SWIMMING LESSONS Please note that each swim class (except private and semi-private swim lessons) has a maximum of six participants per class and a minimum of three participants per class. Classes with fewer than three enrollees the Friday before class is scheduled to start will be moved or combined with other classes in order to meet the minimum enrollment. The Unicorn Jumpers Double Dutch Squad was designed for girls between the ages of 7-17. Participants are paired with skilled instructors that will not only teach them jumping techniques but turning, freestyle, and performance skills in single rope as well as Double Dutch. These classes are more than just athletics and endurance, they’re about mentorship and friendship! These classes generally run two days a week for eight weeks at The Rec at the Lakefront™. We use small group formats and hire the best coaches to make sure students are safe, having fun, and improving. All youth athletic leagues are organized by the Little Elm Area Youth Sports Association (LEAYSA). The sports currently offered by LEAYSA include, Baseball, Basketball, Cheer, Football, Soccer, Softball, Track, and Volleyball. More information can be located at www.leaysa.com.
ADULT ATHLETICS ADULT SOFTBALL Adult Softball leagues are played under USSSA guidelines. Leagues are open to teams only and fees are $375 per team. Teams play eight regular-season games per season, with teams playing one to two games per night. Leagues will have a one-night playoff after the regular season for the top four to six teams. Home run limits for each league are listed below, and all home runs over the limit will be considered an out. Due to time constraints, each season has a drop-dead date which is listed below. All games must be completed by this drop-dead date. Any games not completed by this time will be finished in a drop-dead tournament on a Saturday. This is the only way games are made up should we have three or more rainouts, and no refunds will be given. Teams must use Little Elm-logoed softballs. Registration for Winter Softball Leagues runs from November 21 and ends on December 25, with games beginning the week of Jauary 2-6. The drop-dead week for this season is February 27-March 13, and the drop-dead tournament will take place on March 4 if necessary. Registration for the Spring league runs January 23-February 26. Games begin the week of March 3-10, and teams must register at www.lakefrontrecreation.com. The drop-dead week for the spring softball league is May 1-5. The drop-dead tournament will take place on Saturday, May 6 if needed.

PICKLEBALL OPEN GYM Pickleball is open to any age group. Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines badminton, tennis, and table tennis elements. Pickleball requires a membership or day pass to The Rec at The Lakefront™. Pickleball open gym is held on MWF from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

ADULT BASKETBALL The Town of Little Elm is proud to offer a basketball league for adults on Sundays at The Rec at The Lakefront™. Games are played between noon and 9 p.m., and multiple divisions are offered. This league is a full-court league played primarily by men, and teams are guaranteed six games per season. The Town will provide officials and scorekeepers for games, and teams are required to provide reversible jerseys that have a number permanently affixed to the front or back of the jersey. If teams do not have reversible jerseys, they must have two color options for their jerseys. This year we will offer free agents the ability to sign up and create new teams. There must be eight free agents signed up to have a free agent team, and the Town will provide reversible jerseys for those teams. The league's first meeting will be on February 5 before league games begin and will be open for pick-up play and for free agents to meet. Registration for the Spring League will begin on January 2 and end on February 5. The first scheduled game will occur on February 12, and playoffs will be available for the top four to six teams.

The Town of Little Elm offers Indoor Volleyball at The Rec at The Lakefront™, with two different leagues on two different days.
Grab a friend and join one of the fastest-growing leagues in Little Elm. All leagues are 2v2, and teams may use subs when needed. Coed/Women's teams must have at least one female each night to play. Leagues are available on both Tuesdays and Thursdays, and all teams must bring their own bags. Each league night is open to the first 40 teams to register, and the cost is $60 per team. Registration begins on January 23 and ends on March 5. Games will begin on March 7 for the Tuesday leagues and March 9 for the Thursday leagues. The drop dead week is May 2-4 with the dropdead tournament taking place on May 6 if necessary. Registration includes two stickers/decals per team and 12 league matches (two per night most evenings). Playoffs will be available for the top 4-6 teams in each division. All cornhole leagues have a drop-dead date for each season. All games must be completed by this date. If any games remain to be played on this date, they will be made up in a drop-dead tournament on a predetermined Saturday.
Tuesday Coed 4v4 League. Registration for the Tuesday Coed 4v4 league is open to teams and free agents. Thursday Coed 6v6 League. Registration for the Thursday Coed 6v6 league is open to teams and free agents. Free Agents. The Town of Little Elm offers free agents the ability to sign up and create new teams. The cost per person is $35 and we must have at least six people signed up for the 4v4 league and eight people signed up for the 6v6 league to create a new team. New teams must have at least one of each gender to make. Leagues are guaranteed six games per season (some seasons will play eight), plus one week of playoffs. Teams must play with at least one female on the court at all times. Games will start between 6:30-7 p.m. and the last game each night will end around 10 p.m. Registration for the winter indoor volleyball season begins on December 12, and closes on January 22. The leagues will have open play nights on January 24 and 26 and the first games will be played on January 31 and February 2. Registration for the spring indoor volleyball season begins on February 13, and closes on March 26. The leagues will have open play nights on March 28 and 30 and the first games will be played on April 4 and 6.

The Town of Little Elm will host an open pickleball tournament on Friday, February 24, at The Rec at the Lakefront™, from 7:30 a.m.- 6 p.m. The tournament will be open to both teams and individual players with three games guaranteed. Casino Trips. Beginning January 2023, try your luck at Winstar Casino on the last Wednesday of every month. We charter a 55 passenger bus with air conditioning (heat in the winter time), wi-fi and a restroom so all you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. Bus departs the Senior Center at 8 a.m. and returns at 4 p.m. $25.00 round trip bus fare.

SPECIAL EVENTS LIGHTS ON THE LAKE November 25-December 27 Little Elm Park 701 W. Eldorado Parkway Thursday-Sunday Along with an incredible light show, Lights on The Lake will offer pictures with Santa, a hot air balloon glow, a Ferris wheel, a carousel, and an ice skating rink. The 24-nights-of-lights event will also have food trucks, vendors, and many Instagrammable spots perfect for your holiday pictures. This event will feature entertainment such as live music and dance performances. In addition, each weekend will include themes such as Frozen featuring Anna and Elsa, The Grinch, The Elf on the Shelf, and Santa. Themes: November 25-26: Elf on the Shelf – Watch out! Santa’s elf is back and has plenty of mischief up his sleeves. There will be photo opportunities available as well. December 3: Annual Tree Lighting and Christmas Parade – Attraction tickets will be available for purchase on-site.
