For off-road adventure seekers, Ceresco Prairie Mountain Bike Trails at Ripon College provides the thrill of jumps and switchbacks along with a couple of nice climbs. The trail is built on the side of a hill, and winds through hard woods and tall prairie grasses. The trail is open to fat-tire cycling during the winter. Open May through October, Larson’s Famous Clydesdales is quite the place to spend an afternoon! A short drive from Green Lake, it's one of the only places where visitors can see famous Clydesdales up close and personal. Enjoy a guided tour and grandstand show, and don’t forget to take pictures of a rare baby Clydesdale.
A birdwatching paradise awaits you. Start your day early, and discover the sights and sounds of Green Lake’s birds. Be sure to bring your binoculars for better views as Sunnyside Conservancy, Snake Creek Wetlands, Hattie Sherwood Park, Mill Pond, White River Marsh State Wildlife Area, and the Green Lake Conference Center offer some of the best spots for bird enthusiasts.

For those looking to explore the countryside with the power of an engine, snowmobiling in Green Lake County is a great way to take in the scenery. There are miles of groomed snowmobile trails in the Green Lake area, and rentals are available. If you prefer to keep your boots on the ground, head to Zobel Park for an exhilarating ride down the hill on a sled or tube. This gentle rolling hill draws the young (and young at heart) for a bit of exercise and excitement.
