Despite the challenges, the wave pool opened during the waterpark’s Grand Opening in November 2021. Since opening, the wave pool has been a hit with visitors—both because of the ride experience and the appeal of the surrounding area. Surrounded by tropical landscaping with a large TV and several new cabanas are available to rent, the wave pool is becoming a key spot to spend the day at the waterpark.

THE WORK IS NEVER DONE

From the very beginning, the Fairfield City Council has built this facility with their community in mind, and it has been wildly successful. The park has been designed around the idea of delivering family fun at reasonable prices. A day at Aquatopia Water Park costs a fraction of that of a commercial waterpark thus putting it in reach for more of the community. There are more plans afoot for the park, as keeping the attractions fresh is part of what makes the waterpark so appealing.
