WRATHELL, JAIME VALDEIGLESIAS (AIR BRUSH ARTIST ) and Doc (special projects). Starting JANUARY 1, THE FAMOUS AIR BRUSH ARTIST, DAVID LEE. What is really exciting about this shop is that they just moved into a 5,000 sq. ft. building leaving plenty of room for their new PPG envirobased paint exclusively which is water based! TWISTED LIQUID KUSTOMS also has a new PPG mixing station to mix and match any color paint including the candy colors! With the new PPG paint station, it makes the shop GREEN! TWISTED LIQUID KUSTOMS IS NOW GREEN!!! Paul Borchert from Reliable Auto Paint is their exclusive PPG distributor. You just think the color you want, and TWISTED LIQUID KUSTOMS can mix it up for you! They are working on getting CCC Insurance estimating software so they can start doing motorcycle insurance work. TWISTED LIQUID KUSTOMS will be in the 2014 BIKE BUILDERS INVITATIONAL Jan. 24-26. COME AND SEE IT FOR YOURSELF – and see why it’s called GAME OVER!!! 39

Summer is hotter than ever, and mother nature throws some rain at us, but bikers still come out to bike events all around the area. August started out the month with Jannus Live Bike Nights on Thursday nights. Then the Redneck Games was a fun and crazy day. You never know what's going to happen at that event. But now it's time to turn our attention to September. I would like to welcome Eaglerider Motorcycle Shop in Orlando to the Full Throttle family. Be sure and come out on September 28th and 29th for their Grand Opening Party. Full Throttle will be set up 40

there and I can't wait to meet all the Orlando area bikers. Put on you calendar October 17th thru 20th as we ride into Biketoberfest in Daytona. Full Throttle Magazine will have Daytona covered for the event so stay tuned. Well, that's about it for this month. Remember bikers, If women don't find you handsome, At least let the find you handy. Ride safe everyone.

41

Hi all just sat down to write a things or two about the last month. August was wet with all the rain, rain, rain and more rain. If you made it to an event in the morning then you were going to be wet by the late afternoon. If you missed the Mad Beach Bike fest in Madeira Beach there were a lot of bike that showed up for the event and it was a great day. The rain waited long enough for Full Throttle & Jaw Dropping Customs to give out the trophies. The bikes show raised over $800 for B.I.K.E.R.C.A.P.S. Hopefully you didn’t miss the grand open of Jaw Dropping Customs and the walk through of their location. Then the after party at Quaker! A day we all remember is 9-11, for the men and women who lost their lives, my heart go out to their families. If you go on a 9-11 ride or event think about the ones who are in our military protecting our country from that kind of tragedy and the first responders who protect and care for us at home. We were able to see two new movies this month, “JOBS” and the other one was “The Butler”. Check out my movie review to see which one I liked – both are great movies! Tarpon Springs had a food truck rally closing off the downtown area. It nice to have so many food choices on the city street and since we were with Anne’s son, daughter, son in law and granddaughter we had several foods to try because everyone wanted something different. Tell next month Live life to the fullest and party you’re a** off. Dew

I attended a benefit dinner for Steve Kuschka at Hobbs Hideaway in Hudson on August 10th. Steve was run of the road on his bike by a carless merging driver in a car. The driver of the car continued on his merry way and has never been caught. Because of the drivers carelessness Steve has broken his neck in five places. C2 thru C6. He also has a crushed spinal cord. Steve now has to reley on a ventilator to breath for him. He is paralyzed from the neck down. Steve and his lady Tracie

have a long road to travel. The good folks at the benefit raised $1900.00 for his care. Steve and Tracie are gonna need our help for a long time. This type of injury is permanent. Another benefit dinner is being planned for the end of September in Safety Harbor. If you would like to help contact Tracie Jo at 727-484-5073 or traciejowarner@ gmail.com 43

Its that time of year again - break out the camping gear and get everything cleaned out. Spooks and Scoots in October weekend camp out and the fun thing of the year. It is October 11 12 and 13th. Gates open at 12.00 PM on October 11. The Sertoma Youth Ranch 85 Myers Road in Hernando County, Florida. This is a great weekend event for the State of Florida put on by ABATE of Hillsborough County. This is my favorite event. The place it is held as shade trees and electric - a great camp ground. You cant beat the price and you are among biker friends. I would like to tell you a story about a friend of mine. His name is Jimmy Hair. He bought a BMW bike years ago and travelled all over the US and Canada pulling a trailer and rode on many miles since then. It was a Boxer R80 and recently he found another one that he liked - a K1600 GTL 6 cylinder touring bike. So if you have a touring bike he figured he better tour. So he decided he would go to the BMW rally in Salem, OR. In the meantime his buddy Edward Farmer

