I’m originally from Michigan and received my BBA from Loyola University Chicago and MS from Western Illinois University. I moved to Texas in 2014 and have previously worked for the City of Frisco and the City of Garland’s Parks & Recreation Departments. I enjoy playing recreational sports (basketball, softball, volleyball) and am an avid basketball card collector. My name is Drew Bailey and I joined the Little Elm team in April as the Business Development Manager. I have my Associates degree in Culinary Arts and Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University. Prior to my role as the Business Development Manager for the town, I worked for Dale Ernhart Jr in events and marketing and then Augusta Nationals as a Service Trainer. After leaving Augusta Nationals, I was recruited to work for Marriott International. I worked for Marriott International for six years as their Senior Event Manager, planning 250 events a year with over three million dollars in sales. I moved to Little Elm in October and LOVE it! My son Riley is two years old and we enjoy taking him to the Lakefront and doing other outdoor activities. We also have a Greater Swiss Mountain dog named Bean, he is a giant 150 pound marshmallow dog. My name is Joe Ducay and I joined the Little Elm team in April as a Permit Technician in the Development Services Department. From 2014-2018 I worked in the public works and building departments for Frankfort, Illinois, (my hometown) on the south side of Chicago. I began my college career at Southern Illinois University–Carbondale and later transferred to Texas A&M– College Station. From 2019-2020 I worked for the City of Richland Hills in the Public Works department and in the City Manager’s office. I recently graduated from Texas A&M with a BS in Political Science. I am currently enrolled at the University of North Texas, pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration. Being relatively new to the state, I enjoy exploring the many cities within Texas. I am looking forward to enjoying the recreational activities Little Elm has to offer in the summer. In my spare time, I enjoy playing basketball with friends and rooting for the Chicago Bears.
