Influencer duo Zoe Hargan and Dani Borthwick (@fromnorthtwosouth) embraced the Giant Spirit of Northern Ireland as they enjoyed three blissful days touring the Causeway Coastal Route. Originally from Dublin and Belfast, the pair showcased the rugged Causeway Coastal Route and the delights of Derry to their 80k Instagram followers and here they tell us how they got on... Day one - Beautiful Ballycastle We were so excited for this giant adventure! We loaded the car with everything we thought we could possibly need and were buzzing to depart Dublin and get this trip started. Three hours later and just as the sun was setting, we arrived in Ballycastle to discover our coastal calm at the absolutely stunning The Salthouse Hotel. We had a late evening meal in the hotel’s Lookout Bar and Restaurant where we both enjoyed some delicious steaks and chips. The food was just as amazing as the view – we could see the Atlantic Ocean and Rathlin Island from our table.

Day two - Cruising the Causeway Coastal Route After a delicious breakfast we started the day at The Salthouse Hotel’s thermal spa. The stunning views of Fairhead and Rathlin Island from the outdoor hot tubs and sauna, with its panoramic window, really didn’t disappoint. We stopped off in the cute coastal village of Ballintoy before making our way to The Giant’s Causeway - it’s such a gorgeous place. The audio tour was amazing, it was so informative as we made our way down to the breathtaking basalt columns by the sea. We had lunch at The Bushmills Inn and wow what a treat! The views along The Causeway Coastal Route are simply breathtaking, everywhere we looked was the perfect spot for a pic or selfie. We had to stop at Dunluce Castle, the infamous Dark Hedges and Mussenden Temple which

Located within the city’s historic walls, this hotel was the definition of complete luxury and our dinner at the Walled City Brewery – just a short stroll over the Peace Bridge away – was incredible, we had the squid and the steak!

Day three - Buzzing Legenderry The Bishops Gate Hotel was the perfect place to spend a night in Derry, and the people who work there are absolute legends. After breakfast we checked out of the hotel and started exploring the city. We saw the very famous Derry Girls Mural and took part in a Martin McCrossan Derry Girls Tour. We visited lots of the show’s filming locations and had plenty of craic with our tour guide Charlene McCrossan. We also visited the Guildhall – it was absolutely stunning and is definitely not to be missed, we fell in love with the building’s stained-glass windows! Now it’s your turn to Embrace a Giant Adventure in Northern Ireland. With a whole host of activities to explore this spring, it’s only a small step to a giant adventure.

Top tips: Check out Rathlin island – it’s six miles long and one mile wide and home to around 140 people – The Rathlin Ferry departs Ballycastle Harbour every few hours. The Giant’s Causeway information centre is really interactive – it’s would be absolutely perfect to bring your kids to! The Guildhall in Derry is free to visit. When you’re here, make sure to check out the John Hume Peace Prize collection – it’s incredible to see this in person. Make sure to get a flight of the beers brewed at the Walled City Brewery – they are amazing, every single one was incredible but Dani loved the Passionista the most! When cruising The Causeway Coastal Route be sure to stop off at Magheracross View Point for some truly stunning scenes of the Causeway Coast, Dunluce Castle and Whiterocks Beach.