liked the bike and bought one just like it Ok Grandpa, I different colour of course. Jim and his wife have a condo in Myrtle Beach and live in NC. warned you, now I am calling my You might say they travelled from the atlanbiker buddies tic to the pacific on their motorcycles. They were gone 17 days and travelled 7200 miles. There stops included Memphis, Arlington, El Paso, Flagstaff, Las Vegas, Carson City, Salem, Spokane, Bozeman, Sturgis, Webster City and Indianapolis and hurried home. I would like to call Jimmy a biker that bikes not one that sits around drinking and intimidating people. He likes to see the country and has a new riding companion Ed. There are a couple of pictures - one at the Grand Canyon and one at the Oregon Coast. Here are a couple of guys who enjoy riding their bikes - real bikers and I am glad to have them as friends. Also back in the day I worked as a union Ironworker and recently they have formed a MC riding group in Florida made up of Ironworkers. I will tell you more about it later. Also the picture of the girl with the cell phone her grandpa works for Full Throttle - his name is Randy Adams - if you see him, you might warn him. I really have enjoyed meeting people at Webster meeting people - it makes me feel pretty special. I really like the hugs and kisses from the girls. See you soon Donna...

Last month was interesting and busy to say the least! July 20th- August 10th I was on a 3-week adventure with my Uncle and Cousin. In a shortsummary, we travelled 23 states and 9,800miles in 21 days! It was a trip of a lifetime- We saw Mount Rushmore in South Dakota, Bison crossed our paths, literally, jumped from the Stratosphere in Vegas. While in South Dakota, we visited Sturgis and The Full Throttle Saloon while they were setting up for the annual rally-met Emit, the donkey. I could write a book on our adventures and travels, but some of my favorites included all of Pike Peak, the Redwoods, the Grand Canyon, Vegas, the caves in Oregon, St. Louis arch and Bass Pro Shop in Missouri. Upon return I’ve been swamped! I dove in head first back to work- everyone loves vacations, but I also enjoy resuming my busy work and school load. I will admit, I DID NOT miss the Florida humidity or afternoon rainstorms! I’ve been catching up on my riding lately- even to the office! Nothing’s more exhausting than a long day at work and a long rainy drive home in Floridian traffic. For the sake of everyone around you riders and cars… REMEMBER YOUR HEADLIGHTS, GIVE US SPACE, AND STAY ALERT IN THE RAIN & WET ROADS!!! I’m looking forward to this month, should be less rain and more riding weather! I hope my final semester at USF doesn’t interrupt too much- hehe. You’ll see me around town and at events- make sure you stop by and say hello! Ride Safe and Arrive Alive! Tiphani “The Intern"

With less than two months to go before the inaugural American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo), the show has announced that consumer tickets are now available at www.AIMExpoUSA.com, the show’s offi cial website. Adult tickets are only $15. Kids 12 and under get in free accompanied by an adult, making AIMExpo an inexpensive and fun event for the whole family in one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations. Consumer days at AIMExpo take place October 18-20 and provide motorcycle enthusiasts the chance to see and experience the newest products for 2014 through launches, exclusive showcases, riding demos and more. All categories of motorcycling will be represented by hundreds of participating companies. At AIMExpo Outdoors, attendees will be able to test ride the latest motorcycles, scooters, ATVs and side by sides from participating manufacturers like Yamaha, Suzuki and KYMCO. Fans new to the sport can participate in Motorcycle Safety Foundation basic training. Inside AIMExpo, informative educational seminars will be held all three days. All told, AIMExpo will deliver an unparalleled opportunity for powersports enthusiasts to see, touch and enjoy the latest and greatest from the motorcycle industry in one place, at one time for the fi rst time ever in North America. “Motorcyclists have never experienced an event like this,” said Kerry Graeber, Marketing Director, Marketplace Events Motorcycle Group. “In the past, enthusiasts would learn about new products

after they were introduced and have to wait to personally see them. At AIMExpo fans will be able to actually participate in the launch and public debut of brand new products. It’s a revolutionary event designed to inject excitement and energy into the motorcycle and greater powersports industry.” Graeber added that consumer interest in tickets is already high, which prompted the launch of the online option. “Buying tickets through the show’s website is convenient and easy and will allow attendees to bypass lines at the box offi ce,” he said. Orlando is globally renowned thanks to its weather and attractions including Walt Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios. The region is also home to a thriving riding community that regularly celebrates its love of motorcycles through events like Daytona Bike Week, Biketoberfest and local club events. With so many amenities, and some of the best riding in the country, central Florida is the ideal host for AIMExpo. The inaugural AIMExpo will revolutionize the Powersports industry as North America’s fi rst combined consumer, trade and media event. It will be held on October 16-20, 2013 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
