WEL COME.
Welcome to the Standard Bank Top Women EmpowHER 2023 Conference!
We understand that for women entrepreneurs, the path to success often involves overcoming barriers related to accessing trade or markets, rather than lacking business intelligence or innovative models. This one-day conference is specifically designed to address these challenges by providing a platform for women entrepreneurs to connect, share their barriers, receive support, and learn directly from successful award-winning entrepreneurs.
Starting a new business can be intimidating, especially without adequate support. Women entrepreneurs face additional hurdles when they lack access to value chains, markets, and networks. Together with the bank that prioritises supporting women in their pursuit of their “next” goals, Top Women aims to break down these barriers and provide a platform for women in business to participate and enhance their prospects.
One of the highlights of the conference is the 2-hour pitching den, where 10 entrepreneurs were pre-qualified and will have the opportunity to present their promising business models in a 3-minute elevator pitch. They will receive valuable advice and feedback on areas such as investment, funding, new markets, and attracting new customers from a panel of high-profile judges. This session will help them chart their next steps towards success. The winner from each province will
make their way to the 20th Annual Standard Bank Top Women Awards in Johannesburg where one will be awarded the EmpowHER Entrepreneur title of 2023 and the trophy and R50 000 cash prize.
As a delegate we hope you find value in:
Engaging in dynamic discussions to overcome barriers in entrepreneurship. Connecting with a diverse range of business leaders at the highest level, generating new leads. Developing multifaceted partnerships with like-minded companies and business leaders. Gaining valuable insights and influence to advance women in business. Meeting and strategizing with key players in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMMEs) who support wamen’s empowerment.
We are excited to have you join us for this empowering event. Together, we can overcome obstacles and pave the way for a brighter future for women entrepreneurs. Let’s take this opportunity to learn, connect, and elevate our businesses.
