The Art Gallery hosts its 13th annual Juried Exhibition featuring artwork inspired by stories and places that only exist in fictional places.

Paper Trails

August 26-October 20, 2023

Opening Reception on Saturday, August 26, from 4:00-6:00 pm

An exhibition curated by Bay Area Artist, Shem. Featuring an eclectic collection of artworks made from paper and on paper. An examination of paper in its purest form: pulp as an artform.

SYMPHONIC MUSICAL STORY TIME PRESENTS: “THE WIZARD OF OZ”

Tuesday, May 16 at 5pm

Children’s Reading Room, Danville Library

In this special rendition of “The Wizard of Oz,”musical storytelling group, Symphonics, re-tells this classic musical fantasy of Dorothy and her friends as they travel down the yellow brick road in search of a heart, a brain, courage, and a way home. The performance will be followed by a themed craft. Get swept away on this magical journey in celebration of Summer Reading 2023, “Find Your Voice,” beginning in June 2023!

Find Your Voice this summer at the Danville Library and countywide with many types of programs and evLents to help you express yourself. Readers of all ages can visit ccclib.org/summer for activities and challenges to feed the imagination and explore new skills. Every completed entry is eligible for a free book and a chance to win even more prizes!
