Description
1. Remove the rear bumper and inner bumper metal frame. Remove the 4 rubber grommets from behind the rear panel. Remove the rubber bumper stops from the chassis ( where fitted ) and temporarily remove the rear exhaust silencer from its mountings. Open out the dimples in the outside rear panel and insert bushes BU into the rear panel. 2. Insert the 2 captive nuts CN into the holes provided in the chassis ( these may already be present ). Loosely attach angles LA and RA to the chassis rails using set screws A with washers WA. 3. Attach crossbar CB and angles LA and RA to the rear panel using bolts B and washers WA. 4. Check and tighten all fasteners using a calibrated torque tool to the specified torque settings recommended on the towbar drawing. 5. Replace the inner bumper metal frame, rear bumper and exhaust. 6. Attach flange neck F to the crossbar CB using bolts C. 7. Attach type approved towball (not supplied) using set screws D. 8. Check and tighten all fasteners using a calibrated torque tool to the specified torque settings recommended on the towbar drawing.
