Group Swim Lessons

Our Group Swim Lessons consist of 3 early childhood courses and five levels of lessons for 4-12 year olds. The group lesson format includes classes held Monday through Thursday for one or two weeks. In most cases, enrollment is limited to a maximum number of students per instructor. Therefore, students might need to move to an earlier or later class time when necessary. If a class is at capacity, please add your child to the waitlist in case we can accommodate more participants.

GROUP SWIM LESSONS - LEVEL 1

6-12Y | Town Staff

Level 1 is designed for children ages 6 - 12 who are beginner swimmers and still need assistance in the water. Completion of this level requires your child must be able to travel 5 yards, bob three times, and tread water for 15 seconds, all without assistance.

GROUP SWIM LESSONS - LEVEL 2

Age 4-12Y | Town Staff

Level 2 is designed for children ages 4 - 12 who can swim 5 yards on their front and back without assistance. Completion of this level requires your child must be able to travel 10 yards on front and back and change direction in the water.
