Description

1. Loosely attach flange neck F using bolts A. 2. Loosely attach type approved towball (not supplied) using set screws G. 3. Tighten all fixings using a calibrated torque tool to the torque settings specified on the towbar drawing.

1. Remove bumper—3 fixings & 2 screws on bottom edge, 3 screws in each wheel arch & 1 plastic fixing securing top corner tips. Prise off each colour coded plastic cover located below each light cluster. (Note: Light clusters may be removed to give better access to the covers). Remove fixings from under each cover. With the aid of lubricant pull bumper sides off the retaining clips & disconnect reversing sensors.

2. Remove & hand to customer the impact beam. Refit the fixings to prevent water ingress.

3. Remove the tape covering the mounting points on the sides of the chassis rails.

4. Insert straps ST inside the chassis rails & loosely attach using set screws B with washers WA. 5. Insert crossbar CB inside the chassis rails alongside the straps & loosely attach using set screws B with washers WA. 6. Tighten & check all fixings.

7. Cut bumper as shown in diagram.

8. Refit bumper, reversing sensors, plastic covers & light clusters if removed.

Detachable Neck: Attach using set screws Z. Swan Neck: Attach with CPE10 plates (Standard Orientation) using set screws Y & bolts W. Flange Neck: Attach using bolts A and type approved towball (not supplied) using set screws G. 9. Check and tighten all fasteners using a calibrated torque tool to the specified torque settings recommended on the towbar drawing.
