DAY 1: FERRY CROSSING
Ferry crossing from Calais / Dunkirk to Dover. Journey onwards through the county of Kent, nicknamed the Garden of England, to London.
DAY 2: BOMBAY SAPPHIRE GIN DISTILLERY – WINCHESTER
The day begins with a visit to the impressive Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery. Continue to the pretty market town of Winchester with a city tour and visit to the Great Hall, in which the iconic round table from the King Arthur legend is located. Afterwards drive to Southampton.
DAY 3: BEAULIEU – LYME REGIS – PLYMOUTH
HIGHLIGHTS
This gourmet’s trip through Southern England offers the chance to learn how to make Cornish pies, enjoy plenty of cosy tea breaks and participate in wine tastings. A trip to the unique Isles of Scilly is also part of the program, as is a visit to picturesque estates and picturesque fishing villages.

Drive to the picturesque village of Beaulieu in the heart of the New Forest National Park and go on a guided tour through the dreamy Palace House and the medieval Beaulieu Abbey. Drive to the enchanting town of Lyme Regis, which is located on the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to the seafaring town Plymouth and enjoy dinner at the harbour.
DAY 4: COTEHELE HOUSE – DARTMOOR NATIONALPARK
Boat trip along the Tamar River past the Cotehele Mill, a still operating water mill from the 19th century. Pay a visit to Cotehele House; The Tudor House is considered to be one of the least modified medieval mansions in England. Following this visit the town of Tavistock where you can enjoy a typical cream tea, before venturing into the Dartmoor National Park.
DAY 5: PORT ISAAC – PADSTOW – WINERY
Wander round the fishing village of Port Isaac. Afterwards explore the coastal town Padstow. A visit to the lavish Prideaux Place is recommended. In the afternoon discover the Trevibban Mill Vineyard & Orchards; the winery impresses with its variety of wines and countless vines in the midst of a beautiful landscape.
DAY 6: PORTREATH BAKERY – LAND’S END – ST. IVES
The first stop today is the Portreath Bakery, where a baker will explain how Cornish pies are made. There will be time for a photo stop at the monastery fortress of St. Michael’s Mount, which is located on a rock in the sea. The journey continues to the cliffs of Land’s End with the option of a coastal hike. Afterwards go on a train ride from St. Erth to St. Ives along one of the most
scenic routes. On arrival in the picturesque coastal village of St. Ives there will be time to explore and soak up the vibrant atmosphere.
DAY 7: ISLES OF SCILLY
Day trip to the impressive Isles of Scilly: During the morning flight to the archipelago, keep an eye out the window as the isle’s beautiful landscape can already be admired from a bird’s eye view. Start by exploring the capital Hugh Town on the largest island of the archipelago. In the afternoon embark on a ferry crossing along the coast of Cornwall back to the mainland to Penzance; here you can enjoy another fantastic view of St. Michael’s Mount.
DAY 8: CHEDDAR GORGE – WELLS – BRISTOL Drive to Cheddar Gorge, known for its spectacular caves and as the home of Cheddar Cheese. Visit the Cheddar Cheese Company, before continuing to the market town of Wells for a short stop. Arrive in Bristol in the afternoon. The city is known for the British street artist Banksy and the lively harbour, which is wonderful to explore on foot.
DAY 9: BATH – LACOCK – LONDON
Visit the elegant city of Bath renowned for its Romanbuilt baths and Georgian architecture. Continue to medieval Lacock, which impresses with its picturebook-like alleys and historic abbey. Continue onwards to London for an evening city tour and a farewell dinner to round off the day.
DAY 10: FERRY CROSSING
Return home by ferry via Dover to Calais / Dunkirk.
