Victoria Settlement Potato Derby - August Wholesome, high-fibre family fun. Sink your teeth into a baked potato, and compete in potato themed contests, races and more!

Métis Crossing Voyageur Experience - August Explore the evolution of the unique Métis Nation. Enjoy a smoked meat demo.

Smoky Lake Pumpkin Festival - October A competition for the largest pumpkin, watermelon, squash and more. Enjoy food at the hall and fair grounds, plus a special Farmers’ Market at the Ag Complex grounds, and at the school gymnasium. Check out the threshing bee at the museum grounds, and be sure not to miss the Pumpkin drop, and so much more!

Meet the Producers 1 Bear Lake Honey Pick up some locally grown, family loved honey at the Smoky Lake Farmers’ Market. Enjoy this fresh honey produced primarily from clover and alfalfa. 2 Bellis Greenhouse Visit Nancy and Brad at their colourful greenhouse for all your flower garden needs! From the beginning of May until they sell out they have a variety of bedding plants, perennials, and trees to choose from. 3 Hutterian Brethren of Smoky Lake Colony Stop in at the Greenhouse offering flowers, tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers from the beginning of May to the second week in June, Monday to Saturday 9 am to 5 pm, and 7 pm to 9 pm. 4 Linda's Market Garden Visit their farm store for locally grown pre-picked strawberries, and for seasonal vegetables like young potatoes, peas, carrots, beans, pickling cucumbers, cabbage, corn, onions, and garlic. Mandy follows the philosophy that you feed the soil not the plants. Mandy specializes in garlic, onions and field tomatoes. Her menu also includes free range chicken, pork and turkey.
