“HAVING HOPE AT HOME” runs August 22 - 26 & August 29 - September 2 This side-splitting comedy is the tale of three – soon to be four – generations on the Bingham Family farm. Carolyn and Michael, who are soon-to-be-parents, live happily in the rundown farmhouse along with Carolyn’s Grandpa who hilariously refuses to stay out of the dairy barn. Carolyn’s overachieving parents will be arriving soon for a very special dinner in which she plans to re-unite all generations of the family - and while they’re at it bring about world peace! Fifteen minutes before her parents arrive, Carolyn’s contractions begin! The Barn Playhouse creates a full event out on the farm. The yard opens at 5:30 pm with food booths, live old-tyme music and horsedrawn wagon rides in the pasture. The show begins at 7:30 pm. Sundays begin at noon with the show at 2:00 pm.
The FIBA 3x3 World Tour is returning to downtown Saskatoon! In conjunction with Taste of Saskatchewan, teams from around the world will hit the streets of Saskatoon on July 21 and 22. Scheduled to join Team Saskatoon in the tournament are teams from Serbia, Mongolia, Latvia, United States and more. In addition to the main tournament, a dunk contest and shoot-out contest will take place between games. Live music, cheerleaders, dance teams, giveaways, and other entertainment will be held throughout the weekend. The event is free to the public and starts at 12:00 pm daily. Join us and cheer on Team Saskatoon!
